I am so glad we brought our practice into the 21st century with ZHealth EHR and billing software

If we have an issue I or my staff can create a ticket for service and it is usually addressed same day.

PROS

Our main initial driver was getting a software that allowed online scheduling. We chose zHealth for that and I like that I can complete my notes from anywhere and that I can see my schedule from my phone. Our biller can work remotely, so that helped me keep my biller who has worked for us for almost 20 years.

CONS

Switching softwares is never easy, but it was worth it to get rid of our previous server-based software. I realized there was no way forward for our previous software. I wanted a company who would keep up with technology modernization and zHealth has been consistently adding new options over the past 2 years.

Insurance billing was not doable for us with the Jane software.

Clinic Pro is a server-based software and we were having frequent issues with accessibility and function. We wanted online scheduling and it was not possible with this older software.

Great tool to use in our office

PROS

When we came on board with Zhealth a little over a year ago we had zoom meetings with our customer success specialist. I was given his cell phone number so I always have had a direct contact with ZHealth instead of being sent into some call center queue. When the representative we had took another job he gave his the name and phone number of our new rep. I would say there are 2 parts of the software I really like 1 is the reports feature, my chiropractic assistant does the billing for our office and she also tracks how many patient visits we have had each month. We have been doing this for 4 years and this software makes it very easy for her to access those numbers. The second feature that I really like is that my patients can be on their lunch break and schedule a same day appointment for later that day.

CONS

When I use the last visit report and put a date range in it will give me every visit that patient had during that range. I would like this to be a true last visit so I can tell when someone has not been to my office for an extended period of time, so that I can reach out to them.

I liked the extra features that ZHealth provided like the body chart, kiosk check in, and the ease of use for my staff when it comes to invoices and SOAP notes.

Buyer Beware, do not sign the contract. It is all down hill from there. 6 months to Customize SOAP.

Terrible experience. Trying to switch to this product was a disaster and they don't care. I would never recommend this company. In my 23 years in practice I have been primarily with two companies prior to trying ZHealth. Timely support was lacking with Zhealth. They seem to be short staffed as they can't get anything done in a reasonable time frame, and because you can't customize yourself, you are sunk. Customizations were promised but non-existent. Once they get your money they neglect your needs as a client, because you have pre-paid and stuck in a contract.Read the other bad reviews. From my experience I believe they are accurate. I would not do business with this company. They did not care about me as a client.One time during a demo , on a shared screen I saw the salesman log into another client Doctors office without his knowledge. I asked about this, and how if I signed up with Zhealth that they would not access my site without my knowledge or consent each time they entered my site. Seeing this made me uneasy about office and patient privacy and confidentiality.After being with this company for 8-9 weeks I did not feel I could rely on them or trust them long term as I could not believe how poorly they supported their clients.

PROS

Nothing. They promise to fully customize the software SOAP notes and the patient digital intake was the enticing sales pitch. Then after you sign the contract and pay for a year up front you find out they don't really care if you are ever able to launch the software for your office, or get your customizations done in a timely manner. You end up paying for software that you can not use.

CONS

Do not sign the contract with this company.You can not customize this software yourself. You are fully dependent on the development team whom you can not contact directly. You have to go through support which involves opening a ticket. Then they tell you everything is on hold and they don't seem to have enough staff to get your work done. Customization's can take up to or possibly beyond six months to complete. The stock templates are terrible.If you leave Zhealth after a period of time you have no long term access to your previous patient notes and records in the system unless you agree to pay them $40 per month forever to access those records.

I decided to stay with Eclipse because it is a far better software and company than Zhealth. I have been using Eclipse for 8 years with no major issues, and support is always available.

Reasons for switching to zHealth

I was sold on the idea that Zhealth would be faster, automate more processes, was cloud based, and save time, but I was misled. It was going to be slower and less efficient than what I am currently using.Eclipse is a far better software. The company stands behind their product. Live support is always available, and the company has always been fair, ethical and timely in their treatment of me as a client. I am glad I did not cancel my Eclipse service prior to trying to transition to ZHealth.

Great Price / Great Value Chiropractic Software

We were looking for an affordable and easy to use chiropractic software for our new office. The zHealth team has been amazing from day one!

PROS

I like that it was made to fit our practice. Initial consultations included giving information about which type of setup would work best for our office AND the customer service is quick and extremely friendly.

CONS

The most difficulty has come with adding the payment processing, but I don't know if that's the software or the bank that provides the processing.

Amazing Up to Date Software

Customer service is always on top with very little delay in response time. Change and updates easily obtained.

PROS

This software is extremely user friendly and easy to teach staff. The customization and constant updates are above and beyond any other software I looked into.

CONS

I have been using the system for a couple of years and can think of no cons. Any hiccups in the transition were corrected and addressed within a respectable time frame.

Streamlined and easy to use software, great for solo practice and accessible anywhere

Since I'm a solo practitioner I needed an EHR software that would be able to handle much of the tasks that would normally require a front desk office staff member, such as patient scheduling and office check-in procedures. It's been very helpful that patients can schedule themselves online, through a link on my website, and can check themselves in as well once they arrive at my office. It's also been great to be able to log into the software from anywhere, using a tablet or even my phone, to check my patient schedule etc. whenever I need to be out of the office during office hours. I would say overall one of the best things about the software for me has been the ability to use it from anywhere and from any device and that doing so is relatively smooth. Since the software is straightforward and streamlined and doesn't have too much bloated and unnecessary features, it runs quite fast and you wouldn't even know that it was on online web-based system due to how quickly the pages load, as long as you have a decent internet connection.

PROS

The software is quite intuitive and easy to use if you have a decent grasp of general computing and how to navigate menus. In fact there was no training included at all when I first began using the system, because it isn't really needed as long as you are a little computer-savvy. The software has built-in patient online self scheduling which automatically populates and syncs with the patient schedule on my end, as well as the option to have the patient self check-in on a tablet when they arrive at my office, both very useful features since I'm a solo practitioner. I also like the ability to check my patient schedule from anywhere using my phone, since the system is web-based and syncs across all the devices I use to access it, whether I'm at the office, at home, or out and about. There are a good amount of options, clickable boxes, and pulldown menus to help streamline the note-taking process. The SOAP note sections by default have clickable fields that cover most of the musculoskeletal type issues that a patient may be experiencing as well as text boxes to type your own detailed notes as needed. I have not yet made use of the dictation feature so I cannot speak to how accurate that is. You also have the option to copy forward sections of a previous note into a new note, as applicable and warranted, and create custom templates for routinely used sections. Also the customer support has been quite helpful and quick to act whenever I did have issues with the software.

CONS

Some features are not easily customizable on the fly but may possibly be updated per your needs by contacting the support team and requesting changes be made. There were also initially some bugs and glitches in the software when I first began using it, but many of these have been addressed through updates and contacting the support staff, who have generally been quite responsive and helpful.

Reason for choosing zHealth

Based on my understanding at the time I was reviewing all these software products, ChiroTouch seemed like it was somewhat more convoluted than I needed, more expensive, and not cloud based so I would only be able to access the software from my office. Jane App would have been a good option for my needs but it didn't have a patient self check-in feature as far as I could tell.

zHealthEHR

Z Health was willing to listen and work with what was needed for my particular office. They can customize the program to each offices needs. There were some glitches when they first started, however Z Health was very professional to work with on the corrections.

PROS

I can dictate on this software, and it is very easy and simple to use. You don't have to go through dozens of screens to get to the final results. I also enter all of the charges while I am doing the soap and print out the HCFA at the same time. Everything is billed out the same day.

CONS

I would like to be able to list more chief complaints given by the patient. Six is not enough for an auto practice. I would like to see more detailed aging report.

Other programs were very difficult to use, I couldn't dictate directly into the patients notes, The billing and posting of payments was very difficult, and rebilling was also terrible. For the cost and ease of this program it out performs any other program I have used or looked at in the past.

This EHR is NOT for Acupuncturists and the customer service is challenging to work with

Zhealth's EHR Customer service has been the worst that I have experienced as a practitioner for over 52 years. The sales team lies to sell you on the product and fails to deliver. The Customer Service Rep/ Manager has no consideration or regard for the client's needs and has been full of excuses. It has been extremely exhausting and challenging to work with Zhealth and the customer service ... For example, they failed to provide acupuncture templates for 6 - 8 months, and we were stuck using chiropractic templates. The billing and scheduling systems have glitches ... customer service team is slow to resolve issues or never addresses them. I encourage you to save your time and money and find a better company to partner with... these guys are a sham and a scam! We recently integrated with Jane EHR and the experience has been wonderful. A much better platform and Jane's customer service is solution oriented with a smile.

ZHEALTH EHR for Chiropractors

2 hours into setup we realized this is not going to work for our practice even though they kept saying it is customizable. When we gave them what we needed they said they could not do it with this system. So we would be paying $400/month and have to use our old system to create the narratives for our attorney network which means twice the work!!!!! Once we realized we politely said this system won't work for us. We spoke to several different people they all stated that was not their decision and they did not know WHO would handle our request. It took them an additional week and half to send and email stating they would not let us our of a year long contract and $400 month for wasting 2 hours of their time. Everyone was great during the selling process but once we needed help because we were unhappy they all acting like it was not their problem.

PROS

When they sold us we were told over and over that it was completely customizable. IT is not . When we sent our intake forms they told us it would take them 3 or 4 months to even get these into their system. It would never do the narratives we need for our attorneys. The final report with impairment is the most important report to us because we give this to attorney for them provide settlement.

CONS

IT IS NOT COMPLETELY Customizable!!!!!! The staff disappeared once they realized we had a problem. It will also take a long time in setup. They will schedule you setup time 1 hour at time 1x week. We wasted 2 hours on the schedule. So the setup will be ALOT longer than you think.

Because the sold me with completely customizable!!!! I made them aware that we do personal Injury and do not take major med. We are about 50.50 PI to cash. This system is way to expensive for a cash practice and does not do what a PI practice needs done.

We were trying to have one system that did all that we need. ZHEALTH says they can do that but they can't if you are doing impairment ratings and reports for attorneys.

Worth Every Penny

zHealth has made my membership based practice run so smoothly. The search bar at the top of the home page has the answer and step by step screenshot procedure for ANY questions you may have.

PROS

After searching high and low for an EHR that fit my practice, I stumbled upon zHealth. I was sold after out demo call. Its affordable, user friendly, and simple. It also gives the option to have membership based practice, which I could not find anywhere else for such a great value/price. Customer support is the best I've seen anywhere.

CONS

For future versions, I would suggest family profiles and the ability to use one credit card for an entire family on memberships.

Easy to use software that gets the job done and is not expensive

Overall, it has been easy to use. Billing is fast and easy and ERA's are entered swiftly and accurately automatically. Customer service is amazing--if you do have a problem, you call and a developer answers the phone (or calls you right back). They are very responsive.

PROS

I like its ease of use for me and my patients. It's easy for patients to schedule on-line and they get text and email appointment reminders. The software is easy to learn from the start, so my staff and I didn't have to spend hours of training to use it. I can complete a soap note and invoice and send off the bill to insurance in less than a minute.

CONS

I find the exam forms are cumbersome to use: to complete inspection, palpation, ortho, neuro exam of cervical spine, I have to click on each one and a separate drop-down window with lots of boxes appears. I've developed a work-around but I'm sure it could and will be simplified. The notes do not print well, meaning, they take up way too much room on a page--one note often occupying more than one page. It wastes a lot of paper when I do have to print notes. I can't easily bill multiple visits on a CMS 1500 claim form, which I have to do for certain insurances.

Great Chiropractic Medicine EHR!

I have saved a significant amount of money from the previous EHR system. Zhealth has been wonderful for my business!

The easiest program to use!

PROS

I really enjoy using zHealth for our everyday appointments , it is super simple to navigate if you don't understand a function they offer tutorial videos that really help and if not they reply fairly fast.

CONS

The only thing I would enjoy if they appointments could be set at 15 minute increments.

Save massive amounts of time!

I have been using this zHealth for over 3 years and really enjoy how functional it is. I'm very thankful that I made the switch to using them.

PROS

I love that this software is customizable. My SOAP notes and intake paperwork are specific to my practice which has made charting so much easier and faster.

CONS

I've had difficulty getting secondary insurance billing to process properly.

Great choice for our small business!

PROS

This is a great company that provides a great product that is constantly evolving for the better. The developers take into consideration your recommendations and it is fairly easy to adopt.

CONS

As with any software company there’s a bit of a learning curve but it is normal with any change. In the beginning it took a long time to enter notes but once I got used to the interface it became quite a time saver.

Great software

PROS

Zhealth is very user friendly and easy to navigate through. The support staff and his team are extremely helpful and answers questions immediately.

CONS

"Unable to change templates yourself (done by owner/support still customizable).

zHealth better than EPIC

It is better than the other systems I have used.

PROS

The features I like is the built in conversation.

CONS

The reports could use more attention. More reports need to be added along customized reporting.

5 Stars!!!!

The support staff and his team are extremely helpful and ALWAYS answers questions immediately and helps with data and info. He helps me run reports when I need them and also advises when updates are being done tot he system regularly. Zhealth is a software that is up to date and the team is continuously making strides to make the program even more efficient.

PROS

Ease of use with the patient tabs and info, etc. can add in. It’s whenever necessary easily. Patient info is easily accessible.

CONS

Sometimes the information doesn’t get saved. But it could be our lack of being computer savvy.
