No integration to on premise TFS, but just migrated to Azure DevOps Services so no longer a problem

It's helping me troubleshoot issues with my application without my having to implement my own log view experience.

It targets .NET, and it has a great online portal for examining logs. There's also very good personal-level service.

Due to a plethora of configuration options and specific use cases, it's a bit hard to nail down the ideal configuration for my exact situation. So for example, I'm currently not able to capture the http context user name in my Blazor app, and I would like that.

While the application has met all our needs, I wanted to comment on the customer support offered by Elmah.io. It has been outstanding and [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has been really great to work with. It feels like we had many hoops to jump through on our side and [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was there ready to answer any questions our teams had to ensure we could approve the implementation of the software.

The ability to see our bugs before users report them has been extremely useful to our development team. Instead of waiting on users to report issues, Elmah.io has helped us detect these beforehand and deploy fixes. Additionally, it was extremely easy to setup and integrate into our custom built applications.

None at this time, it meets all of our business needs.

We were able to move our existing, on-premise elmah setup toelamh.io with a single web config change. We had multiple queues setup to allow easier tracking of errors. Support is fast and very knowledgeable.

Some of the config pages are not super self-explanatory, but we were able to quickly work through them.

Cloud error logging is quick to implement and works great

When there is a complaint, it is the first place I go to figure out what went wrong.

It is amazingly simple to setup. It captures data immediately without delay. It provides stack trace data as well as context data (with little work). It allows you to slice thru data from any perspective very easily.

Organization of overall dashboard and left menu could be a little cleaner.

StoryBuilder is a free open-source (FOSS) education-oriented app which runs on Windows 10/11 desktops. elmah.io gives us cloud-based remote error logging, is easy to use, and has great reporting. Since we're an open-source product, elmah.io's free license is an outstanding opportunity.

elmah.io's API requires a key, and that's a secret. We've discovered that managing secrets from desktop apps is a little tricker than it is for websites with their controlled locations.
