The advantage of the system is that anyone can work with it, because it will not even have to be understood. The admin panel is convenient and intuitive.

It didn't take me long to be able to use it effectively, and there is excellent documentation available. I can transfer a normal MODX site to a different server and domain name in about 15 minutes.

I love CMS MODX for its beautiful, thoughtful and ergonomic design, as well as for the high speed of FTP. Every element of the control system is needed.

This can be an obstacle if you have been using another CMS for a long time.

In CMS MODX, I like the presence of an integrated SEO module.

The core MODX programmers and very responsive to requests and are actively updating, debugging, and adding new features all the time. MODX is the most secure platform I've tried.

In this CMS, I like that the application does not overload the server, it has an intuitive interface.

If you choose an improper, unsuitable hosting, you will have serious problems in the near future.

I've been using MODX for more than 9 years. It is BY FAR the best CMS/CMF that I've EVER used.

The addon library is not massive, and there are certainly some older and outdated, or even abandoned plugins.

It was not difficult to do this, the assistance of third-party programmers was not needed. For several years, we have been using this platform and we were quite pleased with it.

MODX works for everything simple information-only sites to multilingual sites with thousands of pages (I know because I've created these). It has an excellent caching system built-in.

Members of my team who do not have programming skills were not able to fully configure the system on their own. No statistics in your account.

MODX has its own API language for programming, but it's pretty intuitive.

There is a sizable library of plugins — not huge like Wordpress for example, but they are generally well written and secure. The MODX community is a great source of help, tricks, and tips.

Over nine years experience using MODX and would not trade it for the world. We love MODX, the community and stability of the platform.

If you're not a developer (either backend or frontend) you're going to have a hard time.

The platform does not have a high level of protection, being quite vulnerable. In comparison with other CMS, a rather limited number of ready-made templates and plug-ins are provided.

This became a problem for me when I wanted to transfer the old site from another platform. I had to learn syntax from scratch.

Wonderful customer service for set up and install. Seems easy to use and a good way to cut down on all of our paperwork.

The drawback for us is the inability to search across multiple file cabinets and/or have different search parameters for the same file cabinet.

I like that everything is at my fingertips. I can create as many 'electronic' file cabinets as I need to keep organized and able to view, print, fax, email directly from paperwise.

Some of the coverage options are hard to find or are they are placed at the wrong spot so I have to use 'free format.

The ability to recall the different versions is a great feature.

I have always had a great experience with Paperwise, their support team is awesome (which I have only had to use on a few occasions).

Emails sometimes do not go thru (between uploads/intelligent capture/query). Connection with Quick books services problems.

The fact that it is the most adaptable product on the market for insurance brokerages agencies, with it's APIs integration. Ease of searching for documents.

Easy to store documents and recall them with ease. Access to their API's allows for custom integration with in house ie: custom products.

Since the initial installation/proof of concept at our site, we have increased the business areas who have benefitted from virtual file cabinets.

Query problems reading Quick Books invoices/customer names.

Lack of  new features, lack of development, some core markup software was very old.

Sometimes the software will throw errors and will require some troubleshooting. Most of these errors are easily resolved by repairing/reinstalling the software which only takes about 5 minutes or so.

Very little support call and flexible to use. It's also integrates into our other system with make the usability even better.

Program is great, support is always at your fingertips with great response. Upon acquiring the software, there was a great team that helped implement it and give our staff the training needed.
