Good system for quasi end to end monitoring of radio access network

Great system. Very helpful. Good price for the value

PROS

I love possibility to integrate new monitoring entities in automatic way. We have thousends of such points to monitor so this is a key feature. Also we export counters to our monitoring system so this system help us to create vendor agnostic monitoring platform

CONS

looks like management system is not so user friendly, but I don't use it frequently so it is just impression

Performances Tools

With this tool, we manage to solved the transport operational issue, capacity issue and performance issue on our network which is this tools as an indicator to troubleshoot the problem occurred in our network

PROS

The best performance tools that has been using to monitor our network such as packet loss latency and jitter. It is easy to use and very friendly user. With this tools, analysis can be done daily and weekly with the data provided

CONS

At this moment, this tools very satisfied. Maybe can added automated analytics.

Overall good product to measure ethernet/IP performance

Good product with some improvements and with additional features the product has the potential to become a leader in the market

The ease of configuring the responder through Pulscore.The ease of installing the pulscore and patch them.The nice graphical real time view of the stats and historical performance calculations.Ability to drill down to every minute from the monthly report.The swagger tool to integrate with OSS

CONS

The map function could have been integrated within Pulscore rather than a separate application which is quite difficult to integrate with existing systems.The refresh function within the stats collection doesn't work always.When we upgrade the sender firmware the status is not known to user.

Swiss-army knife for network monitoring

PROS

PULSCore system gives us detailed insight into the performance of our network. With PULSCore, we are able to spot even the short-lived issues, due to 10ms probing interval. Important feature is source port randomization, which ensures ECMP link sets coverage. The measurements are presented in a clean, readable dashboard. The Creanord team was helpful and responsive, so the deployment process was smooth.

CONS

The user interface contains many options which might be a bit intimidating at first sight. It takes some time to understand the workflow and various knobs. There is some room to improve the UI, but I'd consider these minor things.

PULScore Funcionality

Currently this software help us in our optimization troubleshooting process and during 6 months experience we manage to improve packet loss and latency in our network which previously we are not able to monitor in certain area.

PROS

One of the tools that we use for our daily troubleshooting, and as indicator for us to find any problem or issues on our network especially for packet loss and latency. This software where will pointed to the site that we need to know the problem and it will show graph trending. From that trending we will know whether it is congested and any other issue that caused problem on our network.

CONS

As for now, this software is friendly user and easy to use, maybe can improve on smoothness and can reduced time when to pull data in excel. Integration with existing apps went smooth during the deployment.

Is a very stable and reliable solution.Our needs and opinions as customers is always listened and consideredREST APIs responds perfectly

CONS

The test flow are not always unified in the UI , they are divided per controller.The controllers managment is limited from the UI, you must always ssh and use cli for basic troubleshooting for example

Accurate monitoring

PROS

We have been using other tools for many years and found pulscore and the associated hardware to be much more accurate and easy to use. We love the easy administration and we have hundreds of probes in use that makes managing this with pulscore almost effortless.

CONS

We would love to see improvements in the PULScore UI with new flat html and improved charts.

Hardware based time stamping of data versus old method of NTP based time stampping.

Previous software was EOL'ed

Network and cloud connectivity monitoring

We are using it for monitoring our own network, reselling as a service to customers and troubleshooting.

PROS

Excellent monthly SLA reporting, with broad range of very high grade measurements.

CONS

Slightly cumbersome to set up, not trivial to do without support. Possibly this has been enhanced in newer versions.

Reason for choosing PULScore

Price and performance both vastly superior! High accuracy on measurements and great reporting, especially monthly reporting.

Great network performance monitoring software

PROS

The most valuable part of PULScore is how easy it is to work with. Map views and drill-downs help to understand the network situation fast.

CONS

More seamless transitions between features of the software are definitely something that can improve the tool even further.
