Great New Asset Management Tool
I'd started w/ Reftab as a cloud based asset management tool for tracking and managing electric vehicle charging stations. I've also used Device42 then Insight by Riada as competing products because had developed integrations with Jira Cloud and Jira Service Desk Cloud for our task and service ticket management. Reftab continued to develop their product and has now integrated with Jira. Nice! The cost/month is currently less than 50% of the monthly subscription cost for competing products and the functionality and customer service are truly excellent for our asset tracking and management needs.

CONSThe initial product did not integrate with Jira Service Desk. Reftab has since added this capability and setup was reasonably simple.

Best Program on the Market
The experience with Reftab has been fantastic, from the program to the management team. Everyone has been so helpful and flexible to tailor the program to work best for us. I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking to track all their assets have automated reports sent out.
PROSThe user interface is simple and easy to work with. Made it so much easier to locate assets that have been signed out to employees and track the usage. It was an easy transition for employees to start using the program and the training aspect was fast and easy. Reporting is fantastic by getting notifications of who has not turned in something.
CONSI don’t have any Cons on the software because if I do find something missing the Reftab team is always available to try to find a way to get us what we are looking for.

Reftab looks modern has the flexibility of multiple users at a fixed price, we can use this program in many of our department's which is a huge plus. We were looking for a program that can track assets and consumables at the same time and have the flexibility to have separate user access to each department

Fast, Simple & Effective
Has been a joy to integrate with our IdP and MDMs, we managed to quickly build some really powerful integrations and automations using Reftab's workflow & webhook features. Looking forward to see what they do next.
PROSEasy to use with a snappy and intuitive interface. Integrates really well with all of our other applications. Balance of price & features is excellent.
CONSAPI could use some work - it's not as intuitive as some others out there, although the support team have been fairly quick to help where the docs didn't!

Absolutely astonished by the support offered by Reftab
Reftab checks all of our boxes for a ITAM tool. The Jira, Intune, and Jamf syncs allow us to trust Reftab as our 100% live source of truth for all of our most critical assets. The software is easy to use and has been a real win for us. While the software is great, support is really where Reftab shines. There have now been two instances where I've found a bug and reported it to their support team. Both times they were able to apply a fix within hours of me reporting the issue. I'm absolutely blown away at how responsive and helpful their support team is. I cannot evangelize them enough!

Fantastic so far!
From the first point of contact, Reftab have been amazing. I have been in contact with Mike, who I believe to be one of the founders of the software. Personally I find that amazing that we have contact with a founder, who is really able to give me all the answers I need directly without going through long support terminals like with other software programs. Mike has been extremely helpful with the setup of our account - always replying very quickly to emails. Although we are only just (slowly) starting to use Reftab, everything about it is great so far & it works really well. Due to an extremely busy work schedule, we have not been able to push its limits just yet, but so far, so good. Thanks to the Reftab team for all the help so far!
PROS- The features are super easy to use - the Reftab team are very responsive, efficient & effective when it comes to troubleshooting or answering queries - The check-in /out feature is really simple to use - almost everything is modifiable & customisable
CONSThe mobile app lacks the option to edit details / barcodes for Accessories, which from an Office Supply Management POV, is important as it allows me to work from my mobile when adding / editing stock. The request portal (to my knowledge) does not allow for indefinite loans of accessories OR assets, which could be useful for us at least. It also does not yet allow requests for consumable accessories, which again, could be useful for us.

Love it, very easy to use and comes with an App to download that allows for management on the go

Overall this is a great software to use. It has all the features that I want with a few pleasant surprises. It does have some issues but they are very minor and will eventually get addressed. I really appreciate that they listened and ended up create an auto collecting agent for Windows. This feature was not present when I started using them so I suggested it (along with others I am sure) and was very pleased to see it get added in.
PROSThe main factors that pulled me to reftab are the integrations, computer agent, customization, and ease of deployment. I really appreciate that it integrates with Jira (it's surprising how few system do this) so that when someone submits a ticket, I know which computer they have. I also like the agent and it's ability to collect important information on my Windows machines like the IP address.
CONSIt has a few bugs to it but bugs eventually get fixed so long as they are brought up. I would like to see display themes primarily. I do not mind the gray, white, and green but I would like to see some darker color options; however that is purely for aesthetics.

Best-in-class Asset Management solution
Reftab was simple to configure and even easier to manage. Our business enjoys the peace of mind knowing we are in control of the cost as we grow in users.

CONSI can identify very few cons in the time I've used this platform. The ability to deploy an agent to all hardware to automatically capture information would be nice but not necessary if managed well.

Quality Product at a Reasonable Price
Being able to track all assets, accessories, and consumables throughout our organization has been a game changer and will help us eliminate each department having their own spreadsheets for tracking which employees have what.
PROSIt's easy to use and reasonably priced. The fact that it can track assets, accessories, consumables, and licenses in an easy way with the ability to grant users access only to what they should be able to see was a deciding factor in selecting Reftab over other competitors.
CONSThe lack of report customization and the inability to filter accessories from consumables.

Reftab saves a lot of time for asset management
There was a feature missing that impacted our workflow, I emailed support and that feature was implemented within a couple of weeks. This has been our continual experience with Reftab, amazing customer support and an all around great product.
PROSEase of use, ease of setup and the integrations. We have been abysmal at keeping our assets up-to-date, but with the integrations in Reftab a lot of our mistakes have been alleviated by the sync from Jamf and Intune. The auto checkout of assets has helped us keep up on equipment.
CONSThe mobile app would be nice if we used barcodes, but because of remote workforce now-a-days we do not put barcode/asset tags on equipment. If would be nice if the mobile app was able to OCR a pic of the serial number, but it's not a deal breaker in the slightest.

Jamf and Intune integration. SnipeIT is a great product and we have no gripes about it. The integrations with Jamf and Intune is what we needed and so we switched.

Brilliant tool for a small non-profit trying to keep track of loaned items
Love it. Previously we were trying to keep track of assets in a manual spreadsheet. Our assets are expensive cameras and are donated (or funded by public donations) and are loaned out for free (with no deposits) so having easy tracking is a must. Didn't know exactly what we needed or how to set up so just started (really easy) with the default fields and this product has the flexibility to add fields as I was going along, or change things at a later date. Haven't yet used the "request custody validation" but think this will help us at year end to double check where our loan cameras are. Great product and would recommend. Thank you Reftab.

RefTab - an awesome way to keep tabs on your assets.
I've been using RefTab since day one of its release. It's a an awesome product that every company should be on board with. Allows you to track your inventory easily from any device. It has changed the way I keep inventory. Definitely a worthwhile product for the money!

Customizable & Versatile!
We are realizing greater tool accountability, which is vitally important in the aviation industry.
PROSThis software adapted well to fit our needs in organizing our tool crib. I liked how we could create kits combining any amount of assets and accessories, and create fields to store types of data. Nicely designed.

RefTab Is Great!
Positive and exciting to implement.
PROSIm not sure as I have just scratched the surface. I do like the rapid responses I get when I have questions.
CONSNeeds a payment module. Since we are loaning equipment to the general public, I would like to be able to have a separate 'client' option with ability to accept payments and deposits.

I searched for an asset tracking software that could track assets in the field and on the go, like UPS, but affordable. Reftab has great customer service and most of what we needed. We are a 501c3 and need to track large amounts of donated equipment.

Easy to use, critical for our company growth
From day 1 they provided excellent customer service and gives rapid feature development and updates to cater to our needs.
PROSSimple to use, easy to train our staff immediately. Fast feedback from developers to add features that are critical to our business. Slick interface makes it a pleasure to operate the platform. Search functionality + user log tracking means Data can be verified and corrected easily if need be, making sure our asset database is 100% reliable.
CONSThe mobile app has less functionality than the web platform. However the majority of our use so far has been with the web platform.

IT Asset Management
I like the way it handles asset entities, accessories and licenses. I also like the way it handles asset assignment as loans to loanees.
CONSThere are a few places where how to accomplish certain tasks isn't clearly obvious to the end user resulting in certain features not being noticed as a possibility to the user, but once you learn the interface and what all can be done it's pretty easy to work with.

Great overall user experience
I've only been using the software for a short while and feel like it's been very easy to grasp the fundamentals. The UI is simple and features are well worked.
CONSThere are some minor bugs when it comes to searching for assets or loanees. I've however contacted the customer support about this and they told me they would be fixed in the next update :)

Efficient and Easy
Loved how there was a free trial, so we could see how it worked for free. Loved the software and ease of use.
PROSSo easy and user friendly. We were able to set up the software, put tracking stickers on over 50 assests and start using within a day. Amazing!
CONSI do not currently have any cons at this time.

Exactly What We Needed
The ease of use, value for the price, and customer support were extremely important when choosing a management system. Reftab's trial allowed us to test for what we needed without being tied down with a hefty price tag and features we didn't need.
CONSI would like to see more tutorials or quick guides on taking advantage of all the features.

Reftab in a quickly changing environment
Every time we had ideas for features, the developers have been very responsive, very quick to apply them (or mention why it's not possible when that was the case). Reftab has been super flexible and very prone to help our business. We definitely have a before and after Reftab in term of quality of asset tracking.
PROSReftab made it so much easier for us to adapt to the ever changing environment of our studio and constant movement of assets between desks or employees. It perfectly scaled to our studios worldwide, and allowed us to maintain standards between our studios.
CONSThere is not much to not like about Reftab. We haven't used the customer portal since it's not very well suited for our kind of environment (where IT has a closer control on assets and accessories), but this doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend it.
