### Most mentioned pros

- Google cloud is something that is running daily in the back ground to store all my data and keep all my photos and videos and memories.
- Google Cloud is an excellent platform for organizations that need scalable infrastructure, advanced analytics, AI capabilities, and collaborative document management.
- My overall experience with Google Cloud has been positive, as it offers reliable performance, scalable infrastructure, and a wide range of services that make it efficient for building and managing applications.

### Most mentioned cons

- Lack of documentation and the guidance for different types of reviews and certifications, especially for the yearly stuff being channelled to third party evaluators who are not eager to collaborate.
- Furthermore, if you do not set up strict budget alerts from the very beginning, the bill can bring very unpleasant surprises in the event of a sudden traffic spike or poorly managed resources.
- However, once the technology is mastered, the use of this platform implies a significant risk of increasing costs due to high traffic and the computational power of the servers.

#### Pros

Google Cloud offers a strong set of cloud services for data engineering, analytics, AI, and application development. I especially like BigQuery for large-scale data analytics, the integration between services, and the flexibility of tools like Cloud Storage and Vertex AI. The platform also scales well as workloads grow.

#### Cons

The number of services and configuration options can be overwhelming at first. Managing costs can also require careful monitoring, especially when running large-scale data processing or compute workloads.

### Secure platform and various options.

- Overall rating: 5/5
- Reviewer: Eric P.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Leisure, Travel & Tourism

It has provided us with a reliable platform for handling our travel business. It has the flexibility and features required and has helped in maintaining the organization in multiple teams. It is certainly a dependable option, but it does not come without its learning curve, particularly for smaller teams who don't have a lot of time to set it up, thanks to less robust data management tools. Overall, it’s been worth the investment for our business.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

It has proven to be reliable when it comes to meeting our data requirements. As an ERP Supervisor, I am thankful for the option to scale resources, during our busy travel season, where we manage an influx of bookings. The data insight tools also enable us to easily analyze traveler patterns, which is helpful to make quick adjustments to our packages. The ability to access from any device is an added benefit to my team.

#### Cons

The pricing can become somewhat complicated to forecast. Scalability is nice but when usage suddenly surges it's difficult to figure out the cost. I believe that some of the configuration settings could have more detailed guidance, too. It took us some additional time to get a few things up and running between the old and the new cloud environment.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 3/5

#### Pros

I like Google Cloud because it's reliable and gives me access to a lot of useful tools in one place. I can store files, manage projects, and use different cloud services without needing multiple platforms. It's also easy to access from anywhere with an internet connection, and I like that it integrates well with other Google products I already use.

#### Cons

One thing I don't like about Google Cloud is that it can feel confusing at first because there are so many different services and settings. Some features have a learning curve, and it's easy to get overwhelmed if you're new to the platform. It can also be difficult to figure out pricing for certain services, so I wish it was a little more straightforward.

I've had a solid overall experience with Google Cloud, using it regularly for various projects. It's been reliable and efficient, with a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to navigate and manage resources. However, I've encountered some occasional issues with scalability, which prevents me from giving it a full 5-star rating.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Google Cloud's scalability and flexibility are pretty solid. We've been using it for about a year and a half now, and it's worked well enough for our needs. The integration with Google Drive is seamless, and the pricing model is fair.

#### Cons

Not a huge deal, but the documentation could be better. Sometimes it takes a bit to figure out what's going on, especially with the more advanced features. Also, the UI can be a bit cluttered at times.

I've relied on GCP as a formidable tool in my tool bag for at least the last 5 years and often pitch it to clients just getting into cloud. It's been incredibly reliable and does well at maintaining parity with out cloud solutions...despite the occasional billing snafu!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The platform as a whole really shines, but I really did enjoy Compute Engine 100% because of how simple it was to scale apps effortlessly. I also enjoy how easy Kubernetes Engine made deploying containers and scaling up existing deployments. There's so many knobs and buttons the customization options are limitless. I was really impressed the first time I set up a client in GPC that had stringent security requirements. I was able to adjust VPC networks and IAM settings to match the requirements without breaking into the documentation. Mobile access is available and handy for keeping an eye on resources from anywhere.

#### Cons

The biggest downside (and this isn't a GPC issue so much as a cloud issue) is the various fees that seem to find their way onto an invoice without much explanation, I'm looking at you egress fees. The second dislike was how sometimes it was difficult to get support right away, sometimes at slow times you can wait a little while before an agent becomes available which can slowdown time to resolution.

#### Reasons for choosing Google Cloud

We didn't choose one over the other, we are multi-cloud and have mirrored deployments with different vendors.

A profound sense of technological power and security. Knowing that my applications rely on the exact same infrastructure as the giants of the web gives me the ultimate certainty that my systems will never crash, no matter the workload.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

When I needed to step up my game to store data, run heavy analysis, or host web services, I turned to Google Cloud. What impresses me the most is the sheer speed and stability of the infrastructure. The management console has incredible technical depth, offering AI and data analytics tools of unmatched power. I deeply appreciate the flexibility of the services: I only pay for exactly what I consume down to the second, which allows my projects to scale at the precise pace of my actual needs.

#### Cons

This is a tool reserved for the initiated. The learning curve is extremely steep, and I must admit I spent many hours digging through technical documentation just to understand the architecture. Without solid development skills or the help of an engineer, it is easy to make serious configuration mistakes. Furthermore, if you do not set up strict budget alerts from the very beginning, the bill can bring very unpleasant surprises in the event of a sudden traffic spike or poorly managed resources.
