Great for detailed time tracking

This has been so useful in tracking time spent on grant-funded work, and it has helped us gain an understanding of exactly what each program area costs us in payroll.

PROS

I really like that there are two layers of tracking, by project and task. These are fully customizable, so "projects" can be more broad or more specific - whatever you need for your organization.

CONS

Because of the way we track time (we're a nonprofit), I have to do some massaging to get the information I need from the standard reports.

Capable software that is fit for purpose

Generally positive experience, makes invoicing a breeze. Any issues are dealt with in a reasonable timeframe by support.

PROS

Fundamentally easy to use and set up with a clear route from timesheets to invoicing

CONS

The menu system is a little clunky and I would love the ability to create new tasks from the timesheet page rather than digging through the settings menu to find the project and add a new task. It's not much but it would make a huge difference

Other products were more expensive and had features I didn't need. WeWorked was the closest solution to what I needed.

My previous solution was very time consuming

My experience with WeWorked

Utilize WeWorked to run reports for projects and timekeeping (payroll). Then download and manipulate as needed. When unannounced changes are implemented, it causes a lot of re-work on their customers to then have to adjust their processes. Communication - customer service is critical and needs improvement.

PROS

* It's ease of use is primarily due to limited options.

CONS

* Not available - ad hoc reporting option where you can select the fields you need and customize a report * Approving timesheets and reports are a time-consuming tasks, because WeWorked doesn’t default back to the previous dates ranges. I have to keep going back telling it the same start and end dates, over and over. Just that one simple fix could save a lot of time. * Unannounced changes made to the task area of the screen and are now displaying ALL tasks as Non-Billable however when you select edit it is showing correct as billable. * Better way for customer service to communicate with their customers with upcoming changes they make to their platform

Pros and cons of WW

Quite satisfied, it is an essential tool in our daily work to control the effort management of our employees.

PROS

Very easy to use, both as a normal user that submits timesheets and as reviewer of timesheets. Projects are cleated quickly and "clone" functionality is extremely useful to avoid repeating tasks structure.

CONS

- Every week I submit timesheets with more than 10 projects, being some of them repeated weekly. It would be nice to be able to work on a monthly timesheet in order to add project rows in the timesheet just once. Editing a timesheet requires a lot of time. - Possibility to delete projects and tasks, not only "archive". - More report options, for instance I miss a more generic report of a project with only hours information per task (without detailing the persons). - It would be great to have Weworked integrated with external business intelligence tools such as Amazon Quicksight.

Good time tracker

I've only emailed their customer support a few times, but they were responsive with each request.

PROS

The time tracking feature is perfect for my needs. I can create clients, projects for those clients and record my time each day - along with adding notes for each entry. I've attempted to use the invoicing feature. It does work, but the pay online functionality is really basic. It's nice to have it if I need it, but when I've offered it to clients, they've opted to mail me checks as I had to provide a lot of instruction to guide them through it.

CONS

When I signed up, it was very cheap. About a year ago, the price seemed to triple. The product however did not change. So I'm paying a lot more money for exactly the same thing. But as I've stated above, the features it does offer are suitable for my needs.

It had exactly the features I was seeking without a lot of extra bloat. It's really simple to figure out and for that reason I like using it.

WeWorked Worked!

Taking billable and non billable consultant time for our small management consultancy.

PROS

We have been using it for years now and it does exactly what we need it to do, which is be a cloud based, access anywhere solution for our people to use to track their time. Or need are pretty basic - we need to track time by consultant and by client (with some consultants working for more than one client) and by project (with some clients having more than one project), and it does the job. We even have consultants with multiple projects across multiple clients, and WeWorked does the job insofar as capturing time, and producing the reports I need for invoicing, etc. It does what we need it to do, and if your needs are similar, I would highly recommend

CONS

I wish it had an integration with QuickBooks to make invoicing easier, but it doesn't and that is that. Nothing is perfect.

Reasons for switching to WeWorked

Because we know there had to be something better than trying to do all this crap with Excel spreasheets.

PROS

We love this affordable program. It enables us to create reports that help us in our invoicing every month. We also can use it to analyze the time spent on certain projects and then we can know whether we are charging our clients the appropriate amount.

CONS

I would like the ability to copy my previous timesheet to the next week even after I have submitted my time.

Expensive

it's good, but expensive for what I need.

PROS

Pro looking invoices. I could tabulate my hours withing a time frame. I could have different clients.

CONS

Waaaaaaaaay too expensive. Spreadsheets are free from Microsoft and Google. When I bought this product, it used to be ~$24/year. Now it is over $100 for the exact same thing.

at the time of purchase, it was good value. Now the price increase makes it too expensive.

I like the ease of use from setting up admin to end-user, I like the speed of use, I like the reports, and the leave booking functions.

CONS

We could use it to enhance our work and time management but not sure how those elements work, like tracking a project.

Flexible, affordable and easy to use!

As a small business, WeWorked has been a reliable partner for more than 7 years. I highly recommend it for anyone that does project-based work!

PROS

The application is easy to set up and easy to use for employees. I've had between 2 and 10 users at any given time, and all of them have been able to jump in, get started, and accurately track and report project time.

CONS

The project archival feature is a little tricky, but aside from that, I can't think of anything.

Overall, everyone within our company has really enjoyed WeWorked.

PROS

The thing I liked most about WeWorked was the amount of time it saves us as a company doing payroll. We can print off all employees time and expenses in any type of report we want (daily,monthly,quarterly, etc).

CONS

Th one feature I think WeWorked could add would be a more efficient way to put in reoccurring expenses. For example mileage, I drive the same amount every day and have to type in a report everyday. I should be able to set up a automatic generating report.

I manage 2-6 interns a year around the country and they submit monthly invoices. I needed a system where they could track their time and then submit invoices.

Ease of use and ability to make invoices

I don't like checking to exclude the 0s.

WeWorked Review

It's a distinct improvement over paper timesheets, and fairly easy to use. I like the leave approval feature. Reporting options are very limited, and can not be filtered the way I want without extra payment.

PROS

It's easy for employees to use, and tracks leave balances well.

CONS

Printing time sheets is EXTREMELY cumbersome. We should be able to select the time sheets we want and print as a batch.

Works - easy and straightforward

This is an invaluable tool for my business and saves me hours and hours of time.

PROS

I love the ability to customise the projects etc and also the simplicity of the product

CONS

Would be good if it could integrate with Quickbooks UK (currently only works with US). Also would be good if you could default the timesheet to the last entered day and not the week you are in.

It was once all we needed

PROS

It's easy to set up and produce invoices based upon timesheet data. When I enrolled as a user it was only $1.99/month, and well worth it.

CONS

The price has gone up for features that I don't use. The GUI is hard to navigate and to read. The APIs into Quickbooks never functioned properly.

Good For Tracking Hours

It's easy to log and track ours for our employees working on multiple projects and tasks, and the online version is free

CONS

Easy time tracking softward

PROS

We used WeWorked for a few years. It is pretty barebones but gave us exactly what we needed. We could drill down on specific projects, record time off easily...it made a huge improvement over tracking with and Excel spreadsheet. It was inexpensive and customer service was always helpful.

CONS

Limited number of reports we could access.

Works but could be easier

It's better than filling out paper forms still!

PROS

We can log hours for different types of work that we're doing, if that applies.

CONS

I wish there was a default option selected for main hours, to not have to choose that every time. Entering the hours via the phone app is a PAIN though, because you have to select the example (0.00) and delete the zeroes in order to add your hours. Otherwise, it will enter 0.08 rather than 8 (if you're putting in 8 hours for a day). Also when there is a holiday, I wish you could actually note the holiday hours rather than them being blocked off. I get why they're blocked off, but they don't show in the total at the end of the week, so if you have a week with one holiday, it looks like you're only submitting 32 hours that week.

Easy way for a small company to track hours

I don't really have any cons- when I had a need for reporting that I couldn't figure out, tech support told me how to do it.
