We had been using a competitor's product for the previous 3 months and needed a system with more flexibility and a focus on a smooth on-site check-in process. I imported our online registrations into Eventleaf and we used their amazing mobile check-in app to provide a registration experience that was a pleasant experience for our attendees and our conference staff! The most arduous tasks (collecting exhibitor profiles, updating speaker biographies, and changing the conference agenda) are automatically managed by the system. And the result is a beautiful and engaging conference web site and a companion mobile app that are always in sync. I will never create my own conference web site again! #### Cons If I had one complaint about Eventleaf, it would be regarding the lack of documentation. Although there are a few good videos we used for end-user training on specific features (e.g. the QR code badge scanner app), the software needs a comprehensive training manual for the event planner. I would also love it if the Sponsor management system worked like the exhibitor/speaker management system that is now in place. Ideally, it would be wonderful to have an end-to-end experience where the customer goes from purchase to profile upload and their information automatically appears on the exhibitor/sponsor page when the planner approves the purchase. #### Reasons for choosing Eventleaf Eventleaf offers the best experience for a conference planner to quickly and easily hit the ground running. Registrants could submit multiple attendees, receive confirmation emails and update/cancel their registrations as required. Also the reminder process again has saved me so many hours of chasing people up! I also loved the survey option, we have needed a way to get back feedback about our events and this feature was great! I have also had positive feedback from our invitees, saying how easy and efficient it was to use. Also, the features of being able to have different categories of invitees and sub categories within that allows me to collect all the necessary information. The event page itself looks very professional. #### Cons When I signed up I was interested in all the features, especially the QR Code sign in. We need all our attendees to sign in and this can be a tedious process when they write their name and sign a piece of paper, and unfortunately this wasn't part of the basic plan. When I have hit either one of these, I have been amazed at the accessibility, professionalism, knowledge, and response time of the technical support folks. I have worked with many different CRM and Fund Development tools and have even managed a technical support department, and I can say that the EventLeaf technical support is the most amazing that I have encountered! I can accomplish all of my event management tasks in this easy-to-use software and rarely encounter technical problems or limitations. We are a volunteer organization, so we find the cost of the software to be very reasonable - especially for the functionality that you get. I have worked with many different Customer Relationship Management and Fund Development applications and EventLeaf is by far my most favorite one! #### Cons The only areas for improvement for me are very small - and it may be related to the age of my registrants (mostly retired) and to the fact that we use the tool slightly differently. My registrants are mostly pairs of RV owners who need to submit a registration for both partners. A few of my registrants miss the "register additional attendees" button. I have suggested that this link be slightly more visible in the registration process to eliminate some confusion of use. I also wish that the name tag builder functionality was a little more robust. Presently, there is not much customization available to being able to change sizes or adding fields of information. Forget chat bots and virtual assistants. Don't fret that you'll be directed to FAQs without a real person to answer your questions. I've worked with several reps at EventLeaf, and they're consistently available by phone and video chat, and they explain and troubleshoot well. It's hard to overemphasize how important this has been to our successful use of EventLeaf. When big events like our fall conference come around, the rep will make a point of clearing their schedule in case you have any emergency issues. I am able to manage several events simultaneously within my agency’s organization page. The well-structured dashboard allows me to track and manage registration; keep track of sales; and engagement activities. The program enables me to design my own website with a personalized URL to drive registrants to the event. Eventleaf can link directly to hotels, manage speakers and exhibitors, and produce a well laid out agenda. I am able to manage registration and attendee information throughout the event as well as checking-in, payments, and class sessions. My favorite part of Eventleaf is the engagement component that administers invitations, reminders, and notifications all within the site which means my inbox does not get over whelmed. However, if I want to, I can forward requests to my agency email. During the event, Eventleaf allows me to use polls to engage attendees. After the event, Eventleaf can be used for follow-up surveys. The program is an annual cost that varies by the number of annual registrants. #### Cons Eventleaf is constantly upgrading its program to address market changes. If there were things I did not like, I reach out to the support group and they help me. #### Reasons for choosing Eventleaf The site takes me through a series of questions that helps me design and post my event website. With an older population it needed to be as simple and user friendly as possible which it is! I appreciate that it is easy to use as an administrator and easy for the users checking in. #### Cons It is not a con by any means, but I wish there was a way to register people for our event without sending them an email.
