It reduces the amount of time required to upload, filter, categorize, and process each candidate manually. It helps us keep track of every prospect, regardless of whether or not they're a good fit. When managing new employees and keeping track of all meetings, interviews, and other stages required is a problem, you might want to give this a shot. Your hiring procedure may be made a little easier or at the very least more organized as a result.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

My favorite part of emails is the seen function, which lets me know when a candidate has looked at one of my messages. Recognition of names by the app using automations and artificial intelligence (AI). Integration with other project management applications is an excellent idea. Manual cv picking is sped up significantly.

#### Cons

The program can only be used to check one job application at a time, therefore it can't open many URLs at the same time to examine multiple resumes. As long as the initial URL is not copied and pasted into a new browser window.

#### Reasons for switching to Breezy

To keep track of the applicant's progress through our system, we use a CRM system. Multiple resumes and a web application that tracks every stage of the job application process are essential. Making the same effort by hand might be difficult.

My overall experience with Breezy has been very positive. The platform simplifies the hiring process, keeps everything organized, and makes collaboration easy across the team. It’s intuitive to use and helps save time at every stage of recruitment. There’s still room for improvement in reporting and integrations, but overall it’s a reliable and efficient tool for managing candidates.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like most about Breezy is how intuitive and user-friendly the platform is. The interface makes it easy to track candidates, manage interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers all in one place. Features like automated email templates, interview scheduling, and pipeline visibility save a lot of time and reduce manual work.

#### Cons

Occasionally, integrations with other HR tools or calendar systems can be a bit inconsistent. Smoother syncing between Breezy and platforms like Google Workspace or Slack would make the workflow even better.

#### Reasons for switching to Breezy

The cost for the ADP HR recruiting module was too high, we found a better system in Breezy

#### Pros

Ease of use for posting multiple positions. It's difficult to reach that many candidates on so many websites without a full-time recruiter. We have been able to do that with Breezy

#### Cons

Not being able to manage applicants across the board. When there are multiple postings, candidates will often apply to more than one posting. It would be great to have the ability to manage them in one area instead of having to go into each posting individually

### Unprofessional Renewal Experience After 6 Years as a Customer - No Longer a Customer

We had been a long-term Breezy customer. In July 2025, we received a renewal invoice, paid it promptly through Breezy’s own portal, and assumed our renewal was complete. In August 2025, Breezy contacted us, saying our “renewal was past due” and threatened to interrupt service unless we signed a new contract at a higher price. When I asked why the invoice and the contract were different, Breezy acknowledged that their contracts and invoices “don’t sync” and that the billing system had auto-generated the lower invoice. We refused to sign the new contract, stating that we had paid in good faith the invoice Breezy provided. The next day, Breezy informed us at 10:31 a.m. Central that they would not honor the invoice we had already paid and required us to sign the new contract and pay the additional amount. We reiterated our refusal. At 11:50 a.m. Central, Breezy notified us that they had processed a partial refund, deducted for days already used since the July renewal, and cancelled our plan — letting us know we could go online and sign up for one of their self-service tier plans. We lost access to our account at that time. We chose to end our relationship with Breezy after this unprofessional interaction.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 1/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

Ability to have video interview questions added to the application. Customization of pipeline staging.

#### Cons

Lack of integrations. Features being removed. Feature requests remain as requests for years. Clunky way of setting up questionnaires and pipelines. Lack of ability to customize job postings using HTML.

#### Reasons for choosing Breezy

Video interview questions and cost were our key reasons

#### Reasons for switching to Breezy

We wanted the ability to add video interview questions to the application.

#### Pros

As a company that didn't have a ton of money to spend on an ATS, Breezy had everything we needed for a very affordable price. The layout is easy to understand and implement, and new features are always being added to make the software better.

#### Cons

It is an introductory ATS and functions as such. Tools that large companies need such as compliance and automation are available, but still feel like Beta features without the robustness that you would find in a more expensive software.

#### Reasons for choosing Breezy

Breezy had what we needed at the time at an incredible price.

As a hiring manager it is easy to learn and use. It helps with keeping our applicants seperate as each role posted has a different "card" or "tab". I also really like being able to see what other positions someone has gone out for in our company, so I can best direct their questions or desired position.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The ease of switching from texting to emailing a candidate. Being able to see that someone opened or viewed your message even if they dont respond. It is also really easy to track a candidate and move them from phase to phase clearly on the dashboard.

#### Cons

Not too much I didnt like about Breezy. If I had to pick something, it would just be nice to tie into our onboarding system to prevent needing to duplicate information into a seperate system. I wish it was easier to transfer a candidate to a different role or postion that isnt mine, in the case that someone is a better fit for a role I am not hiring for.

#### Reasons for switching to Breezy

Not as robust texing and emailing candiates.

I was pleasantly surprised! I’d never used it before. Once I logged in and adjusted my notification preferences (to avoid getting emails for every application), the experience was great and I was able to quickly start reviewing applicants.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

Breezy made it easy for our team to work together through pools of candidates to effectively narrow down our applicants. It’s a great combination of simple (intuitive to use) but also robust in offering quite a few options.

#### Cons

When you save notes on a candidate using the “scorecard” feature, those aren’t visible to rest of the team. It’d be nice to allow those to be public.

We took Alectrona from an unmanaged state to a managed one for recruiting and applicant tracking, and couldn't be happier. Breezy enables our small hiring team to efficiently process a good volume of applicants, makes comparisons relatively easy, and makes it easy to visualize our progress.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Easy to set up and configure. Reasonably easy to manage. Video assessments are a killer feature for me; saving immense amounts of time in candidate screening. Breezy support has been very helpful in troubleshooting and resolving issues with partner job boards.

#### Cons

The admin UI is... challenging. Functional, certainly, but not particularly easy to comprehend or navigate. Automations and communications can be configured at multiple levels in some cases (such as on an assessment question, for the assessment itself, and for the pipeline stage), meaning that it isn't always intuitive to find the right template to change. I would really like for *all* communications templates, global or individual, to be managed from the same interface.

I come from a $2bn company with 1,000 hiring managers. I was the co-leader of a project to select, configure and deploy an ATS across the entire enterprise. We chose iCIMS and had challenges with user adoption with Hiring Managers, Recruiters, and Coordinators, alike. Through that experience, as well as working as a user or admin with a dozen other systems in my career, I can't tell you how valuable an easy system can be for a small company! When I was asked to select and deploy a system for our company of 50 hiring managers and 40+ locations, I scheduled Breezy, Jazz, Jobvite, and several others - I looked at all of the top 15 platforms available today. I kept coming back to Breezy. Let me tell you - the results have been phenomenal! At the end of the day, I just need applications of qualified candidates and for easy candidate management for my hiring managers. Breezy delivers it all!

#### Cons

Overall I didn't like Breezy. I think there are much better options for start-ups who are looking to keep costs low when it comes to selecting an ATS. At the very least, you can integrate it with your google workspace, but if you're scheduling a lot of interviews yourself (ex: you're a founder looking for your first 5-10 employees and are doing everything yourself, Breezy will likely slow you down when trying to schedule things). You get what you pay for!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 2/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 2/5
- Functionality: 2/5

#### Pros

I guess the pricing was conveniently low for a pre-seed start-up, but you get what you pay for!

#### Cons

The scheduling tool wasn't great, the resume database was average, moving candidates through the process was painful, the UI was clunky and felt very archaic, the resume parser wasn't reliable, customer service wasn't always very helpful, and their integrations were pretty limited.

#### Reasons for choosing Breezy

I wasn't involved in the decision to choose Breezy as it was already the ATS being used.

When hired to help build out the first startup I worked for, I needed an affordable and scalable option to track candidates in. I found BreezyHR back when it was "Nimble" and fell in love with it's Trello-like appeal. It is built for collaboration between the recruiter and hiring manager as well as very easy progression from whichever stage they are in (sourced, talked-to, interviewing, offer made, disqualified, hired). Candidates can be dragged and dropped between any stage you want. Also, their Chrome plugin is AMAZING. I can upload candidate profiles directly to positions by clicking the button when on their LinkedIn profile. It makes importing candidates a piece of cake. I'd give it 4.5 out of 5 stars if possible just for a few small fixes that would make it incredible.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5

#### Pros

1. Beautiful user interface 2. Easy collaboration with hiring managers 3. Simple candidate progression 4. Amazing Chrome plugin (Linkedin profile upload to database)

#### Cons

1. If you upload via LinkedIn, their address info and contact info usually aren't on their profiles. Furthermore, uploading their resume later doesn't parse their information (address, phone #, etc.) into the fields, though it does if you originally upload the candidate via resume first rather than LinkedIn. 2. You can only upload candidates to positions you have created and candidates can only apply to positions that are open. Their is no way for passive candidates to just apply to your company through the hiring page if the position they are looking for is not open. I would VERY GLADLY pay extra each month to be able to add candidates to the database rather than just to specific roles. This is especially important for startups that may create new positions later for great candidates they can't imagine living without!

So far, so good. I really like Breezy for my hiring needs and it is a step above what we previously used. Hiring used to be a much more complicated task before BreezyHR came along.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The company I work with recently made the switch to BreezyHR about a year ago for our recruitment needs. have to say that it is a one-stop-shop for anything you would need to accomplish while in "hiring mode". The amount of features that it has makes this once daunting process a breeze in comparison to similar products. Some of the best features included are the ability to keep your conversations about potential candidates within that profile, send emails to the candidate directly from Breezy so everyone is in the loop and even schedule remote interviews if needed. I also like that you are able to create categories and subcategories for incoming applications and arrange them in a way that best suits you and your needs. Breezy also allows potential candidates to upload more than a CV or resume. You can add customizable pre-screening questions or assessments to your application process and even request a video introduction, which is very helpful in the outsourcing world. Following an interview, Breezy also allows you and your team to leave a scorecard from the interview, which is a big plus, instead of taking your own handwritten notes or in some spreadsheet.

#### Cons

It can be glitchy at times, but nothing too serious or I have not had any major setbacks while using this software.

My overall experience with Breezy has been great so far. It collaborates all the winning features of the recruitment cycle requirement and present it on a single platform. The flow of a candidate through different phases is smooth, simple, and easy to navigate for all the users. It has helped in creating a more interactive relationship with the applicants.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5

#### Pros

Breezy HR is a recruitment tool for all kinds of businesses. Its framework is based on the most important aspects of recruitment cycle, designed in a perfect manner to provide a miraculous experience to the Talent Hunter. It has a strong visual customization wherein you can see a candidate’s profile moving from being in the selected board to feedback and then depending upon the feedback, it goes to qualified/disqualified category. You can customize the entire process at each step. It is an extremely helpful tool for a recruiter when you are working on different kind roles as it helps in customization of the information received from applicants as per needs. The tech support team is easy to reach via chat option on the portal. The entire interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate.

#### Cons

I cannot think of cons with reference to the features and functionality of the product but it may seem expensive if there too many postings in a month so there is increment in the fees. It can be little expensive for a startup. However, overall it is worth it.

Also like that can make my own pipelines, but still didn't have enough time to look through the reports. Because I need reports according to my pipeline, but I see it's collecting data very nice.

The ability to not only have email templates but to automate the sending of them with placeholders for the position and candidate name is a great feature. The visual pipeline is great, and being able to change a candidate's status from multiple access points makes it really easy to move candidates through the pipeline without actually having to go back to that view every time. The layout is simple, but the customization is powerful, so we were really able to customize the process so we are doing the same things we used to do through email, just much faster.

#### Cons

The meeting scheduling didn't work for us, and we ended up using a service called Calendly for setting up interviews since they allow us to provide one link and let the interviewee choose any available date, versus us having to offer specific dates, which takes up more time and makes the scheduling management more complicated. But since that process is outside of breezy, there is the extra step of then moving them through the pipeline. It would be nice if Breezy could have the option of letting the candidate choose from any available time, so we don't have to manually choose a time, then they could be automatically moved through the pipeline when they schedule. The handling of repeat applicants is also not as intuitive as we'd like. Even when an applicant applies with the same email address, they show up as a separate profile. We've had the problem where if someone applies through indeed and we move them into breezy, the email is different so there's no way to know right away if they are a repeat. Also, we hire a seasonal team every year, so we'd love a way to flag people who come back, especially if we didn't hire them in the past. We tend to not hire people we've rejected, so we want to make sure we don't bring them in for an interview

### Better results than Indeed and Ziprecruiter

I discontinued my subscriptions to other platforms, which works for me because I am purposely growing slowly and with careful consideration of each candidate. If I was trying to do mass hiring, then I would still use the other platforms but the candidates are definitely better quality from this platform which surprised me. Not to mention the prices of the other platforms are completely obsurd.

- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Quality of applicants (not just massive amount of resumes to filter through for those that "mass apply", very targeted and candidates who apply on this platform are truly interested in the position). Personal support that is available, responsive, but not obnoxious with repeated contacts from customer support and marketing. It was simple to setup and I've received EXCELLENT candidates, a very small pool but the quality makes up for it. 2/2 nurses interviewed, 1 hired and 1 potential/pending in the last 4 weeks which in this market is super.

#### Cons

None so far. I have been pleased overall with no negative experiences thus far.

- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5

#### Pros

I like the ease of posting to multiple job boards and the drag and drop features. I like that it links to SMS and email and that hiring managers can discuss and write notes about candidates.

#### Cons

Reporting - seems to be a bit clunky. Would like to see a dashboard with essential statistics like average time to hire for all roles.

#### Pros

It didn't take too long to get used to the software. Many features were not utilized by my predecessor, so I had to figure out what was missing, but I got it running. The customer service is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! I love my team and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is so responsive. Really makes a huge difference from other ATSs I have used.

#### Cons

Not sure that the reporting is exactly what I need, but I am working on it. I am also not a fan of tagging people every time I make a comment.. it should just go to everyone that was assigned to the job (sometimes people don't get tagged and they miss something). But otherwise, it works well.
