This product's integration with Microsoft Word is outstanding.

The quintessential software for document automation. One of the best software (if not the best) for this purpose.

Because it is a very established product, with a lot of written guidance and a large user community, it's very easy to work out in advance what can be done and how best to do it.

I also don't like the storage on the local drive. If a user forgets to back up to the server we can lose information and have no record.

The developers sold me on the product and disappeared after purchase.

Works with our Cal Wills and Trusts program wonderfully.

Ease of use with other programs, customer service is very responsive, and documents look professional and clean.

It's great that we can keep all of our companies needed documents on one software that is accessible to everyone at our Firm.

I love the integration with Wealth Counsel and the customization that it allows with the word documents I produce for estate plans.

Now that it is moved to advanced there are many features missing out but the user interface and quality of process has improved to avoid scripting errors.

Don't make such an investment without considering that, in future years, you'll have no guarantee that you'll be able to renew your HotDocs substription on a basis that makes sense.

As noted above, we find it is an extremely powerful document automation tool, which can be used on almost any forms of document.

While a lot of focus is on the actual document creation aspect, we also really like the ability to build organisational compliance and training into the interview questionnaires.

I use HotDocs while using my Trust Funding software.

Beware of entanglement with the new owners of this software. They will suck you into a monthly subscription scheme which is virtually impossible to cancel.

The more time you invest using it, the more you'll appreciate its many features and the better your templates will become.

We are lawyers who specialise in automating documents for other law firms in areas like loan and security documents, share sale agreements, and complex wills and estates.

If you don't use it daily, you have to retrain yourself. I get inscrutable update messages  and am fearful ty try.

It is difficult to understand, difficult to set up, and difficult to work with. I have read the instruction manual, taken the the three day course, and am still having problems with setting it up.

I think HotDocs is THE choice to use when you need to prepare more complex legal documents, particularly in packages.

Navigating the menus can be difficult. However, I use them so infrequently that this may just be a function of my lack of use.

Also recently developed author has many restrictions and lack features which are often used in developer.

Overall, it is a joy once it is set up and works well with other programs.

As it stands, each template is limited to only one component file.

I love how easy it is to find exactly what you are looking for. The best feature is the version control on documents.

With other features like content sales stage mapping, native SalesForce integrations, and the ability to set expiration dates on the content so teams can review and update as needed.

I think that the product has been well designed and despite a few small flaws, it is well worth the investment.

We have had an overall great experience with Seismic. We have bi-weekly calls with our customer success manager who helps us understand different features and answer any questions.

The content library and bulk upload allows us to keep our sales enablement content clean, tagged and current. The integration with Salesforce and Outlook was simple to set up and deploy.

Incredibly hard to navigate compared to competitors.

Content manager can be a bit confusing and overwhelming. Our organization barely scratches the surface on what we can do with content manager so it's features are almost too complex.

I enjoy the accessibility of this software. It is great to find about any article within technology and provides great examples.

It is user friendly, customizable, and support staff is friendly.

I like that it can organize all my companies information in files. You can also share docs with a partner and both edit them which is nice.

The support staff is helpful and the training materials are very accessible and easily consumable. Seismic is a true partner and worth checking out.

Many times the email sent out are blocked by receivers email security. Often kicking email to spam.

In addition, the Seismic support team has been awesome, they are readily accessible and able to handle all of our technical concerns.

The onboarding team has been amazing throughout our journey and we're very happy with the investment we've made - we're set see an amazing return.

Sometimes difficult to find what I am looking for. That could be more of a function on how things are titled.

I know that the information is the most up to date. When I want to find what is the best material we have to send to a customer that is where it will be found.

The problem is that we have no way of knowing today who has downloaded the app and who has not.

Overall the service is pretty good and the product works, I'm just not sure it's a solid enterprise solution.

We use Seismic as a centralized repository for many company documents spanning a variety of different areas of our business. They layout is great and easy to use and navigate through.

The only problem we have had is convincing the more stubborn members of the sales team to switch over from old school attachments.

It's very visual and the tagging and searching work well. It integrates well into Salesforce and content can quickly be downloaded.
