Seamless Integrations for Document Signing

Pros

We've used HelloSign for almost two years now after switching from another electronic signature software, and HelloSign has been perfect. Not only do we use it for our internal HR and hiring needs, but we also have HelloSign integrated into our software so that our customers can sign their contracts without any issue. HelloSign offers reminder emails and also sends completed forms to all parties. It's so easy to use and maintain and super customizable. Love it!

Cons

I have never had any issues using HelloSign, but I am not on the team that integrated it into our internal software. I am not sure how technically difficult that was, but we have rarely encounter bugs.

Reasons for Switching to HelloSign

We were using DocuSign, but HelloSign was a much more competitive price and offered the integrations we needed.

Exceptional. No more printing and mailing for signatures.. Worth every penny.

Pros

Hellosign is extremely user friendly, we have team members who aren't great with technology and even they didn't have any issues working with Hellosign.

Cons

It doesn't have options for blue ink as a signature. In the middle east where we operate, some organisations require signature in blue ink. I did suggest this feature but I guess it is still being considered. Some features such as having the option to remove the document ID and separating the audit trail is only available if you go for the business plan. Which wasn't the issue for us since we required more users but if u need less than 5 users then that may be a thing for you to consider.

Reasons for Choosing HelloSign

More user friendly. I was responsible for choosing a product which everyone in the team regardless of how good they are with technology will be able to use. Hellosign was just that.

Easy, but missing essential functions.

Overall, for the cost, this product is great. If I need additional functionality, I'll pay the additional cost for another product. But, this does basically all the things I need for a fraction of the cost.

Pros

HelloSign is extremely easy to use. There's basically no training required. It's all straightforward. Items can be required or optional. Text fields, signatures, initials, etc., can be added by drag and drop. Templates can be created from any document. It's also very low cost compared to similar products.

Cons

We use HelloSign through Brokermint for real estate brokerage transactions. I wasn't able to save an e-sign document draft, then come back to finish it later. I had to either complete the document or lose it. There isn't a strike through feature, as is common with these products, so the workaround is to insert a text box over existing text and use underscores to strike it. I'm required to add a signer to every document, even if it's myself, but sometimes I just want to add a textbox and save it without needing a signature. Also, as an admin, I wanted the ability to access documents of users, but I don't think that's possible. I was only able to access documents to which I was the creator or a signer.

Reasons for Switching to HelloSign

We made the switch for the cost savings and because HelloSign is included in our subscription to Brokermint. It covers the basics and doesn't have that price tag.

Best way to go paperless

Fantastic.

Pros

Since HelloSign is also developed by the same company as Dropbox their integration is flawless. This is the way to go paperless and a great tool during this difficult pandemic time.

Cons

The limited amount of templates for the paid version.

HelloSign is a perfect tool for documents eSignature

HelloSign helps me a lot on the legal aspect of my business because it allows me to sign contracts with international customers, I just have to send the contract to their email and collect the signed documents instantly and this saves me from a lot of hassle that I would have to deal with if I wasn’t using hellosign. The dashboard is also super useful because I can track which documents are completed and which ones aren’t signed yet.

Pros

HelloSign is an easy to use tool and it’s also mobile-friendly, it allows me to save a lot of time by using my pre-saved templates whenever I'm onboarding a new client and because I don’t waste time on getting the contract ready I usually have my clients sign the contract while we’re still on the onboarding call so we can get the legal documents out of the way and start as soon as possible.

Cons

Unfortunately, hellosign can’t integrate with payments processors like Stripe and PayPal so it’s not possible to collect payments from customers as they sign the contract.
