The most significant benefit of Momentum QMS is the ability to consolidate all assigned tasks and action items into a single system, regardless of their originating workflow.

The only downside is that key users may need some time to learn how to fully utilize the high configurability of the system.

Administrator training was  provided allowing us to customise the system ourselves. Support from the Momentum “help” and personnel is available where changes are out of the scope of our ability.

The attempt to get the system deployed in our own infrastructure was terrible.

Moreover, we are in the process of implementing additional modules such as complaints, CAPA, Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and others.

A wide range of modules allows for a staged implementation starting with core modules with a view to expand in the future.

One drawback of Momentum QMS is its limited development capabilities. For example you cannot copy and paste large portions of a workflow to implement them in a new workflow.

Absolutely no customization to tailor to your organization. No email reminders if you have overdue actions pending, you’ll have to look at the database daily.

No email notifications if an item goes past due. You can only disply the entire reports that are overdue.

Intuitive, friendly user interface, the well thought out connections from one module to another. The fact that each module is included and not ala carte is a HUGE benefit.

I had myself and one other person approving a risk and the other approver approved the risk and I could not make any changes. I had to delete the entire risk action and start over.

No filtering of overdue items in perato analysis. You can filter: Open Items, Closed, Rejected, Submitted and deleted but nothing to tell you if an item is past due.

The workflow is easy to understand and it is nice that most of the modules are interconnected.

This really helps helps with implementation, and ease of use. I appreciate the stops built into the system to ensure important aspects are included in these records.
