I recommend Trello over Planner to colleagues.

Planner is intuitive, robust, and deeply connected and integrated with Microsoft 365.

There is a lack of way of dividing activities into steps and setting deadlines.

It does have limits in the enterprise tier we have. The most annoying is that we can't tag team members in the comments of tasks and we can't create sub-tasks within it.

MS Planner is fully integrated into the Office365 suite. Next to this, adding items is very fast and easy to do because of the low amount of required fields.

It did not cost anything extra. I like being able to bring tasks and items from multiple places into a single place where I can organize my work.

With the right Microsoft 365 package, this is a great tool at a great price.

Overall, this is another solid Microsoft tool and helps teams stay more organized.

Microsoft Planner is a good tool for planning among teams, keeping track of ongoing projects that are multilayered. It's easy to use and is integrated with other Microsoft apps.

This integration makes it easy to share files and collaborate with others on projects seamlessly.

The toll is fantastic and can be use in all areas, my team is using it and the participation in broad since the integration with teams is perfect.

Microsoft Planner is a nice addition to the Microsoft Suite but as a Mac user I find the interface can be cumbersome. The cost of purchasing an additional platform outweighs any inherent benefit.

The most frustrating aspect of Planner is the lack of a public view of the board and tasks. Only members of the team can follow progress.

Microsoft Planner is easy to use and easy to deploy as well. The planner is linked with office 365 which means the user does not have to log into office again.

This product is easy to use and great for everyday task management. It’s also good for collaboration between coworkers as well.

There are some core missing features. You can't see all tasks by person assigned, and you can't see all tasks assigned to a team across multiple plans.

Regarding this app, there are few things I dislike.

This software like I stated previously is very simple and easy to use which what I like the most about this software.

It has a very intuitive interface to create Gantt diagrams and define a collaborative environment to assign tasks to the team and track work load in real time. Completely integrated with MS Teams.

I have many small business clients, ran by over-stressed small business owners who only use their phones, and only have time to take in limited amounts of information. This app is useless on mobile.

The best part about this app is that it can be integrated with Microsoft Teams, which makes it pretty easy to use and very convenient to play around with.

But not great for team collaboration and projects. I know MS has a separate tool they like to upsell to but we were really hoping this would have some more basic task features.

Neglects their entire target market. Quite useless, in the true sense of the word.

Few features on content management: No text formatting, impossible to identify collaborators in the comment, no drag and drop for files, no preview for images.

Frequent issues with lost updates and such, especially on other browsers than Microsoft Edge.

It's definitely love and hate. It's great for short-term tasks and reminders.

I often use Planner for my Programs and projects, including personal. It is an excellent option for Microsoft users to improve the way of tracking their tasks.

It helps identify if a team member is overloaded since the user can see across the board of all team members.

The company i work for has it integrated into teams and it makes everything convenient and in one place. A decent project management tool that is easy to navigate and provides a good user experience.

Perhaps the only negative thing is that only team members can participate in the task, that can make it somewhat uncomfortable.

The planner is principally great because it's native to Microsoft. Especially in MS Teams, it's super to manage single tasks.

The service is easily available as it's part of Office 365 subscriptions. It integrates fairly well with other Microsoft services and does fulfill the basic task management needs.

I like that the system is accessible on any device. The design is straightforward to use and is moderately feature rich.

I like how Planner is able to be customized to the project being working on with buckets and theming. It is also nice to assign tasks to others, knowing they will get alerts.

Super simple to use and with a good range of functionality, Planner is a light project management tool that is an important part of the Office 365 suite.

I find the interface refreshing in comparison to other apps because I appreciate its simplicity and user friendliness so I enjoy using it.

For statuses, they're not customizable and the pre-established statuses are too limited. For notifications, they are half of the time very slow to be received in mailbox, up to 30 minutes delay.

The poor integration with most of the third-party tools.

That it is really user friendly; never heard of Ravetree until I began working at The Bookkeeper. Wonderful tool to track and prioritize tasks.

All employees can access up to date content in one simple place. Good visual representation of information.

The interface is very rich and intuitive, offers a clear and precise overview of the different results obtained. A free trial version is also available to enhance the user experience.

Ravetree feels like the perfect blend of being universal enough for the masses and customized for the individual peculiarities of a mid-market full-service advertising agency of 35 people (i.e. us).

At the time of this review, there was no public API, which for us is a deal-breaker.

Responsiveness of support team & customization. I love logging time to my timesheet directly from the kanban board.

In addition, Customer rep has consistently delivered the human element of a technology/subscription delivery and made it feel like we were a priority at each at every turn.

What Ravetree has going for it is management of the project along with progress against budget.

The lack of stability and the appalling support.

Ease of use and ability to ramp other team members easily.

User friendliness and ability to pinpoint projects easily and time associated with each. I also like being able to transition ownership based on the stage of the project.

It also has a pretty intuitive user experience. The kanban board is a useful feature and I like being able to see how many billable and non-billable hours I'm logging each day.

My overall experience with Ravetree is that What I could say is that the software is highly recommended, it has so many useful features for businesses.

Sometimes, getting alerts can be difficult. If you miss an email, you may miss an update or a tag in Ravetree.

It's a mystery why that aspect of PM is so neglected by many other apps.

The comment section of RT is where I spend most of my time. I love the ability to comment and tag people directly in a conversation.

I have trouble finding tasks that I have marked complete. If i don't know the specific name it's hard to find them.

The ability to upload file versions within the same upload and select which version you'd like to view. This keeps project files/uploads organized and helps us to easier find and look at versions.
