The most effective tool for generating word-of-mouth

At last, a tool provider that successfully addresses all the challenges associated with integrating a referral program in B2B. They offer easy integration, a great user experience, effortless payouts, and handle all necessary KYC requirements.

PROS

Based on our experience, you feel that Cello is a team of highly skilled professionals with extensive expertise in facilitating growth. During our initial call, they impressed us by flawlessly simulating the referral widget in our tool, resulting in a visually great output. Furthermore, their onboarding process was pretty well streamlined, and the CS and product team provided great support. Their developer documentation was also very sophisticated.

CONS

There is some manual effort required to generate payment reports for Cello, at least in our setup.

After utilizing Cello for several weeks, I am genuinely impressed by the progress the team has made within this brief span. One aspect that particularly captures my attention is the remarkable speed of onboarding. Merely a few hours after signing up, we were able to dive right into using it. This epitomizes the essence of growth experiments. Moreover, the experience for referrers is exceptional. The platform is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, allowing our users to effortlessly navigate, refer others, keep track of their activities, and efficiently receive their rewards.

CONS

PROS

You can start using Cello for free, and as our business grows, their platform scales with you. Great LTV/CAC ratio from the get-go, and the team at Cello is highly professional. We were impressed by the seamless and speedy integration of the referral widget into our existing stack.

CONS

Sales-led use cases are a hard nut to crack, especially regarding tracking and attribution. But Cello has the right ideas and model in place. Looking forward to more sales-led features (e.g. incl. sales people in the loop)

The best referral tool on the market

We had used another third-party product prior to cello for our referral program. Since changing to cello, the impact has been night and day: we are generating referrals and ARR consistently, and paying out rewards are easier than ever. We attribute the change in results to the clean UI and UX, an amazing analytics dashboard, and the sharing options that cello enables.

CONS

There are small elements of UI customisation that would be 'nice to have' in the future. But the experience is smooth and slick, so we are happy with the current experience as well.

When dealing with larger companies, it's essential to have a referral partner that is fully compliant. Cello places a strong emphasis on data privacy and compliance with GDPR regulations, even providing its users with guidance on how to handle revenue generated through referrals. In my experience, Cello is the easiest referral program to use.

PROS

When using Cello, you not only have access to an easy-to-use platform but also feel as though you're working with genuine B2B growth experts. With a smart recurring rewards system to incentivize individuals and a G2M strategy that includes continuous experiments, Cello is dedicated to helping you get the most out of your referral program.

CONS

Although not yet fully self-serve, the integration process only requires a small amount of developer capability (1-2 days). Due to this requirement, we have decided to postpone the integration until next quarter.

P2P referral has never been easier

A user-friendly peer-to-peer referral software that integrates the referral widget within your tool without requiring users to leave for sign-up is now available. Our users have positively received Cello's embedded widget.

PROS

Since starting to use Cello, I've found the platform to be incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. The option to share via QR-code is especially helpful for mobile sharing through apps like WhatsApp or Slack. The customer success and growth teams have been excellent in providing support and helping us get set up with the software.

CONS

To increase user engagement, it would be beneficial for Cello to implement email notifications in addition to the current in-widget notifications for the latest rewards. The Cello team has mentioned that this feature is on their roadmap.

Upcoming big player in the user-led growth business

Using referral programs to activate users is a no-brainer. Yes, but existing tools are too enterprise yet. Cello is an easy-to-use tool, that doesn't require to much work to integrate and that has a reasonable and scalable pricing model.

PROS

You feel like you are an early adopter of an upcoming big player in the user-led growth business. From the first touch in the demo, the overall experience was great with the Cello team. We loved above all the simplicity of the widget - highly recommended!

CONS

It is reduced to the most important features, so some more reward options would be amazing. But it delivers the promise. Looking forward to what is coming next.
