Excellent evolving alternative for DocuSign

Getting new hires to sign their NDA and other contracts. Sending contracts for approval to 2 or 3 signers. It sends the email to the 1st signer, and only after he/she has signed, it sends the next fields blank to the 3rd signer. At the end, all parties get a copy. Pretty neat for the price! Overall, the whole product is awesome. There are some clunky aspects that are getting ironed out but WAYY worth it for the price tag compared to others.

Pros

What I love most about Signaturely is the number of users I get. For a fraction of what DocuSign charges. The deployment is super easy and intuitive. If you have ever shared a Google doc with someone, you will be able to send contracts and consent forms for signature. On their public roadmap, they have 80+ requests for a single fillable document template. You can host the form online in a private or password-protected page on your website, and then any user can go to the same link and submit the form. I'm super excited about this since it will make disclosure agreements and consent forms so much easier than manually duplicating a template and sending it out to each signer via email. Also looking forward to HIPAA compliance that has also been heavily requested on their public roadmap. It's also less clutterd (but that means less features) than DocuSign and other apps out there. The whole goal is simplicity and they did very well keeping that in mind for users who don't need a million tricks, they just need to get stuff signed without printing and without hold ups waiting for 2nd and 3rd signers.

Cons

The branding in emails is not pretty. But they have on their roadmap to greatly minimize this apparently in 2021. I trust their roadmap because they have been SUPER responsive to other feature requests. A bit lagging with the fields editor, kinda clunky. I wish the fields would kinda align with line grid or something. I submitted the feedback and hope it will be addressed in their roadmap.

Reasons for Choosing Signaturely

The price obviously. I don't need that many features for my use case as others charge for $45/mo.

It needs work but I think its eventually going to be great

Signaturely is much easier to use than other similar e-signature tools. It's also a joy to use apart from when wanting to prefill a document. I believe that Signaturely still needs some work but in the not so distance future this product could be really great.

Pros

I love the Signaturely UI. It's really nice to use and its nice and spaced out. The pricing is also really reasonable compared to competitors. It really is a joy to use this platform compared to the many others I have used.

Cons

Its missing some basic features other platforms have like automatic cloud storage back-ups, the ability to prefill documents before they are sent, without pre-filling documents it makes it a real pain to reuse documents/templates. If they sorted these 2 issues I really think they would be on par with the big players in the e-signature industry.

Reasons for Choosing Signaturely

Mostly it was down to price but also the UI. Eversign's was on par actually, I was very tempted to go with Eversign over these but in the end due to price I went with these.

Reasons for Switching to Signaturely

I hated the UI of SignNow, it was always extremely confusing what things did, in the past 12 months they have improved this but its still not great. I feel SignNow is starting to aim themselves more at large companies now and not SMEs.

A good tool to make legal stuff frictionless

Seamless. And very happy so far.

Pros

It is very easy to use and set-up. In under 2 minutes you can start signing documents and uploading your own contracts.

Cons

This is not related to the software, but some people still prefer to print things. For me that's the problem.

Reasons for Choosing Signaturely

Easier and cheaper. For me it makes more sense.

Needs Some Improvement

Overall my experience has been good other than the annoyances I mentioned in the Cons section. But I can overlook those because I have a lifetime deal from AppSumo. I wouldn't overlook these things if I was paying monthly. However, I haven't needed to contact support or anything like that. The system all works just fine with no issues other than what I mentioned in the Cons section.

Pros

I purchased a lifetime deal of Signaturely through AppSumo and if it weren't for that I honestly wouldn't be using it. I do like the ease of use of the platform overall, the ability to save templates and quickly send them to clients is great. This helps speed up our on boarding process and makes it very easy for clients to get the paperwork out of the way which is huge because our clients are typically business owners and have little to no time for this kind of thing. The ability to save templates and create a signing order is also a big deal. We offer a lot of different services so with the signing order I'm able to send it to myself first, fill out the monthly fees, scope of work, etc. and then send it to the client and also allows me an extra chance to catch any mistakes before it goes to the client.

Cons

Overall this app is just like any other I've used, simple, easy, no worries. What makes it not worth the money for me is, 1. I was using Eversign before and that was $10/month for the basic paid plan (they also had a free plan) and it does everything Signaturely does (and more) but Signaturely is $20/month and you can only have 1 template vs 3 with Eversign for example. 2. Signaturely has some glitches and formatting issues. This is the biggest one for me that makes it annoying to use and why I ultimately wouldn't recommend it. When preparing a document to send you can insert the different items onto the document such as date, text field, signature, etc. but with a normal sized text document the boxes are actually too big and end up looking weird and are hard to place on the lines of the document unless your text is pretty large. 3. The other formatting issue is when you have a large text field. For example we use a text field to enter scope of work which in some cases is quite a lot of text (nearly a whole page of text to enter) and it is very hard to format it to look right. For example when I copy and paste text into the text field if I try to edit the last sentence every time I type a character or space it takes the curser to the very beginning. So I can only type one letter at a time and have to click back to where I was. Very annoying. So ultimately with the price and annoyances like that I can't recommend this just yet to anyone.

Reasons for Choosing Signaturely

Only because Im not paying monthly Eversign beats Signaturely hands down in my opinion.

Reasons for Switching to Signaturely

I only switched because I have a single payment lifetime deal from AppSumo. If I had to pay monthly I wouldn't have switched.

Great alternative to Docusign and Hellosign

Overall my experience with Signaturely has been extremely positive. Some have complained about Signaturely's branding presence on emails and such, but I think it's fine/reasonable. That being said, it would be nice, when a client accesses the document for signature, for the page to reflect my firm logo vs. Signaturely. None of this takes away from my overall happiness with Signaturely.

Pros

I really love the simplicity of this software and that I can use it for when only I need to sign something, or when i need others to sign something too. I also love being able to upload my own docs and easily make changes to where I need fields located. Being able to send clients the document via email OR just a standalone link is a great option and makes it easy for when emails "get lost." I also like that you get notified when the document you sent is viewed by the recipient. I love that I can save reused docs as a template so I don't have to upload a new document every time I need a signature, especially when the document is always the same.

Cons

I don't like that the Audit Trail is included all the time. There are some cases where I just need to sign something and I don't need an audit trail to accompany it and it's frustrating that it cannot be optional. It's also a little confusing to me when I sign a document myself, the app says a copy is being emailed to me, but it isn't actually emailed. I'd love a CNAME option so that when you do send a document to a client, it comes from your customized domain vs. Signaturely's

Reasons for Choosing Signaturely

I chose Signaturely because of the price and the features. Everything aligned with what I needed and still does. I'm very happy with my choce.
