DocuSign Software

DocuSign is a cloud-based electronic signature solution for organizations of all sizes and most industries. The platform can be used to sign various types of documents including business contracts, school permission slips, agreements and approvals.

The dashboard displays the status of all the documents sent for signing. Users can see which stage the document has reached in the signing process and send reminders for pending signatures. DocuSign also enables users to send and sign documents in multiple languages.

DocuSign offers a mobile application for iOS, Android and Windows devices. It is available on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via an online knowledge base and DocuSign's support community.

Simple and Convenient

Each and every time I use this software, I love how simple it is to add a signature, and how I know for sure that I did not miss any signature lines thereby delaying any process by having to have the contract sent back. I also love that I can send and receive contracts digitally and am able to sign or send from my phone and don't forget about sending it back because I was unable to view the document until a later time.

Pros

Very simple to fill out and use, makes it very easy for clients to find what they need to sign so nothing is missed. I also love that all parties involved in the contract have access to the contract at the same time instead of having to track everyone down to get their signatures and prolonging whatever process is waiting on signatures.

Cons

Just the nature of the software, it makes it easy to get everything in the contracts signed but also clients tend to not read through the entire contract. However, it is still very nice, easy, and convenient for clients for all parties involved.

DocuSign Works

Pros

Easy as pie to get documents signed and with the time stamp. Our clients loved the ease and it cut closing time in half.

Cons

Sometimes the link would get blocked or filtered into spam if we sent directly from DocuSign especially with international emails. Also some of our clients didn't like the font of their "signature"

Sign it now or never

Pros

Docusign is the best when you are looking forward to saving time and money. What I like most about it is its possibility for yourself and your customer to sign an agreement, or a contract through Internet. Two years ago, I sent all my contracts through mail, which takes a lot of time and money compared to Docusign !

Cons

I can't manage to find something to complain myself about, this tool is amazing and its effeciveness is something I had not seen anywhere else.

Making document signing simple as it should be!

Every time I use DocuSign I have been able to accomplish my job as quickly as signing an actual document by hand. It has really helped me complete my tasks faster and easier.

Pros

I liked the simplicity and ease of use. Document signing is not a complex thing to do, so this software is proving that it can be simple and easy to sign documents on your computer. No hassle, no need of any additional programs etc.

Cons

Haven't been able to find any downsides by far.

Easy and secure

Negotiating master contracts, AIA contracts and change orders- Docusign makes it a breeze to track changes, review versions , strike through, cloud , notate etc for all parties involved

Pros

I like not having to flag a document in Outlook or another software to track it’s status-
Docusign does all the work with a few clicks!
I also really like the advanced features of setting up templates, being able to select from saved negotiated contracts or other legal documents..and i LOVE that it integrates with Procore

Cons

It was a bit cumbersome in the earlier versions
But as with any software, it’s constantly improving- it’s so easy now

Solid, Not Spectacular

Pros

DocuSign is a quick, simple, and relatively no-nonsense way to generate and manage e-sign documents.

Cons

I ultimately quit using DocuSign in favor of e-sign software that integrated with a proprietary CRM and offered a better suite of features for my needs. DocuSign is good for one specific thing (e-signatures), but doesn’t offer much beyond that.

Got to do it

It was surprisingly easy to use. You can send and manage your documents from their website or keep your own document management process in tack and just use their tools.

Pros

DocuSign will plugin to most business document software and their web based tools for setting things up is really easy to use.

Cons

I really like to keep my security certs and whatnot "On-Site" where we have real control of it. Relying on a 3rd party for that kind of security is a tough pill to swallow.

Docusign makes it easy

There is nothing worse than needing a document signed by a client and not having access to their signature. That is why I choose Docusign. It has come in clutch for me so many times. I will continue to be a loyal customer because of it's invaluable features for my real estate business.

Pros

Easy to use; Secure; Consistent; Reliable

Cons

A little pricey; could have better integration with other software programs such as cloud servers.

Great E-signing- helps push paperless, improves effeciency

Business doesn't need to be held up, I can sign items during lunch or if I am dead stopped in traffic I can use my time wisely and process items due to docusign that I would have had to wait to be back in the office otherwise.

Pros

I love docusign, this has helped save me time as I have so many enrollment paperwork that needs to be signed. In the past I would have to at times wait for someone to print, sign, scan and email/fax back. If they weren't near a printer it took even longer, now with Docsign, it saves time, it saves paper and it also saves my eyes as at times I couldn't make out the name from the signature. Very simple and user friendly as well for anyone who may not be that technical.

Cons

Only downside I have found is some individuals worry about signing something electronically. This can be overcome by explaining that this is more secure as we dont have this paperwork printed now signing laying around in a fax machine etc. Can be a little overwhelming to learn initially due to all of the options.

Great Digital Signing App

Pros

Polished app, works well. Able to use/integrate with a variety of tools.

Cons

No real cons from what I see. It's not the most visually-appealing (vs like Hello Sign), but it gets the job done.

Eliminates Paper

I have used Docusign for tenants to sign rental applications. It worked well

Pros

I like how Docusign eliminates the need for paper; signatures can be made on the compouter which is very convenient.

Cons

This software is more expensive than other options, but this is probably due to name brand recognition.
