I'm saving per year over my old email marketing software, and I get the same if not more functionality.
It's very easy to create forms, subscriber lists, and automation sequences. Also, unlike some other email platforms, is that one subscriber is counted as only one subscriber, regardless of how many lists he may belong to. Other platforms count the same person as a separate subscriber for each separate list they belong to. And of course I love that it's free for the first 1000 people on your list. This is a real plus for new businesses who are just starting out and don't have an income stream yet.
You can't customize your forms as granularly as I'd like to. For example, you can't upload your own fonts and the available fonts are limited. Also you can't add custom CSS to your pages.

The customer service aims to help you understand what you are doing and why you are doing it. There is ease in sending a weekly newsletter to my list, just as there is ease in setting up autoresponders for a funnel.
Every marketer says you have to have a list, so I have tried quite a few programs to deliver content and grow my list...this has never felt like fun to me because the other platforms are clunky and make the process more complicated than it needs to be. Mailerlite has definitely learned from their competition's platforms.

A good basic email service that could be a good starting point for those new to email marketing.
I liked that the dashboard is simple to use. It was easy to set up my lists and get started. The editor is a good basic editor. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but it can be a good fit for those just getting started with email marketing.
I had issues with deliverability, even with a small list (less than 100). Although customer service was responsive, we were unable to resolve the issue. Delivery would change for the same email address, and we couldn't find a solution.
They have a really nice price and features. Every month they roll out a new feature that puts them closer to the big player, aka mailchimp.
They keep improving and launching new feature and the price has been the same since forever. Completely honest and amazing support.
They cut my email marketing cost in half and kept most of the important features I was looking for.
I would like to see more payment options (paypal) and more personalization tools. Also, every upgrade requires an approval from the support team and it can take time.

Mailerlite is much easier to use than MailChimp. I have not compared it to other competitors though. Even though it is simple it is very powerful and offers a lot of information. The free plan is a great value if you don't have a large number of subscribers.
Cheaper than others.
Ease of use
It is hard to grow your database with them because they require a double opt-in. Otherwise, I have not found anything that I don't like about it yet.
Interface with Wordpress, competent opt in sites. Easy to set up campaigns. Very good customer service
MailerLite prefers customer to use double opt in which is better in the long run but many small users cannot afford to take a long time to build up a double opt in list

Highly recommended for email marketing! Easy to use and you can create professional looking emails, pop up boxes, and landing pages! Great choice at a lower price!
Pricing for the number of subscribers is lower than other competitors. MailerLite also allows you to create landing pages and pop up forms which are very nice and professional looking. Customer support is awesome in my experience!
When you first create an account, you may receive an "unapproved" message, but when you email them, they are very quick to respond and very helpful.

Very cost effective solution that provides the majority of features that the big players in this space have. I highly recommended using this service.
I honestly haven't found any yet. I will say that I'm fairly new with using this service (less than a month) but it has been wonderful

Mailer lite is easy to use. We've had 10 different people including interns make email blasts with it. It's simple to drag and drop and design and they have some good templates. Keeping track of contacts and groups is easy too, plus it has good statistics on open rate and clicks.
The biggest thing is it doesn't have the CRM integrations that bigger mail programs like mail chimp do. We've had problems a few times with graphic that seemed like bugs in the software, but were fixed pretty quick.

An affordable version of ConvertKit - it has landing pages, pop-ups, emails etc etc. Seriously worth it!
It has all the features and options of both ConvertKit and Mailchimp rolled into one with a reasonable price tag stamped on it. Incredibly easy to set up and sort out, it's great to have so the different options to capture leads and send emails to specific groups of people. Beautiful templates and a crazy amount of customisation to get the brand colours on point... Best option, hands down.
Soooo much customisation! It's actually really time consuming to have so many options - you want the landing pages and emails to look great, but it takes an age to get it all perfect.

Its automation features are incredible and the platform itself is super easy to use! I was able to easily figure it out on my own.
They somehow merged all subscribers together when you want to view them, which is kind of annoying. It was easier when they were separated.

I like the drag and drop email builders, they are so easy to work with and look very professional. They have a really nice price and features. Every month they roll out a new feature that puts them closer to other big players.
It is not possible to integrate it with sales platforms to make sure you don't send an offer to someone who has already bought the product. If they add this to their list of features it will be just perfect.
Free up to 1000 subscribers. You don't have to pay them anything if you are just beginning to build your list.
MailerLite is one of the best and easy-to-use email autoresponder out there. What I like most about MailerLite is its novice-friendly features and easy-to-use interface. It allows even new users like me who don't have the required technical skills to send beautiful and elegant emails to my subscribers.
But for me, the best feature of MailerLite is it's totally free for the first 1,000 subscribers. So if you have a pretty small subscriber list, then you don't have to pay anything but still, you can use all the necessary functionalities.
The Customer Service is also helpful and responsive with their 'Chat Features'
Perhaps, one of the biggest disadvantages of MailerLite is that they do not allow Affiliate Links. This is crucial especially for users who are relying on other people's list when selling their products.
After researching for a service providing free entry level for a startup project i found MailerLite. It was promising because it has a nice visual builder and few predefined email templates. The structure of the application is clear and there are no questions such as WHERE CAN I FIND THIS OR THAT...
The problem comes when I notice that the number of contacts that I am sending emails is getting lower.
Initially, I imported around 6500 contacts, and after few email campaigns, available contacts were to around 6300. It was weird to me how it is possible... After few days the support answers me with a straight answer - All bounced emails are removed from my mailing lists automatically - well that was understandable, BUT without notice or notification?!?
The worst was when I started receiving bills. I was charged for all emails that were in my account, even those that were bounced. There was not a tool just to delete the bounced emails because nobody wants to pay for something that is not using. After three months I ended with almost 600 blocked email contacts witch I had to pay for!
I made few tests with email addresses from my friends. All they had an email in Bulgarian largest email provider - ABV.BG. Guess what - all these three emails were bounced. That was the end with my experience with MailerLite.
Recently I created another account just to check how the project is going on. I was surprised to see that almost nothing was changed for almost a year! This software lack probably one of the most important features these days - AUTOMATION for eCommerce.
Because the system is so easy to use, we are doing more email marketing and doing better at it. We get immediate insights to how well a campaign is doing so we can make adjustments before the next step in the process.
MailerLite is an easy to use, very intuitive email marketing solution. It includes the ability to create forms and landing pages as well as send email marketing campaigns.
Nothing but great things to say about them. It delivers well on what it promises. It is easy to get started with. It is very impressive for what they charge.
MailerLite is really easy to set up and use for basic broadcast emails. Automation features are very good and constantly improving. As the service has become more popular, other apps like Thrive Leads and Facebook have made integrations, which makes for a more seamless onboarding process. The customer service is personal and real making the company a pleasure to work with.
While there are lots of pre-made email templates to choose from and options for customization of emails, MailerLite has no templates for embedded opt-in forms and few options for customization (such as adding an image) unless you modify the html code on your site. A workaround is to connect MailerLite with an opt-in form app such as Thrive Leads.

More visits and subsequent sales to my website.
It's like the name says, lite: Easy to use, simple to understand.
To get your imagination going, its got a lot of cool templates you can use.
Cost - significantly cheaper than Mailchimp and nicer to use.

The price, which is much more reasonable & affordable for me than MailChimp (which is why I initially switched from MailChimp to MailerLite). I also like the features, which I think are state-of-the-art, at least for my needs. The customer service is also great, and they're always trying to better their product, which I appreciate.
I honestly don't have any criticisms to make, not even constructive ones. Though it's reasonably priced, I suppose it could be a little less expensive (as could most everything these days), but that's about it.

* cost - less than half the cost of MC and basically the same product
Note - I use Mailerlite to send a newsletter associated with the romance books I write & publish. I manage 2 different newsletters and send them on average twice a month.
* customer service - always super friendly and helpful
* ease of use - they have templates or you can build your own from scratch, and then simply copy it each time and modify as necessary.
* easy to upload your list from your previous vendor when you switch.
* Can't really think of anything I don't like about the software. It's worked really well for me thus far.
Jade C from Self Employed
Really, it does what all mail service providers do (and it does it elegantly). What drew me to MailerLite was the money I'd save. I'd been with another mail service for a couple of years and needed to trim expenses. Some of my author friends recommended MailerLite and I'm so glad they did. Not only does it work well (and when I have questions, customer service is lightning fast!) but even though my subscriber count has more than doubled, I'm still paying less than I was a year ago with another provider. I am a very happy customer!
With all the enhancements they've added just since I've joined, I really can't complain about anything.
