Pros

I like the fact that you can login to your account from any device to sign electronically, the signature is legally binding for real estate transactions and your signature is saved so you do not have to sign multiple times -- instead just simply click to approve your signature!

Cons

There is a potential lack of verifying an original document and not accepted for all types of legally binding documents (deeds of trust, etc.).

Pros

- Easy to use, very easy for the person you're sending to
- Offers free trial so you can easily test it out with no obligations

Cons

I did a trial of DocuSign, because I've been on the receiving end of this product and it seemed very simple! I ended up going with Adobe ESign - it just worked better for what I needed. But DocuSign is widely used, very user-friendly, and anyone you send documents to will have no issues using it!

I would recommend DocuSign to anyone, only one recipient has problem using it so far

Pros

Very user-friendly, notification works great, easy to personalize to my specific needs, self-guided process helps recipients complete signing quickly

Cons

Some features need explanation about what they do and what would be marked and what not. I had to test a couple of them by sending documents to myself.

Paperless Document Recognition

Ease-of-use

Value for Money

Pros

DocuSign took the leg work out of getting important paperwork signed and processed, including contracts, time/duty sheets, and contract amendments. The program is incredibly convenient and you will be surprised at how helpful it really is once you start using it. No more faxing over documents and waiting hours or even days for it to be returned with a signature. Use the free trial offered on the website for a taste of the good life.

Cons

The user interface can be a little daunting for people that are not tech savvy and there are not many additional or special feature to note. Also, the pricing is a bit much for what the program can do. You get a good deal if you pay for a full year in advance.

There has to be a better way to get forms more presentable than spending hours to get them perfect. Right now, modifying form fields is too painstaking. Maybe a zoom feature would help or a feature that recognizes lines or boxes on a document and can click in place a fillable field.

Pros

I like the ease of sending a form to an employee. I also appreciate being able to replace a document but it is only easy if the document is already divided into sections.

Cons

Trying to update a form and get the fields exact is very frustrating. As one who wants the fillable fields actually on the line of the document, it takes precision and is not user-friendly trying to be precise.

My company recently began using Docusign for all major contracts (Service Agreements, Franchise Agreements, etc). It has taken the headache out of a normally painful process.

Pros

Docusign is very easy to use, and simplifies the process of completing contracts to a great degree. By increasing turnaround time and cutting out shipping costs, the product pays for itself. Added bonus: positive environmental impact!

Cons

There really aren't many negative aspects I've found utilizing Docusign. I'd imagine that it could influence certain users to speed through a contract without fully reading each section, but that's up to the user.

I love using Docusign. I wish we would have used it sooner. It saves money, reduces our paper and printing costs, and is better for the environment. If your company uses signed documents, you need Docusign. Plus, once the client signs, you have the signed document immediately. No more waiting for it in the mail, or fussing with faxes.

Pros

Docusign saves on paper and printing costs. It makes file storage much easier and more convenient that traditional file storage. Your customers will appreciate the electronic form over paper.

Cons

No cons that I can think of. It will take a little effort to set up your documents, but that's to be expected for any new system.

Great all around product, has everything you need in a digital signing software and is very user friendly and intuitive to use.

Cons

A very efficient way to lend to members when we offer docusign. Allows for members to finish and receive funds from a loan without having to leave their house. This is especially great for members that can't make in to the branch during business hours.

Pros

It's a trusted brand for both us and our clients, that alone makes signing e-contracts easier. It's so simple to upload and input signature fields and saves a us a lot of time by sending to multiple people.

Cons

Quick response and easy storage and retrieval of documents.

Pros

Setting up and loading a document for signing is very easy. Setting up tags for a document is intuitive. A person can sign on just about any device and with a connection.

The ability to audit the signature and storage and retrieval of the documents is fantatic as a person does not need to store all of it in files.

Cons

Anything more complex than setting up signing on a document or signing a document can be messy. SSO is not easy to setup or change, working with connections to other systems is a bit of a headache.

Very useful when you have so many contracts to sign and manage each of them separately

Pros

The interface is user-friendly and everything is manageable. You can see the list of all documents that should be signed, the stages of contract signing and all names who are involved in the process. You can manage each contract separately having the opportunity to send it back with some small notes.

Cons

There are no strong disadvantages of the product but there is a range of substitutional products that could be better in term of the price. Everything depends on the scale of documentation that you have to handle.

It's exceptionally convenient! No one likes reading and signing paperwork, but this makes the process simple and easy.

Pros

I love minimizing paperwork. DocuSign is the epitome of simplifying the paperwork process for our clients. Clients are able to log-in quickly and sign documents with minimal effort.
DocuSign has allowed us to track multiple envelopes of paperwork without extra effort on our part. This also makes it easier to remind clients they have a document to sign.

Cons

One of my biggest complaints with DocuSign is the very steep learning curve faced in the beginning. Creating your first envelope should be fairly simple, and for the most part it is, until you do something wrong...which is inevitable. Sometimes buttons won't function the way you want, so you have to edit the settings on them. The settings are not self-explanatory. It's almost as if you accidentally opened up the "advanced settings" interface on a coding program. The lingo isn't common, there are lots of options about details that don't make sense. I was very confused the first time I had to fix something.
Thankfully, we have a few people familiar with the process. It has taken me close to 6 months to become fluent with the program.

There is only one pro over their competitors in my opinion. They have an integration with Infusionsoft which is our CRM. This is a huge deal and makes automated contract sending incredible.

Cons

This is not necessarily a knock on DocuSign only but a pretty standard complaint with all e-signatures. They are expensive and docusign, in particular, is very clunky. That being said we won't leave them anytime soon because of the integration with Infusionsoft.

Pros

Cons

Sometimes it can be confusing for users who aren't tech savvy to complete the process. "I'm finished" button should be at the bottom of the document to avoid confusion for the end user. Without templates, it is time consuming to add signature/initial blocks to large documents.

It's a great platform for getting documents signed digitally. Really can;t think of another one I've used that has as many needed features, especially when you just need to make the documents in a regular old MS Word template...

Pros

We use this integrated right into Salesforce in order to get our agreements into our customers' hands digitally (via a simply email). The setup is straightforward and integrating it with Salesforce fields and mapping them was actually not as hard as it sounds.

Cons

If you're using it with Salesforce (like we are), then the setup will definitely take a solid day, but after that it's pretty much 'set it and forget it' - does what it's meant to do, no problems.

Reducing the time that it takes to send out forms to receiving a completed forms has been reduced significantly.

Pros

DocuSign is easy to use with a pretty simple user interface. Document creation and submittal is pretty smooth. Clients are able to receive and open with no issues. For the client to complete and submit the documents it is simple and quick.

Cons

I would not mind if DocuSign had an auto remind feature for the recipient. This would be a generic message asking them to either review documents, if they haven't opened the file yet, or remind them to complete the document if the recipients have viewed but not completed the forms.
