Dashboard Metrics and Report Generation Make My Job Easy
I really like the customer service experience I've had here. I'm very new to YouTube from a marketing standpoint, and Sprout gave me a lot of resources to learn.
PROSI work in marketing and report to professionals who don't have as much marketing expertise as me. Having a dashboard view of the social media statistics really helps me explain and analyze the significance of changes.
CONSThe software itself is tough to navigate. Things change around a lot, and that makes it difficult if you present metrics on screen share.

It is the easiest option for me to generate reports.

Dashboard metrics, budget of company was significant enough to use it.

Makes Social Media Management so Easy!
It's been a great experience so far. They also have a great support team that you can work with to ensure that you're utilizing all of the platform features as best as you can. For teams who struggle to plan and manage their social accounts, I highly recommend Sprout Social. The platform also can help you uncover trends for future planning too!
PROSNo one has the time to sit there and individually schedule out social posts so that's where Sprout Social comes into play! We purchased this software to help us plan and manage our organic social media calendar easily. They also can integrate with paid ads, but that's not something we use it for. I love that you can see a calendar of upcoming posts so I can see if there are any gaps in our calendar. Sprout Social also has very robust reporting for each platform and it has allowed me to have deeper insights into how our accounts and posts are doing. It's been a big lifesaver. Prior to this, I would always forget to post so this has made it easier to make a plan!
CONSThe platform is kind of pricey, especially as you add on more licenses. You can't create any custom reports. However, they have a lot of robust reports so I imagine you don't need to. We haven't needed to yet.
Reason for choosing Sprout Social
When I trialed HootSuite, the platform seemed more complex than Sprout Social and had less reporting capabilities at the time. I believe HootSuite might be a bit cheaper though

Good, but needs improvement.
I appreciate the quick response to problems I have. Also your blog is top notch.
PROSIn concept, I really enjoy the publishing feature that assigns certain posts on certain days and hours. However, there are a LOT of tiny things that can be fixed which reduces the overall value of this feature. The "ideal times to post" is a great feature but I've noticed that some "high peak" times do not garner the results I expected.
CONSThe LinkedIn post feature is pretty limited. I CONSTANTLY get error messages that the app cannot tag names. Also, I cannot tag individual people within the app (OnLinkedin), so I have to "assign post" in order for the final post to have the names I want tagged, OR edit the post after it's published. Huge no-no. Again, this defeats the purpose of the app, as it's more hands-on than I want it to be. The same with Instagram. I haaate that I have to assign a post if it's multiple images. The reason I wanted this app was to be as hands-off as possible. I understand that it may be a Facebook/Instagram issue, but it's just annoying. Also, the emoji list has yet to be updated, even after various suggestions to update. I end up having to use my "emoji keyboard" to insert the missing emoji's in your app, which defeats the purpose of a social media app.

I really loved my experience at Sprout Social
I've been using Sprout Social for two years, and overall, it's been a very positive experience. I found that the powerful features, ease of use, and excellent customer support made Sprout Social a valuable social media management tool. I particularly benefited from the following features in Sprout Social: Automated Scheduling: Automated scheduling has helped me save time and effort and ensure that my content reaches my target audience at the right time
PROSOverall, I think Sprout Social is a powerful tool that can help businesses and organizations manage social media more efficiently and effectively.
CONSThere is nothing strong negative about it. He may need to increase the limited advantages that exist in social networking.
