Great market data!

Overall I've enjoyed it better than others!

PROS

I love the dedicated customer support! When I found Beyond they were not in my market area yet, but within a week they emailed me to say they had added my market! So I tried the trial and liked it enough to add my card info and now I'm a proud paying customer!

CONS

I have trouble navigating the website from my mobile.

Reasons for switching to Beyond

I wasn't feeling like pricelabs was providing much to me, except confusions!

mediocre. Staff is nice and helpful, but results have been extremely disappointing.

PROS

Easy to setup "gap fill" to be able to rent dates the would normally be lost due to nightly minimums. Integrates with Lodgix. Some market place data through insights.

CONS

-Bookings fell off by over 50% once Beyond came online. -Far over charges for properties. -So far has resulted in less bookings, shorter stays, less lead time on bookings. ---All of this is in contrast to my 16 years of experience. Airbnb & VRBO account managers tell me I'm behind competitors in my area by nearly 40%. Airbnb says they see 96 days lead time for reservations and VRBO is 132 days lead time for reservations. But yet Beyond tells me to expect a 53 day lead time for reservations. This is contrary to Airbnb, VRBO and my 16 years of experience. -Terms used in Beyond are confusing. (Base price vs min price vs max price) -Booking reviews go away after 7 days. This is just stupid. Why can't I have access to these indefinitely? Being a small business, with only 3 people, I need time to even review these let alone, research, & assess.

I can't say enough good things!

PROS

Beyond Pricing has saved me so much time and increased my revenue that I recommend it every chance I get. It's user friendly and easy to set parameters to your listings.

CONS

Unfortunately, I had a little trouble when I added Hostfully as my property management software to connect my accounts correctly but after contacting support they helped me get it all correct!

They seemed like the best choice for being in a event driven area because it looked at the hotels and comparable Airbnb units pricing and occupancy rates

Beyond Pricing Makes Me Money

I recommend Beyond Pricing to everyone I can. The tool is extremely valuable, and I know I'm making more money and spending less time managing prices than I would be if I were doing it all manually.

PROS

Managing pricing for my vacation rental sounds like it could be a daunting task when taking into account all the variables that can impact the price; however, Beyond Pricing makes it very easy. I love the fact that you just manage your base price and it adjusts everything from there. I've already made a lot more money using Beyond Pricing to get me the optimal rate than I've spent on the product.

CONS

Figuring out my base price was a bit difficult. I used the Nearby Listings to see what would be a good base price to start with, but I found that the base price it was showing me of other listings resulted in prices that were way too high. I ended up adjusting it down and slowly built it up the price as bookings came in. I also found that the base price that seemed to work well in the popular months was too low for the slower months as they booked up well before 30 days out. The data it gives is really helpful and will help me get the optimal rate for the slower months next year.

Based on my research and just seeing the products, Beyond Pricing seemed to be the best. It cost a little more but is definitely worth it to me.

Easy to Use- Great Occupancy Rates

I like this product and how easy it is to use. All of the features and information are extremely helpful.

PROS

I like the dynamic pricing and the accuracy of rates. My occupancy stays over 85% and Beyond saves me so much time in making that happen.

CONS

The cost is really hard for me to handle. I have a lot of properties and what I pay out to Beyond really hurts.

Tip of the iceberg

We use Beyond mainly for dynamic pricing but we know there are several features we are yet to fully utilize but feel we will be able to in time.

PROS

The dynamic pricing tool works well for what we use it for. We have over 30 listings soon to be 40 before the end of the year and it has helped us stay competitive and capitalize as many bookings as possible.

CONS

The calendar navigation is a bit tedious but recently saw they are making changes to help with that. Looking forward to seeing those changes.

PROS

The most impactful feature is how easy it easy to connect to the different accounts and set up the prices.

CONS

It would be perfect if they added a feature that would allow for price to sync in different platforms, with a % differential for each one

Great Product to Dynamically Price

Works great for my needs. It delivers enough of a revenue boost to well justify the cost.

PROS

Beyond Pricing is just that...it's a superior alternative to Airbnb SmartPricing. Beyond Pricing works on the behalf of hosts...not the platform. This productive definitely increased my nightly rate. It integrates pricing from more sources than the OTAs.

CONS

Beyond Pricing continues to improve and they regularly add features. They aren't every market, and some markets are geographically broad. You can set it and forget it with your high season. I've found the pricing then to be very accurate. In the off season I feel like seasonality can be so hyper-local that it doesn't perform quite as well there. They recently added functionality to blanket discount over their predicted price for dates you set...I'm hoping that helps with some of the seasonality issues.

Looked at Wheelhouse and a few others. Beyond Pricing was more in line with where I am right now.

Great For Pricing

PROS

Pricing was the most important factor in making the decision to purchase Beyond.

CONS

I really liked the comps section that was part of the program when I bought it but when it was taken away and forced to upgrade for it, it has actually made me start looking at another product.

TOTALLY UNRECOMMENDABLE SOFTWARE

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND TOTALLY UNRECOMMENDABLE SOFTWARE COMPANY

PROS

We have absolutely no pros for BeyondPricing. After an approximately 6-month use, we were informed by our PMS (a very popular PMS) that it no longer supported any integration with BeyondPricing. Upon addressing the issue directly with BeyondPricing, its management team vehemently denied such issue with the integration. Therefore, we were left without any revenue management software, and had to research and go again through the extensive effort to integrate an alternative revenue management software to our PMS to support our revenue management program. At the least, BeyondPricing could have informed us of the termination of their integration with our PMS.

CONS

On top of denying that its integration with our PMS had been terminated (by the PMS), BeyondPricing FRAUDULENTLY took a last payment of over $2,000 from our credit card and refused to reimbursed it even though BeyondPricing was in breach of contract for not being able to provide the service.

Reasons for switching to Beyond

Because we were left without any revenue management software, and had to research and go again through the extensive effort to integrate an alternative revenue management software called WHEELHOUSE to our PMS to support our revenue management program.

it has been an incredible path over the 3 years im working with you. i deffinetly will keep working with you for more ime

PROS

i like that i can control the prices, minum price of my bookings. i started to use one time you come at cancun rental vacation expo so right now i have more than 5 properties and i always connected to beyond. of course there are some competitors who charge less but what i see is the value of the product and how increase of bookings i have .

CONS

sometimes is the price, but i know the value that it has over the tecnologhy so i sticked at it. i would like more improvement on the information on demand

Can't live without it!

Our rep at Beyond Pricing is the ABSOLUTE best! We love the guy and truly appreciate his authenticity and the way he brings us along on the reason for pricing decisions. Very real, honest and trustworthy.

PROS

The fact that they have 'managed services'. Dynamic pricing is an art. These guys are gurus. We requested managed services when it was new and dramatically increased our revenues. It took the emotion out of the tactical pricing strategy.

CONS

Pricing is an art. It's not easy. If they didn't have managed services, I'm not sure we would have stayed. We LOVE our account rep and highly recommend the managed services

Best in class pricing automation software

I've been using Beyond Pricing for my own rental properties and been impressed by its effectiveness in driving up our rental revenue. Managing prices has become a key components of running a succesful vacation rental business and putting this task on autopilot is also a huge relief, given the complexity and the overburdening nature of the task. Took our bookings through the roof!

PROS

The daily rates of the bookings have helped our investors to be able to maximize their profitability while limiting the vacancy time frames. They allow you to give last minute booking discounts and other incentives to be able to maximize on the profitability across the board! This has all been done while saving me time and allowing me to be able to continue to grow our business. There are no more long hours evaluating the rate bands and ensuring that they are correct for every unit.

CONS

We brought on a unit outside of the market area and at first they did not have any data to work with but then they were able to put it all together!

Good service, perfect to start when you do not know the market well

CONS

I find the pricing to be a bit out of market sometimes, I wish it would adjust more often, when we don't fill the hotel, to pick up more last minute bookings.
