The one and only form you'll ever need
Onboarding, Project Management, Employee Debriefs, Payment Processing, and automation of processes are all examples of how Gravity Forms is assisting us in our day to day operations, allowing us to be more efficient and lean.
PROSGravity Forms is the standard when it comes to creating forms for your website. We use it for Onboarding, Project Management, Employee Debriefs, Payment Processing, and automation of processes. Their conditional logic is unmatched in the form world.
CONSSometimes you have to add an additional plugin for a certain feature that isn't a Gravity Forms plugin, which can cost additional money. It's a little frustrating but I also understand. It allows a ton of additional features since developers can add to the myriad of features.
Reasons for switching to Gravity Forms
Conditional Logic is the big one here. It is unmatched.

Quite Possibly The Best Form Solution For WordPress
The ease of solving a variety of different client needs, especially on the topic of collecting payments. Setting up e-commerce solutions can take a lot of time, which can be a burden if a client just needs to sell access to a downloadable brochure or collect deposits on a workshop. With nothing more than the PayPal email address, I can set my clients up to collect payment in a matter of minutes. I also LOVE the fact that all submitted entries are stored in the database. Some contact form plugins don't store the data after sending the email, and anyone who has setup forms in WordPress knows of the deliverability issues that can arise with submission notifications. Since Gravity Forms stores the entries, I don't have to worry about lost entries. My clients know that if an important submission doesn't reach their inbox for some reason, they can always login to the site and find that submission.
PROSI am constantly amazed the versatility of Gravity Forms. Sure, you can use it to create simple contact forms, but it can do so, so, SO much more than that. Want to create polls or surveys? Sure, that's child's play. Want to collect email addresses and dump them into your favorite email marketing Saas? Tons of software connections are baked-in to Gravity Forms (depending on your license level). Want your forms to stand out as something more than just a boring form? Yeah, go ahead and style the heck out of them using CSS. I've used Gravity Forms in place of e-commerce solutions (like WooCommerce) for simpler product/payment transactions. But wait, there's more. You can register users to your site (or register users for aspects of your site, like LearnDash courses); you can take payments on forms through PayPal, Stripe, Square, Authorize.net (and a few others); you can easily create COVID screening questionnaires (that's proven useful!); you can automatically dump your collected data into a variety of CRMs (Zoho, Agile, Capsule, probably others I have no experience with). And if all else fails, just connect Gravity Forms with Zapier where you can probably do whatever you want or need.
CONSOn the rare occasions I need support from their team, I wish there was a faster solution than email. Other than that, I haven't had any issues. Even the one time I had a project that was above my capabilities, Gravity Forms directed me to Codeable where I was able to find a developer to assist in the project.
Reason for choosing Gravity Forms
The comprehensive set of features within Gravity Forms keeps me coming back. Being able to easily create both simple and complex forms, and integrate with a variety of 3rd party services makes Gravity Forms extremely versatile.

Gravity Forms is reliable forms creator for your WP website
Very nice and clean drag-and-drop forms creator with all the elements you need. it can be used for contact forms, for registered users there is an option to create for them a form to change their details like password, name, and more. there is an option to add Captcha to reduce spam messages.
CONSIts not integrated with Elementor, its not possible to edit it with Elementor and I have to add the forms using shortcodes, it's not very bad but it can be better if it will integrate with Elementor.

Complicated and not at all intuitive
We used Gravity for surveys, questionnaires, and event registrationsapier
PROSI didn't really like much about Gravity Forms. I suppose having it in one place in the Wordpress installation could be considered a benefit.
CONSCramped workspace, unintuitive controls, wonky features. There are so many better tools out there. We realized that we do NOT need to have our forms integrated into the tiny Wordpress panel, so we moved away from Gravity as soon as our subscription was up.

The most robust form solution on wordpress
We have used Gravityforms in several projects that needed integration with CRMs and webhooks, and it was a blast!
PROSGravityforms helps you integrate forms into wordpress in the most complete way
CONSForms without custom css can look bad. The default customizer is not enough.
Reason for choosing Gravity Forms
GravityForms offered us a complete solution inside wordpress, and the price was better because you could have a lifetime deal.
Reasons for switching to Gravity Forms
We needed to have a better integration with the Wordpress ecosystem

Great Form Tool with ActiveCampaign
Overall Gravity Forms has been a great tool. I find it easier and more intuitive than Forminator and I'd recommend it as a form too.
PROSI use Gravity Forms to have a better looking form on my website, and use conditional logic in the forma nd then sync it to ActiveCampaign. This works very well and I've had no issues with form entries coming into ActiveCampaign. I also love that it has a Stripe integration so payments can be taken directly through the form.
CONSI've had several issues with the form on my website not processing sales which has resulted in lose of revenue. Apparently this was related to optimization plug-ins on my website. I have disabled those but haven't been able to test yet that this issue isn't repeating itself. Part of the troubleshooting issue is that often it was clients who told me the form wouldn't process their payment but I was unable to recreate the issue.
Reason for choosing Gravity Forms
I went with Gravity Forms because it allows form logic and is more intuitive than Forminator.

I have not found a better form builder
We were early adopters of Gravity Forms. We helped sculpt it into the robust builder it is today. I would have no problem suggesting it to a colleague.
PROSI love the ease of use and flexibility of Gravity Forms. My clients find it easy to use and my developers can make it do anything they are asked.
CONSI wish Gravity Forms had a Lifetime Deal. I would happily Pay $999 for lifetime support.
Reasons for switching to Gravity Forms
cForm seemed to be stagnate and Gravity Forms looked like a product that was going to be the future of form building.

Pretty good for Wordpress, but requires way too many add-ons
Works as advertised for basic functions, but it requires too many add-ons. The development of this software also seems very slow compared to competitors that are adding new features all the time.
PROSWorks well with Wordpress. It is very flexible if you are willing to pay more for add-ons. The best forms plugin for Wordpress that is available in terms of pricing and features.
CONSI hate that you have to purchase a number of additional add-ons in order to make the product do what is required. The add-ons are mostly created by 3rd parties, not all of whom are easy to judge in terms of credibility, safety and reliability. The features included in the main product (without add-ons) is weak compared to non-Wordpress focused competitors.
Reason for choosing Gravity Forms
Seemed to be the best native builder for Wordpress.
Reasons for switching to Gravity Forms
Needed something with better conditional logic and customization options.

We never use any other form builder for wordpress
We've used gravity forms for our clients for YEARS. The great part is that it's so extendable that it's simple to make these ultra-complex processes in a reasonably straightforward way. I will say that clients don't tend to like the look of the interface very much and a lot feel intimidated by it, but it only takes a few minutes of training to show them the ropes and get them comfortable with it. As a basic wordpress user, who just needs a basic contact form, gravity is likely over kill to say the least, but if you need a form that has a lot of conditional logic or a form that needs to take information and move it somewhere else, gravity forms is what you've been looking for.
PROSDrag and drop interface, easy to understand interface and options, is easy to use as a developer or someone with less experience. Interfaces with SO MANY other plugins to expand functionality (pretty much to the moon and back).
CONSNot mobile friendly (like really not friendly), price could be a bit more accessible - but the product is really good so, it's not a dealbreaker.

I use for Ecommerce, Contests, Contact Forms, and more
Overall I have recommended Gravity Forms to countless people and will continue to recommend it. It's the best forms solution for WordPress, hands down.
PROSGravity Forms is the most versatile forms I have found in 8 years of building WordPress websites. I have used it for all kinds of functions, including as a simple ecommerce platform. They have a wide variety of ad-ons to expand the functionality. Make sure you look at all of the options in your forms. I feel like many people don't fully use all of the features it offers. It's worth it to get the higher level subscriptions and get all of the add ons included.
CONSThe only issues I've had with Gravity Forms is when I wanted to do some pretty advanced CSS styling. I was trying to do something a little over my head and had some trouble finding the right code to apply the CSS too. The knowledgebase did help a lot but it was a struggle at times.
Reason for choosing Gravity Forms
Gravity Forms had far more functionality.

CONSIt's a very simple tool with basic functionality.

Unparalleled form management system
Gravity Forms is the ultimate form management system. It allows to easily create forms, add fields, add conditions for those fields and display it easily on your website. In addition, it has a huge list of integrations that allows us to very quickly and cost effectively integrate the forms with different systems. The data capture element is fantastic and helps organise our lead database easily.
CONSSome features like third party integrations may require a bit more technical knowledge, but that's to be expected with such complex functionalities. The fact that it offers it and makes it easy to do is impressive.

Extremely Versatile
Gravity Forms has allowed me to take orders, accept payments, conduct surveys, and many other contact options. It is extremely robust in the features it offers and it’s great to have an all in one solution for all my forms.
PROSGravity Forms is so versatile and I have used it for so many different forms and integrations. My favorite feature is the conditional logic that allows you to change the form based on how people answer. This creates a more custom experience and also reduces unnecessary questions that don’t apply to someone.
CONSI wish there were more options for changing the look of the forms. It is possible to do through CSS and HTML, but it would be nice if the option was available when using Gravity Forms directly.

Can't Do WordPress Without It
Unless we're embedding a native MAP/CRM form, there's no reason to use anything else in WordPress.
PROSGravity Forms is by far our favorite WordPress forms engine. It's ubiquitous, easy to style and easy to integrate.
CONSGravity Forms does require styling to offer a best-in-class user experience. Fortunately, this is easy for anyone with CSS knowledge. Out of the box integrations can be a bit weak, but Zapier powers just about anything.
Reasons for switching to Gravity Forms
Gravity Forms is the ideal mix of price, ease of use and flexibility. It's the Toyota Camry of WordPress forms engines. You can get a little sexier, but you know it will work. With forms, that's the name of the game.

Building forms is a cinch with Gravity Forms
The association used a calendar plug-in along with WooCommerce to sell registrations for our conferences. It worked fine, but wasn't customizable and was cumbersome. Gravity Forms with the Authorize.net integration has made replacing the old way of doing things with a newer, sleeker, easier way, plus the export capabilities of Gravity Forms for our entries makes archiving attendance much easier.
PROSCustomization. The association I work for once had a very laborius practice of conference registration. From the paper form to tracking to finalizing attendees, Gravity Forms makes it easy from start to finish of our conferences.
CONSSince the update to version, I like everything about Gravity Forms.
Reason for choosing Gravity Forms
Our website had Gravity Forms, but only utilized it as our Contact Us form. I had a "free day" and learned how to use Gravity Forms for much more. That was a great "free day" for the association.
Reasons for switching to Gravity Forms
In one word, customization.
