Automation of emails necessary for companies and for those who are starting to market
Overall experience with the tool is very good, it was helpful in all aspects I needed. Of course, a free plan always has limitations, but the paid plan also presented some points that in my work model were essential. But it is still an extraordinary and well-recognized tool. I know a lot of people who use it and don't give up. I still recommend it to many entrepreneurs who are starting out in online sales. Mailchimp is worth it. If you need, make a quote and call the service and you will be very well attended.
PROSMailChimp appeared to me by chance, And I chose to use it for my work. A great option for those just starting out or for small, medium or large companies that need to automate contact with their customers. Pluses: It's totally intuitive and has a top-notch layout. It caught my attention when I created some Landing Pages and came across several models. Totally free. Totally accurate and timely email sequence. Another positive point is the number of users that we can store in the free plan, up to 2ooo contacts, this for those starting out is even too much. The tools are multi-channel, essential for any service. In other words, a complete and articulated tool to meet any and all online ventures, whether affiliated companies or e-commerce. Whether consulting a plan or making a budget, support and service are accurate and attentive. intuitive tool; excellent usability; great cost / benefit; very good delivery rate; lots of free features (A/B testing, email automation and integrations) good educational content.
CONSIt really is great marketing software though, even there is automation, The features are basic; tool all in English and it is not possible to create landing pages optimized for a higher return. You don't have the ability to manage a sales funnel, just trigger a broadcast if you need to send an offer. However, it is still useful for any service or company.
Reasons for switching to Mailchimp
Because it was too expensive to use and there was no version in my language. But it was still very good for my purposes.

Mailchimp is used by almost all of the businesses and organisations I've worked for, from the web
Better visitor retention is one advantage I've noticed from using Mailchimp
PROSI had assumed that adding a newsletter to my website would be a cinch, but my initial experience with a number of email marketing firms was far from satisfactory. When I don't know how many subscribers I'll have or whether the service will satisfy all of my demands, I don't want to commit to a large monthly charge. What I appreciate about Mailchimp—and the reason I ultimately stayed with it—is that it provides a more feature-rich free version than the rivals I tested, with less restrictions on monthly mail limits and a sizable number of subscribers before reaching the threshold for the subscription version. If I concentrate on keeping in touch with my small subscription base, I can eventually expand into the paid version.
CONSI've had very little trouble with Mailchimp. Although the feature support is present, I had some trouble figuring out how to use it because I am a novice user. Of course, Mailchimp is not to blame for that. But I'm sure it would help other inexperienced users if there was a way to make that feature simpler to utilise.

Good to go Marketing Tool
We had to run multiple Sales campaigns simultaneously and it did a good benefit in terms of cost-saving.
PROSIt was easy to integrate LinkedIn Connects and run multiple mailing campaigns.
CONSThe pricing was the biggest concern as it is not at all pocket-friendly.

Streamline Your Email Marketing: Mailchimp is there to help you with minimal to no costs
I've been using Mailchimp for my email marketing campaigns and it's been an incredible asset. It helps me to create automated email sequences, customize my messages to each customer, and track the effectiveness of my campaigns. It's saved me a lot of time and effort with its easy-to-use interface, and I'm able to quickly create professional looking emails for maximum impact.
PROSI really like using MailChimp for my email marketing needs. It's easy to use, and creating campaigns is simple. The software allows me to customize emails very easily and also track the performance of my campaigns in real time. I also appreciate the wide range of features available such as segmentation, A/B testing, automation, and more. Overall, I'm really satisfied with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable email marketing solution.
CONSI found Mailchimp email marketing to be a great tool for managing my customer emails. However, I didn't like that it could be a bit complicated to set up an automated email campaign. I also found the user interface to be a bit cluttered, making it difficult to locate certain features. Even though the software is quite powerful, I found myself wishing for more streamlined navigation.
Reason for choosing Mailchimp
The choice was kinda easy, the costumer already had knowlegde of mailchimp. And the price was a big factor. We tested and looked into the others options but in the end Mailchimp won for the client.
Reasons for switching to Mailchimp
Due to the growing list and also complex automations, but still keeping the costs low we switched to mailchimp from MailPoet

Mailchimp for email marketing in a high-growth organization
Email marketing for a growing organization. Not sure if this application is worthy when there are 10,000 contacts.
PROSEasy campaigns set up, great support team, good UI. The campaign analysis, reporting, and A/B testing are great features and are worth our price.
CONSIt gets pricier when the contacts go up. There is a tiny Mailchimp banner at the bottom for a free tier.

An excellent platform for independent email marketing
To be honest, I feel overwhelmed by the capabilities of this platform. It surpasses my expectations with the sheer amount of features available. It's difficult to put into words just how comprehensive this platform is, making it an ideal tool for managing a business. My team and I are extremely satisfied with the platform, as our top priority is ensuring customer satisfaction, and this platform enables us to do so in an exceptional manner.
CONSI have been using this platform effectively for some time now and have not encountered any issues so far. Therefore, I would like to give this software a positive review.

Mailchimp is a great tool for managing email marketing and anyone can use it.
Mailchimp has helped keep me connected with clients and potential clients through email. It is an easy tool to learn, anyone can use it.
PROSThis is a very easy product to use. Mailchimp has greatly helped my clients' businesses and is a great marketing tool, especially with online magazines and blogs that we manage. I highly recommend it. I had never done any kind of email marketing, and using Mailchimp was a piece of cake; very easy to pick up and learn fast.
CONSI don't like that I can't change or resize images. I have to do that using another program and waste more time.

Worth it for any company starting out
I love the interface - once I got to know what was possible it became very easy to create what I wanted. I feel like it makes a big difference in how we're perceived by our community. I also personally like the irreverence - the graphics and cute sayings make marketing a little more fun.
PROSI love that it's free for the first 2000 names - makes it easy to try the product over time. I switched from Constant Contact and was looking for something more affordable for our needs as a new, volunteer-based non-profit. I also love the ease of use. It's pretty simple to figure out and whatever questions I've had have been answered by the help documents.
CONSI wish that Mailchimp more easily integrated with my ticketing software (OvationTix.) I tried to merge data but it's not intuitive so I have ended up not using that feature. I'm not sure if that's an issue on the side of Mailchimp or OvationTix, so it doesn't affect my overall enjoyment and opinion of the software. I also deal with a lot of email going into spam, even though I've followed all of the rules and avoid filter triggering phrases in my subject lines. I guess I wish there were more support in that area.
Reason for choosing Mailchimp
We decided to use Mailchimp primarily because of the price structure. We have less than 500 names and it seemed silly not to try Mailchimp.
Reasons for switching to Mailchimp
We didn't feel we were getting more value for the price point than we would get from Mailchimp.

Using Mailchimp to enhance our customer journey
Used Mailchimp for a few years - switched to it from Constant Contact (and loved the change), switched from it to Exact Target (and didn't like it at all). Now back into the fold, but at a new business. First usage - B2B communication with a few thousand contacts, really happy with how it worked, reporting could have been more robust, but for our needs it was ok. Second usage - B2C communication with some thousands of contacts - and growing - via a e-shop interface. Like it so far, colleagues also happy with its functionality and ease of usage compared to previous solutions.
PROSEasy to use and intuitive for the average user Integrates well with our pre-existing ecommerce solution Developments over the last few years (have been using it since 2010-ish at a previous job) are very well thought through and customer centric
CONSWYSIWYG... at times. As long as what you want to do (visually) is close to its idea of what things should look like, it's great - if you need something further from the visuals/format it expects, results might vary. Initial integration with PrestaShop was a little wonky - still not sure whether it was a PrestaShop or a Mailchimp issue, will update the review once we have it fully figured out
Reason for choosing Mailchimp
Ease of usage, cost.

Mailchimp is the 'go to' platform
Overall, my experience with Mailchimp is great. Even though they change things periodically, they do have very extensive documentation that will 9 out of 10 times answer your questions by doing a small amount of research. There's lots of help guides out there as well and because Mailchimp's userbase is so large, it's not hard getting the info needed either directly from Mailchimp or supporting communities.
PROSI've used Mailchimp for years and have found it's very easily integrated into most website platforms. Not only is it just a newsletter platform, it serves many different functions. It's effective at building mailing lists generated from your website's opt-in forms, gives plenty of options to customize your newsletter templates for both standard emails, ecommerce based emails, and dynamic emails. They have an array of tools that allows you to heavily customize anything you need.
CONSThe things I like least about Mailchimp are how frequently they change the backend usability. Over the past year I've noticed some menu areas have changed or been renamed and it causes confusion for not only myself but my clients as well.
Reason for choosing Mailchimp
I chose Mailchimp over alternative platforms because I had some clients who used to use those other platforms and they didn't hold up to the power Mailchimp provided even in their beginning phases. I've been with Mailchimp for quite a long time and know the ins and outs to almost every aspect of their platform. Because of this, I usually will educate my clients why going with Mailchimp is a better solution and have switched many over to utilize all that Mailchimp offers and so far, it's been working beyond expectations.

Free for the first 250,000 subscribers no cost - must have a mailing address
Positive experience sending emails and letters but you need to have a mailing address a real physical address a po box doesnt count. I guess hoping people do not come to your house is a big deal. I was very scared about having a real location and I was scared random people would show up as they did before at offices to stalk. I guess at this current timene place it's safer to use your real address but many years ago it was not or may not have been. It is important to make sure all your ducks are in a row- your corporation is current for example, the po box or the mailing address is current for example mine wasn't and I saw peoplel at the post office that i would rather not see.
PROSMailchimp is pretty easy to use and has increased its features in the last few yeqrs. The first 150,000 to 250,000 subscribers are free and then you pay after so it gives you time to build your fan base. When I used old emails I got reports for using old emails and it got disbanded so I recommend using current email subscribers so there are no surprises - or make sure they know they are signing up for your newsletter inbox. For example we threw an event and I emailed all subscribers but they did not know we were the organizer it was for working women so most unsubscribed. In hindsight I should have had people subscribe or put on a disclaimer that we would market.
CONSThe fact it's so easy to be taken down if you get one negative report. I guess we got a few negative reports and quickly a lot of unsubscribers the first day we emailed a few hundred people from a tales of extraordinary women event. The problem I gu ess you encounter is how to try and get these customers or clients or readers to read your services that I am still working on ideas for how to get people to sign up.
Reason for choosing Mailchimp
Cost that it was a free product even though the newslettter was not as striking.
Reasons for switching to Mailchimp
Emma created a beautiful design but charged money for each subscription so that is why we moved
