My review speaks for itself! I love eFax!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I’ve been using the EFax services for about 16 years now in general, I suggest using this for anyone. A lot of times I have Files and I may not be around the printer, but I need to get my paperwork to where it has to go, the best thing to use is effects. As long as you can use the other system that I use Adobe and then I integrate that with effects and send my signed and sealed paperwork straight to wherever I want to in the world. I love this product, I will forever be a customer.

#### Cons

I can’t really think of any cons at this moment lol.

#### Reasons for choosing eFax

Because I used EFax regularly in the beginning when I had it basic, I would never be disloyal and go somewhere else if they’re offering an added service now that I’ve upgraded my lifestyle.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Value for money: 1/5

#### Pros

Easy to use. Seemed to be well established.

#### Cons

If they are going to nickel and dime me at the get go with a $30 port fee....I fear the future is getting dim.

#### Reasons for choosing eFax

I did not choose eFax.

#### Reasons for switching to eFax

Cocofax was awful. All inbound faxes would either be timed our or be an error. They would ALWAYS blame the sender and not their own server.

Overall, we haven't had many issues with eFax and I would definitely recommend it. I like the ease of accessing all faxed documents and I like that you can store contacts and send faxes fairly easy. I also like that they send you an email when the fax was sent successfully, so there is no questioning!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

#### Pros

I like that eFax is super convenient, easy to receive and send faxes. I like that you can access old faxes in case you missed something and I also like that you can store contacts for sending faxes to the same business/person in the future.

#### Cons

I feel like it could use some updating. I don't like that you have to click a million things before the actual document will open up.

### Mistake to switch to them; very disappointed

It has been terrible. They lied about pricing. Customer support is slow, sends you in circles, and gives the wrong answer almost every time. Chat disconnects constantly and they give you the wrong phone numbers to call. I’ve had faxes not go through at times and no way to fix it. I tried to port my numbers out and they play games to avoid releasing the numbers — for six months and counting — while also telling me that I have to keep paying for service until after the numbers are ported or they won’t port them. They claimed to have sent me a PIN (they haven’t) when it’s just the last four of your credit card (not secure). Overall, this is a terrible company and I encourage people to stay away.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 2/5
- Value for money: 1/5
- Customer support: 1/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

I switched to eFax for two reasons: it was supposed to be cheaper than Vonage (that turned out to be a lie) and the app is decent for my iPhone. The app is just about the only thing I like, but it’s pretty basic.

#### Cons

The company itself has scammy sales people, a difficult to use portal for your account, and the worst customer service in the world. Don’t expect them to help you with any issues at all. They will not understand and send you in circles.

#### Reasons for choosing eFax

Pricing and features — especially the app for my phone so I could monitor incoming documents.

#### Reasons for switching to eFax

It was supposed to be $17 for two lines and I was paying $20 at Vonage, plus the app was a big selling point for me. After I switched, eFax began charging me $17 per line (double the quote) and refused to correct it even after I showed them my emails confirming the pricing.

### Did exactly what we needed

We had a great experience. It was easy to create an account, we sent out our documents without issues, and the interface was user-friendly. Plus, they have a mobile app! I wish the price was lower, but it is on par with competitors.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I liked that I didn't need to purchase any extra machines to be able to use the service. Sending a fax is a rare occurrence for us, so when we needed to send one it needed to be through a secure easy-to-use service. I was able to easily send the fax I needed online and confirmed that the recipient got the documents without any issue. The interface was easy to use and I felt confident that my data was secure, especially since this company has been around for quite awhile.

#### Cons

While I feel the price is competitive, it's still more than what we would like to pay on a regular basis. When we used it we were able to sign up for a free trial first, so that was definitely an incentive to try it.

#### Pros

I love how easy this is to use and the level of integration it has with our software. We send and receive faxes for it with very few problems. Their customer support team is out of this world. The longest I've waited for a reply was under an hour and that was because our direct rep was on a plane. We commonly have less than 5 minute response times. They give good price breaks on quantity.. we send and receive about 70,000 pages per month and get a great rate. Much more economical than maintaining standard machines.

#### Cons

There are obscure file\page size limits on faxes sent through their API. They have a new version but it does not work with our software yet.

In HR, faxes are, unfortunately, here to stay. With eFax, we can send and receive faxes effortlessly! We use this service multiple times per month, primarily for medical paperwork and unemployment documents. It has been immensely helpful for us.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The ability to send faxes online is a huge time-saver, and I immensely appreciate the confirmation emails that eFax sends to give me the peace of mind that my fax was successfully transmitted. Receiving faxes is easy with eFax as well since I receive them as attachments to emails, which allows me to download them and skip the hassle of hardcopies.

#### Cons

eFax recently updated their website, and the new setup makes it more difficult to send faxes. Thankfully, I still have the option to switch back to the old view, but I have to select it every time I log in. I do not see any value in the redesign.

#### Ratings breakdown

The most important thing to me about this software is the contact list. I use efax corporate in my lab to send results to our clients and my contact list is extensive but efax can handle all of the 100+ stored contacts.

#### Cons

The only thing I don't like is having to add a 1+ before each fax number. If you forget the 1+ the faxes will not go through.

My overall experience with e-Fax was was I would have to say like 6.5. I think initially the App was great until people started getting the numbers from data brokers and flooding the fax lines with spam and the lines just couldn't handle that type of traffic which is a shame because the app was a great App to use. It was so easy to integrate with your contacts and and drop box and you didn't have to worry about making face page for your fax. When your faxes came in they went directly to a cloud so you didn't have to worry about losing any faxes.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 2/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I first started using e-fax when it first came out and I really did it! The fact that it links with Google and the drop box was great! If something needed to be faxed it didn't matter where I was I could just upload the document and send it and it already has it's own cover sheet and you just upload your contacts and send which is great you don't have to worry about going into word and making your own version of a cover sheet. It takes care of everything that you need right away.

#### Cons

The only thing that I did not like about e-fax was the customer service, I started get flooded with a bunch of spam of faxes to the point that it was shutting my down and I could no longer log in and this was long after my trial and I had signed up early enough that they were still giving out free trials at the time. And I could no longer log in even after paying. It took forever to get a hold of customer support and I cleared the cache and did everything that they said to do.
