PropFuel is a Game Changer

PropFuel makes it so incredibly easy for team members to recognize each other. Instead of asking "is this good deed by my colleague worthy of an e-mail" they can "prop" their teammates quickly and easily. This type of consistent recognition improves morale and encourages an atmosphere of mutual support. Combine this feature, which is used multiple times every day, with the "check in" capabilities and you have a powerful tool that is a combination of suggestion program, employee recognition program and silo buster. PropFuel fills a gigantic hole in corporate culture with something so easy to implement and use. It's been fantastic in a dispersed team like ours but I also see the application for any company regardless of their employees stay remote or not.

PROS

PropFuel was simple to set up and get running. It is also easy to use: no special training, no downtime to learn anything complicated. The ease of use made it a powerful tool for us right away.

CONS

PropFuel is constantly improving the product -- from an easy integration into Slack to better reporting. There isn't any one area where I see a major deficiency in the software. The biggest challenge is keeping the program fresh so employees stay engaged using it effectively.

Must Have Software for Membership Upgrades

PROS

Propfuel has paid for itself 10x over with the automation it can apply to member engagement and upgrades. In just one month we were able to identify over 200 members that wanted to upgrade to a paid subscription just by asking the simple question, “Would you like to upgrade?” I never realized that our members wanted simple, straight forward communication vs the daunting, long emails. It’s an amazing supplemental form of marketing to pair with our educational content. Did I mention we increased our webinar registrations by 830% with Propfuel? Again, by simply giving them information and allowing our members to let us know by a click of a button if they’d like to attend or receive the recording. I’m a raving fan and the team is wonderful to work with. Choosing to use Propfuel for any member-based business, and even SaaS model with unengaged customers is the way to go.

CONS

No dislikes! Honestly, the software is hyper compatible due to available API integrations, and solves our immediate pain points.

A more engaging way to communicate with our members

PROS

PropFuel gives our association a new way to communicate with our members beyond the traditional email which typically only provides information. With PropFuel, we can engage our members and give them an opportunity to provide feedback while still providing important information. Their feedback allows us to customize our follow-up with them and better meet their needs.

CONS

We wish there was an option to select multiple answers for multiple choice questions rather than a single selection only. Also, some of the text formatting, e.g. on landing pages, can be a little wonky; we sometimes have to play around with it a bit to get the look we want.

Great for member feedback and internal teambuilding

As an association that values member feedback and suggestions, Propfuel facilitates an easy and simple solution to get answers. This is a two-fold because with Propfuel we also are able to easily recognize and get to know our internal staff by sending out "get-to-know-you" type of questions, or by sending "props" which is so important for developing team culture.

PROS

Propfuel is very simple to use and has plenty of options and functions that we can add for an easier user experience. I really appreciate that we can do simple polling, quick feedback responses, or in-depth work-flows as well. The interface is great to customize and Propfuel is very easy to integrate into our everyday uses.

CONS

The only thing that I dislike about Propfuel (which I do not think is their fault) is that sometimes we have experienced that some members receive their notifications in the spam folder, but Propfuel has given us instructions on how to help our members combat this, and I really feel that it's just with certain people's high security systems. Overall Propfuel is great and the benefits definitely overshadows any negative things about the platform.

Overall its a great product. its easy to use, easy to setup, and the customer service is stellar. I love that the PropFuel team is always working to make improvements and is constantly deploying new features and keeping up with the needs of their clients.

PROS

I love the ease of use for the customer. The fact that they can respond to questions right from their email, and not have to click a link is great and, in my opinion, leads to a higher response rate.

CONS

While the integration has come a LONG way since I started using Prop Fuel, I wish it was fully embedded in Fonteva (SalesForce). This may not ever be possible since its not a SalesForce product but there are still elements of tracking and knowing who has received what that is missing from our database.

Would recommend PropFuel to anyone!

Overall a great experience! We are very happy with PropFuel.

PROS

How user friendly the software is and how it integrates seamlessly with our association management software. The PropFuel automations have saved us so much time and resources.

CONS

I would not say that there's anything I specifically dislike about the software, but it just took a little practice and time learning how to successfully set up a campaign. However, the PropFuel team was always available whenever my team and I needed extra assistance.

I was not on the team who decided to purchase PropFuel for our company, so I am not sure what other products were considered.

Great Tool for Workplace Culture

We are solving issues that employees are having that don't feel comfortable doing face to face but can express themselves through this platform!

PROS

Propfuel is easy to navigate and all of our employees enjoy using it!

CONS

I wish there were more options for questions to ask your employees. We have gone through all the questions and now I google things to come up with instead of using what is in he database. If this was updated more regularly it would be very beneficial!

I can't remember the name of the other company we were looking at but we were offered half price for Propfuel so we stayed with you guys!

Versatile Heavy Hitter to Engage Your Audiences

Rarely does a product come along with which you are completely satisfied. PropFuel has exceeded our expectations across multiple yardsticks and is a valuable tool to help us achieve our association's objectives. The customer service we've experienced is truly phenomenal, and there is a users' group that meets regularly to share ideas and expertise which has sparked our imagination on many more ways we can make the most of PropFuel.

PROS

PropFuel is an amazingly versatile product that operates on the premise, of "Ask, Answer, Act." Ask your audience a question, allow them to answer it, and then act on their response with more information, help and support to create a satisfying, engaging interaction. The ways you can use this to create a conversation with your constituents is limited only by your imagination. We are new to the product, but thus far have used it in a membership renewal campaign (achieving 3.25% over last year's results); a member profile update outreach effort; and currently in a new member engagement campaign. We have ideas for many other ways to make good use of its capabilities, including as a certification study tool, a volunteer experience conversation starter, a resource education vehicle and more. We have been thoroughly satisfied with PropFuel and are eager to find even more applications for this engagement booster.

CONS

The only thing I can say here is that PropFuel has the capability to operate in a fairly sophisticated way and can be configured to be very tightly customized to your needs. Thus, there is a bit of a learning curve to get up to speed, on par with other tools that go beyond the basics. However, PropFuel's [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], is 100% committed to helping customers achieve great success and spends (yes, continues to spend) time with us personally and patiently assisting us in configuring our campaigns.

Connecting our Team

The Propfuel team has created a very simple tool that helps our team connect and recognize each other- amazing! The Propfuel team has also been very responsive when we need help or have special requests. Would highly recommend.

Engagement +

I was hesitant to start using the product at the onset of the pandemic, but we did. We have exceeded our expected engagement efforts with our members and provide our members with a space to inform or communicate with us, not just at the usual once or twice a year ask.

PROS

Having the ability to view real-time actions around each communication.

CONS

Improvements in the area of process documentation have already started - this would have been my only concern.

Propfuel actions are a game changer

Propfuel has been a fantastic tool for both our company use and for use by our customers.

PROS

The use of triggers/actions allows the building of a communication workflow which significantly enhances the customer interaction and routing of constituents into more relevant classifications/content/outreach.

CONS

Needs to have some better reporting capabilities and data extraction.

Good Product

It is a great engagement tool and we have successfully implemented many new processes in the office because of it. Everyone in the office now has a voice which they did not have before, it allows for them to express their opinions in a way that doesn't leave them vulnerable and also allows management to see patterns among concerns or ideas.

PROS

I like the fact that feedback can come through anonymously ensuring that no one is afraid to state what they really think .

CONS

I think for the prop page it would be cool to socialize a little bit more by allowing photos or emojis to be shared. We display the props in our office and I think it would be a fun feature to have pictures of past volunteering events or things of that nature display when props are given about them.

Great Engagement Tool

We have had a tremendous open and response rate with this tool compared to the emails we were previously sending. It has helped us connect more with our members and we hope to see that improve retention when it comes time for these members to renew their membership.

PROS

This was the easiest software to set up and start using immediately. The customer support and training was excellent and anytime I have a question, I get an immediate response. One of the things that I like best is that they listen to feedback from their customers/users and add new features/functions all the time based on input from customers.

CONS

For the most part, the software has majority of the functions that we need. There are a few functions that could be streamlined (example, the embed check-in), but once you learn how to do it, it is fairly simple.

What a great tool for driving engagement!

PROS

PropFuel is a great tool for driving member engagement. The campaigns we've sent have gotten great open and engagement rates and our members seem to really engage with it. It integrates with all our other systems so we can easily import and export the data we send and receive.

CONS

Learning the tool definitely takes some time and practice but once you figure it out, launching campaigns is a breeze. And they have a great support team to help with the onboarding and integration processes. There are a lot of cool features and functionality which can be overwhelming, but we're taking it one step at a time and it seems to be working for us.

PropFuel for Membership Campaigns and so much more...

We have mostly used it so far to engage lapsed members regarding their membership status. It has been very successful in getting a response and getting them to renew. Although we send a ton of communications via email and mail, many members still say they didn't know their membership lapsed. PropFuel has helped us cut through the clutter.

PROS

This software is very user friendly and intuitive. It's a powerful tool that can be used in tons of ways, so I like that sky is the limit as far as it's uses. The biggest pro has been the customer service that goes along with the product and helping us to use it effectively.

CONS

The only thing that I haven't liked is not being able to personalize within the message of a campaign although I do believe that is a feature that is being developed. We have not yet integrated with our CRM but that is due to our IT process, so I'm not sure yet how that will go.

Don't hesitate to go forward with Propfuel.

PROS

1. Implementation was smooth, easy to understand and we were up and running in weeks. The platform it's self is organized and structured. 2. Our first campaign generated more success than any email we have sent in the past. We were able to segment, target, and really listen to our members. It has transformed how we market. 3. Results, that you can see immediately. The investment we made in propfuel paid for its self within the first 30 days because our first 2 surveys were overwhelmingly successful. Propfuel is a great marketing tool and I can't say enough about it.

CONS

There needs to be more of a system for organizing campaigns.

Definitely recommend

It is early days for us but we really appreciated the on-boarding and the way PropFuel takes the time to get to know us and our association. They feel like a partner, they continue to accompany us as we create our first campaigns and their experience and suggestions are invaluable.

PROS

Ease of use, the resources available to users, clean & clear interface. The ability to integrate with our AMS and write back updated information and the integration was set up entirely by PropFuel - couldn't have been simpler for us. It is going to make our communications so much easier and allow us to track and adjust the things we've always wanted to but could never do manually.

CONS

On our wish list for future development would be to allow our members to select more than one option in a multi-choice list.

Propfuel review

Our certification program has really benefited. Keeping track of existing, potential, and lapsed members has become much more manageable.

PROS

[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] are always adding on features to make improvements on the software. They truly care about the customer experience and taking user feedback.

CONS

One thing I hope will be available is sending notifications via SMS.

Glad to be on board

Its going to make on-boarding new members fairly seamless when in the past it was an impossible task . The PropFuel team has been so supportive and helpful they are a joy to work with and they have excellent ideas for new and interesting ways to reach out to our members

Very happy with personal touch PropFuel provides

PROS

I've done a couple of campaigns in PropFuel and I really like how it gives a personal touch when reaching out to members and prospects via email. It can you be used to interact with our members (I'm using it now to ask for testimonials) and we've used to gain insight into what topics are most important to our meeting attendees. It's very versatile! We use MemberClicks and the integration was the easiest integration I've ever done. I'm still amazed at how simple it was (and it works with our forms). Customer support is excellent! It's like they are a part of your staff.

CONS

I can't think of anything I don't like about PropFuel.

PROS

Creating member engagement has never been easier! The questions embedded in the emails help to make a quicker and smarter way for members to get involved.

CONS

I wish there was a little bit more in the way of personalization with member name's and other data, but I think this feature might be coming soon!
