Great Feature Set For Bargain Price
It seems like most reviews are from people who had issues after cancelling their subscriptions. As a current user, I have no experience or feedback to offer regarding that. What I love about Post Planner is the ability to schedule my Facebook, Facebook Groups, and Twitter posts so that only certain types of content go out at certain times AND the posts are then added back to the end of the queue (if you set them to). The only other tool I've seen that does this comes in at a SIGNIFICANTLY higher price point (albeit with more features, but Post Planner is a great option for those of us on a budget!). I also love that I can save my favorite Facebook pages and easily share their content by adding it to my queue directly through Post Planner (doing this manually is a pain, having it within Post Planner is amazing). Maybe they suck when it comes to billing and cancellations, but as far as the actual app goes, I'm very happy with it!
CONSThere can be a bit of a learning curve when it comes to setting up your schedule and maintaining your queue. It's not HARD, per se, but little things get changed easily without realizing it, so you have to know what to be on the lookout for.

Excellent Customer Service & Product
I love Postplanner! It makes my life much easier and it’s very easy to use. The customer service is outstanding! And they are always adding new features and making this program even better! I would recommend Post Planner to anyone that is needing a tool to help them post without having to sit on top of their social media at all times.
PROSI love the ability to create in Canva and be able to upload my ads in the post planner with ease. It is wonderful being able to edit my posts and reuse them by setting up for days or weeks or months. I can create for more than one social media platform at the same time and just make adjustments as needed for them individually. I love being able to use the content for ideas.
CONSThe parts I liked least was that some of the content areas are showing as available are actually empty. Other things that I would have wanted changed they have actually implemented and put into place over the past few months.
Reason for choosing Post Planner
I felt that it was a smaller company that would allow more personal customer service, and I wasn’t wrong about the customer service. They are excellent! And today we’re everything is so automated it’s important to be able to get in touch with a real person when you need them. They are very good about getting back the same day, sometimes it’s within minutes. The price was also a big factor.

So many better options - with better service and pricing
We used Post Planner after a recommendation from Kim Garst (who we later learned has vested interest in PP). After 14 months of wasting our time "accepting" the poor performance and useless helpdesk guy (thanks for nothing Scott), we decided to move our account to an alternative that has now worked flawlessly. From our experience, Post Planner are dodgy and with so many useful alternatives, can not in good faith send even my worst enemy to their "service".
PROS- Easy to add account - but it doesn't mean they will be used correctly. - They are great at ripping people off... not a Pro for the consumer, but a pro for them perhaps.
CONSFrom posts never going out on time - or at all, through to being upgraded without permission to plans costing 3x my signup cost.
Vendor Response
Hey Andrew.. Sorry you had a bad experience with the app or confusion about the annual plans renewing per the Terms of Service agreed upon during signup. As mentioned in my replies our annual plans do renew within 90 days of the 12 month anniversary to avoid any lapses due to credit card billing. And at a prorated amount. You were never charged for an upgrade that you didn't agree to, and in fact we gave you the next level plan at no additional cost, saving you about $300. Sorry if that caused any confusion. I looked over all the conversations from you over the year or so you were with us and there was never any indication from you about having problems with the app. If you did have any we would certainly address immediately as we take support requests very seriously and on average reply in less than 15 minutes to inquiries. Yes Kim is a great lady and no she does not have a vested interest in Post Planner. We just have mutual respect for one another. We're working hard over the next 5 months to completely revamp how we find and show users content, adding more social sites to post to as well as a true mobile app, browser extensions, etc. Hopefully you'll come back and give things a try. Sincerely, Scott Ayres

Like having a VA for a fraction of the cost!
Always positive - and I would give TEN stars to the customer service if I could.
PROSManaging several social media platforms is a chore - so I hired it out... but that got expensive. I wanted to bring it in house and found Post Planner to be the perfect solution. I love that I can bring in content that fits my audience and easily schedule out weeks at a time so I can focus on other aspects of my business.
CONSI would love to see a "food" category that brought in popular food-related content. Also, travel would be a great one.
Reason for choosing Post Planner
Ease of huge, price, and have used it before and loved it.
Reasons for switching to Post Planner
I wanted a bigger variety of content to share - CS really only brought in my own. (which was great, but PostPlanner does it too!)

Affordable & User-Friendly
Relatively easy to onboard and maintain; great value for the money; good user interface.
PROSWe've used several social media planning platforms in the past, but -- as a small business -- couldn't keep up with the continually rising costs of other platforms. Post Planner's plans were economical without having to sacrifice some of the more key aspects of functionality that other platforms reserve for their higher cost/enterprise plans.
CONSAdmittedly, we don't utilize the full spectrum of Post Planner's functionality, but for what we do, we have no complaints.
Reason for choosing Post Planner
Better value for money given the functionality/cost ratio

Satisfyingly ease to recommend
I've always been happy with both the product and the customer service, that's why its been be one of my go to tools to recommend for over 5 years!
PROSThe first thing I like about this is how easy it is to share to platforms. You can add so many and time them to go out at your leisure or set them up.
CONSI hated the update to be honest, I personally thought it was more functional and easier to use as before BUT I've adapted and those that come to it now will never know the difference!
Reasons for switching to Post Planner
It was much fiddlier and didn't help me find content in the first place!

A reasonably priced social media scheduler that helps with easily finding and planning content
A reasonably priced social media scheduler that helps with easily finding and planning content and is a time saver for busy people.
PROSPost Planner allows you to source content and plan and schedule posts on to up to 10 profiles (dependent on chosen plan: Starter, Solo or Business) on a schedule to suit your needs. You can easily find, plan and schedule posts to the various profiles, knowing that your social media planning has been easily taken care of. It is easy to set up different queue plans for different profiles and to change the posting schedule if needed. There is also the option to " add to queue" or "share next" or "share now" or "schedule" a post alongside choosing to add to the Planner. Content (video, images or articles) are easily available and can be saved to different streams to add to the posting schedule. Content is either new content, or content that has been provided over the past week or month or more, meaning that past content can easily be shared with your followers. It is also very easy to add your own content to the planner. You can see at a glance your posts and schedule, and it is easy to re-order the posts or recurr posts and this can be viewed per profile or as a group of profiles. It is also very easy to see the history of the posts and what was posted when.Â
CONSThe features and interface/layout seem to change regularly as new features and content is added. This is good from the point of view Post Planner keeps up to date however sometimes it can be difficult to work out the new layout if not used to it. However [SENSITIVE CONTENT] in Customer Support is incredibly helpful and has always resolved any issues as necessary. Plan invoices have to be requested from Customer Support (although this is easy to do). There does not appear to be a notification of upcoming plan renewal either so this needs to be monitored separately.

Post Planner - Living Up To Its Name
Very happy. It has not only helped me manage multiple accounts & twitter handles easily, but has ensured that I reach over a million impressions on a single Twitter handle within a year and a half of its initiation!
PROSLike the ability to create streams of posts (for industries, topics, subjects with Star ratings depending on their popularity). An ideal time saving feature to have popular posts for shares and gain interest within your channel community and grow.
CONSDrag & Drop facility can be improved, specially of posts that can be changed within a day (or across days) and ability of seeing the Time change when moving the post within a day to get an approximate 'fit' for changing the Post.
Reason for choosing Post Planner
At a better price-point for ease and relevance of posts to be garnered for reposts as well as integration with Canva for creation of posts.
Reasons for switching to Post Planner
For easier and meaningful posts curation within shorter time frames.

JUST. STAY. AWAY.
As I said, any positives that Post Planner may have brought to our businesses were outweighed by their lack of transparency when it comes to billing, and their absolute disregard for their customers. We ended up tied down to a platform that we now hated using for another 16 months after our last payment was taken. If you're looking for a social media scheduling platform, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, unless you enjoy giving your money away and being treated like cr*p by customer support.
PROSWe started using Post Planner in 2015 to accelerate my wife's online business and social media reach. Their scheduling features are good. I used it for my own FB and Instagram channels as well, and the ability to quickly find content does add some value to the platform... but their shady billing practices outweigh any positives I can think of.
CONSIt wasn't the app itself that was the issue, but after we had signed up for it, Post Planner did a few changes to their pricing structure that weren't communicated very clearly. We ended up on an annual plan (no complaints there) more expensive than what we'd originally signed up for (some complaints here), and then realized that we had been charged for another year of use, 4 months PRIOR to the plan running out, with no option to cancel or get a refund. Numerous emails to customer support returned the same response that many other users report: "It's in our terms and conditions, so you're s**t out of luck." Not quoted verbatim, but the overall message was very clear - Post Planner prefers to hold on to customers' money than to the customers themselves.

Comprehensive, Consistent, Versatile, and Always Improving
We are very pleased with the overall functionality and ease of use. Perhaps of equal importance, the customer support is top-notch! Response time is often within minutes and always same day. Communication is with people who know the software extremely well, are not only open to suggestions but often request suggestions and input for improvement, and they are quick to fix bugs when they arise. They are also constantly developing new and improved enhancements largely based on customer feedback.
PROSThe reason we started using Post Planner almost exclusively in content management for our own business and for our customers is because of its comprehensive and versatile functionality. Being able to customize each social platform for each profile to post at a particular time or times daily, which days, post only videos or images on certain days of the week, and have the option to recycle posts indefinitely or for a set period of time empowers our business. When I initially setup profiles, I build at least six months of content over the first few days and schedule the posts to recycle. Then each week, I add one or more new posts to the queue. The time that it saves us over a few months compared to other previous software used is of great value!
CONSNone. We are very pleased with the overall functionality and ease of use.

Review of Post Planner
I signed up for Post Planner because it was recommended by a vendor that I have been using for many years. I have had a Post Planner account for over 2 years. I decided to use a marketer to do my marketing so 6 months ago I stopped using Post Planner. I had an annual plan so I knew that I had to wait until my annual subscription was over. So when I got notice to renew and pay for my renewal for next year, I went into the payment portal BEFORE my card was to be charged to cancel. I was under the impression that my account would be cancelled since I cancelled BEFORE renewal. After going back for about TWO weeks I kept being told that that the only time you can CANCEL is within THREE weeks of your original signup. I have NEVER heard of such a thing. So I am FORCED to PAY FOR and NOT USE a service for another year because I did not cancel my annual subscription with 3 weeks of signing up (two years ago). This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Post Planner acknowledged that they received my confirmation of cancellation. When I brought that to their attention, they said it was a TYPO. How can a complete sentence be a TYPO? I am very dissatisfied with their service and would never recommend them at all.
PROSIt was very easy to sign up for Post Planner software.
CONSTheir billing practices are unscrupulous and very unfair. They charge you for services you do not use.

Our best social media scheduler, incredible value for money
It's by far our most helpful and affordable social media scheduling tool. If you want to grow on Facebook, this is absolutely amazing - do NOT miss the "Repeat" feature, it really is the bees' knees!
PROSThe feature I like most is the "Repeat" feature - that way, the content I create isn't lost after being published, but is re-queued after 3 months and can be repurposed again and again and again. I grew my FB Page to over 145K followers with PostPlanner without having a social media manager (all done myself), and I can't stress enough how helpful the "Repeat" feature has been. Other tools also do this, but cost over 100USD per month.
CONSI wish I could also use this for my other social media platforms

Post Planner is limited
Overall experience was just okay. I was hoping Post Planner had more good content, but it was limited which made it very frustrating. It also does not support the big social media platforms that I want to use. If you want to keep it simple, then Post Planner is for you.
PROSWhat I did like about Post Planner was its very easy to use. When you do find content even if it is limited, planning, scheduling and posting was a breeze. You can schedule to release anytime and you can put as many as you like in the queue if you can find something good to post. Options are simply therefore you don’t have to figure out how to use it.
CONSWe’ve been using Post Planner for about 12 months. The software is really simply to use. Features are limited. The articles are not updated, articles are very old. Post Planner also does not support many social media formats. You are allowed to link to 10 or more social media formats except it’s only compatible with two of the top 10 sites. Post Planner did not meet the requirements I was hoping for.

BEWARE - dodgey company charging credit cards with every excuse but not action
We used Post Planner Guru for a year and it provided absolutely no benefit to our postings whatsoever. Further, this company automatically charged our credit card without consent. I requested to CANCEL the subscription and was told that my account name did not match their records (even though I had to be logged in to Post Planner to click CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION???). I am then fed a load of rubbish about my email being ONE day out and they would need to charge me for another full year, quoting some fine print buried in their Terms of Service Agreement. We are a proactive, innovative company using many SaaS providers. This would be BY FAR the worst I've ever dealt with. Customer service is APPAULING - this company is on limited days.
PROSThere was nothing I liked about this software.

Kim, Sorry you've had a bad experience with the app, specifically billing. But our Terms of Service are very clear regarding this and we do adhere to it as any company would. You can read over them again here https://www.postplanner.com/terms Nothing is charged without consent, as it is agreed upon during signup regarding annual plans, and monthly plans. I'd love to help you use the app to the best of my abilities the remainder of your term and help you with a solid posting strategy to help you crush it! Let me know how we can do that. Post Planner asked for a review after a week of ignoring my customer support emails... oh the irony!
Scheduling and recurring post features are nice and the ability to look for trending content has definitely come in handy... but their shady business practices and lack of customer support ruin it all.
CONSTwo years ago, I was grandfathered into their 'Guru' plan with a significant discount. Since then, the company quietly changed their pricing plan and, as others have experienced, charged me double (on an annual plan, as well) what I was paying with no prior notification. My direct messages and email to support went unanswered - from the looks of it, this is very much standard for Post Planner. What's ironic, though, is that every time you open the dashboard, you get at least 3 automated notifications from 'reps' wanting to know how they can help you or offering useful advice. Even more ironic is the fact that I received an email from Post Planner a week after I unsuccessfully tried getting my money back from them - directing me to this page to leave my review. Here it is then: DON'T USE POST PLANNER!
