We shopped for 18 months and looked at about 20+ EMR programs. I can personally tell you, the more we use the SuiteMed IMS solution, the more we love it.

Training for the system went very smoothly for everyone in the office, and they were very organized when giving us the training. The support team is very friendly and helpful.

There are some defects of commands and data extraction.

Since going live we have not slowed down our patient care at all, we are seeing an increase in production in all areas of the office and we are able to manage the cash flow with ease.

Reports- Simple Date should be used- So many Actual dates, Deposit date, Posting Date, Etc. Is confusing to have a unique record for Posting of charges, Cash and AR reports too.

This system is a biller's dream as well with the customization available that makes billing multiple providers/multiple fee schedules with ease. The team was great to work with and very knowledgeable.

There are basic features that are missing and many glitches.

I definitely recommend IMS. Things can be changed in the system to help make it specific to your office's needs, and you are able to accomplish everything you need to do in one system.

Made surgery scheduling easier with simplicity and works well because of many integrations with other systems.

NovaPACS has helped us maintain a good working relationship with our referring physicians, especially their ability to download the reports the same or next day for their patients.

Forget about editing any information on a study with a lot of images like CT/MRI because it will take over 20 min and most times comes back with an error and you have to start over.

HL7 integration is one of the most important features I like with the product, it gives us seamless communication between different vendors enterprise.

Any service issues that come up from time to time are handled very quickly, and it is always easy to get a hold of the technical staff by phone.

Both for our own patients and opinion referrals. With good connectivity, all diagnostics can be accurately reviewed anywhere with a mobile phone, tablet or laptops.

NovaPACS is a great software/system that is very user-friendly.

We were unbenounced to me still functioning with a clinical server verses a hospital server. This caused a crash at the most inappropriate time.

Novarad as a company is worrying about too many things outside of their main product ie 3d goggles, xray panels, qr code readers.

The only complaint we get from our remote uses is that it is only used on Internet Explorer and many have Chrome as their default browser.

The CD images are burned in a format that isn't compatible with a lot of other PACS systems and I get to hear those complaints regularly from other facilities.

The Service team does a great job helping you get problems resolved in a quick and timely manner.

We have excellent support from a local company when needed. We have several workstations, used every day, and they meet our needs for reading our rural sites.

Integration is good with Nova Product which is important.

Notifications about updates/bugs. If you are not on their portal regularly you may miss something.
