Breezy HR Software


 

Breezy HR is a recruiting platform for small and midsize businesses. The solution provides functionality for applicant sourcing and tracking, resume parsing, and video interviews and more.

The application is cloud-based and features a dedicated app for iOS devices so recruiters can use the platform on the go. Breezy HR comes with EEOC reporting capabilities, customizable career pages, and the Restful API so developers can tweak the software to their needs.

With a drag-and-drop interface, users can customize their pipeline and organize applicants in whichever order they please. Recruiters can connect with candidates via email using custom templates, auto-responding and interview scheduling capabilities for fast response times and organization.

Users can source candidates from LinkedIn, AngelList and other sites using a Google Chrome extension, and can post openings to multiple job boards with a single click.

Breezy HR is available in a variety of pricing tiers based on the number of job openings an organization has.

There is no phone support. Which is just bizarre to me. Whenever I try to get a question answered I get a screenshot of something that is not relevant. The reporting is either inaccurate or very difficult to do.

Cons

The only con on this one is that the only integration possibility is through a one-way API. This may be challenging if using multiple systems for HR.

Overall, it works for the small department that we have so far. We are excited to see what additions there will be in the near future.

Pros

I love that customer service responds to inquiries within 5 minutes through chat heads. I love the pricing for the features which include video interviewing, e-signatures, emails and automated references. Definitely saves time on my end as the Recruiter.

Cons

I don't like that it doesn't come with a customizable reporting feature. Customer service is always open to feedback though, so they may work on integrating that feature into their software.

Easy to use, good customer support, very nice plans for choosing. Especially if you don't want to hire many employees, you can use UNO plan posting 1 vacancy for 1 month for free. It is shared also for free on Glassdoor, Upwork and other portals.

Cons

The other plans are also affordable, but a bit expensive in comparison with Recruitee software. So it depends on your company and budget.

I really enjoyed the drag and drop functionality - this makes Breezy enjoyable and easy to use. I would really recommend Breezy to any business wanting to adopt tech for the first time or even if one of the larger competitors have disappointed you. Breezy is easy to setup and understand.

You can get your hiring team up and running with a great recruiting solution within minutes. Breezy has some great features which compete with some of the more expensive options which is quite amazing. You can easy post jobs to multiple platforms like job boards, social media and LinkedIn on a free or paid option.

Cons

I could not really notice any cons as you can use it on a trial basis, also their no need to commit long term if you do not want. Also the price is very competitive so the investment required is also quite low.

The staff was very helpful and very responsive!

Pros

It's very simple to use, very clean and not too confusing like some other software I've used. I like the features, they have a score cards for candidates that you could easily customize. I found this to be their most unique feature. Most other tracking systems have a generic star rating.

Cons

They are a fairly new company, and that scared me away at first. But seems like they have come a long way.

We have been with Breezy since December in 2016 and I gotta say that I don't have any Cons. If you don't have a function this team works hard to make it happen. We needed additional reporting and they created the function for it. We needed an effective way to launch a Referral program with reporting and they did it. Breezy HR is pretty much a Breeze

Overall, super happy with the software, service and price.

Pros

This ATS does a lot of things well. Easy to track candidates, custom emails, email and calendar integration, Chrome integration, a pretty serviceable iOS app. And a user interface that doesn't like it was designed in the aughts. Equally nice is the regular pace of updates that occur. Best of all is the incredible response that I get when I have a question (either good or stupid - my questions) or just feedback. I'm pretty psyched about the customer rep and how quickly he gets back to me.

I also like that I can easily manage more than one company on the same platform.

Cons

Small silly things. I fill out my scorecard as I'm interviewing a candidate. If I want to take a quick peek at their resume, the scorecard closes, loosing all my notes. Resumes are hard to read (small type).

Breezy HR ATS - When Not Bad is Pretty Good

After 5 years of using a competitors ATS, I had a chance to survey the market and pick a system that truly suited my needs. While I didn't fine the perfect solutions, I did find a product that had 1)mail and calendar integration 2) an user interface that wasn't designed by some engineer that never actually tried to use their own product 3) and a reasonable price. Top it off with some really top notch customer support and I'm pretty happy. One bonus - if you recruit for more than one company, you can easily maintain a couple of companies on the system and easily switch between the two.

Pros

Nice user interface, great price, great customer support.

Cons

Needs a quick view that shows candidates linkedin profile, personal websites and easy action from this view.

I'd also like to call attention to the amazing support team they have in place. They're highly knowledgable and very responsive.

Cons

While they have an iPhone app, I prefer to use the mobile web version. It's good but not nearly as good as the iPhone app right now. Would like to see more work on the mobile web.

I got attention from a lot of international companies.

Pros

Breezy HR is fairly easy to set up and their website is a great tool for collecting and sorting applications. They give you your own, company branded page on a Breezy subdomain. The best part is the fact that when you post a job, it gets exposure in many job search engines and search engines in general. It's a great marketing tool for attracting talent.

Cons

They only let you post one job posting for the free version. Besides collecting applications, their website is not as feature dense as LinkedIn's platform for jobs.

An extremely manageable ATS that makes it easy to track where we're through multiple job openings.

Pros

The ease of use and customization of job postings/application screening questions. Simply put, you won't be lost when using Breezy, it's very easy to see where you stand in a job search process, your candidate flow, and generally tracking a candidate's experience in the hiring life cycle. It's also very customizable if you put in some work on the frontend to create screening questions that will self-screen candidates out of the applications and automate emails through each stage of the interview process.

Cons

Just a few small things in regards to candidate profiles that applied to two job postings and the email functionality (if you send questions over email and they reply to the body of your message instead of copy and pasting the questions in their own message when they respond, then you can't see their answers), but on the whole, it does just about you could want in an ATS.

Helpful support team. Lots of useful features and flexibility. Free job board postings. Free company page. Easy integrations with other job boards. Work with multiple companies and recruiters with more flexible subscription so we have chosen this over workable.

Cons

Team collaboration is nearly there eg additional attachments added by candidates are not visible to team. Not so granular access control generally. Start up subscription tier could be good. Video record of interview doesnt allow playback control (like fast forward). during the interview candidates, messages go to the hiring manager's email and not the interviewers. Video interview buggy still and can't work on mobiles. As access is only 5 minutes before the scheduled interviews, sometimes technical issues appear last minutes and we had to move to another platform.

Pros

Integrations of schedule! It's so nice to be able to use my current setup with Gmail. I already have scheduling software available, so this is great...I don't need to change anything! Simple and intuitive pipeline and funnel situation. Sooo many more things I love about this.

Cons

There are a few areas that I believe could be improved with a better description of what certain "fields" or "pictures" are specifically for. Nothing major, but you require that I put a con here lol!

Cons

The best part of Breezy is its simplicity and intuitiveness which make it fun to use and therefore great collaboration tool. Breezy offers any company to have in no time all the necessary tools to start recruiting properly: easy candidate creation, automatic job posting, candidate management, recruiting web page, employer branding options, referral tool and many more features are constantly added to improve UX. Support is reactive (during US working hours) and usually helpful.

Cons

Improvement could be made on localisation and the Breezy recruiting website. It is difficult to fully integrate to a company website and the presentation is fine for a small amount of positions but UX/UI can be affected if too many position (3 presentation options). There are no possibilities to register multiple locations for positions. Targeted jobboards are adapted for the US and improvement could be made for other countries (France)... some work needs to be done to be a perfect product outside of the US.

Some redundancies, but overall minimal cons to complain of with Breezy. It took some getting used to for team members set in their old ways, but imagining a life without it now just doesn't make sense.

My favorite thing about Breezy in my time using it is the interface -- notably the recruiting pipeline. It's super easy to set up and move people around in the pipeline.

Cons

I haven't really had any major qualms with it. It doesn't push out to as many job boards as I've seen elsewhere, but it has all the major ones. Like I said, the software is great. It has everything you'd look for in an ATS.

Pros

Different categories and heads are one good thing which I found. I'm trying to look for more like features in it but till now have not been able to.

Cons

It needs to be more user friendly and easy in features. It is very confusing for a user. As a part of Talent Acquisition process,any portal has to be easy & less confusing to use & get data from.

What I like the most about this software is the capacity of managing simply the information of possible candidates who should be assested and interviewed. It is user-friendly

Cons

There are still some problems inside the design of the software itself, as when you drag some profile to other place, it may fall in the wrong place by mistake, but theses are disadvantages which are not as big as the advantages it has to offer.

All candidates can be reviewed and screened very easily and gives me the information needed to decide which candidate that I want to consider for the position in our company.

Pros

I love that it stores all candidates, allows me to see resumes and it helps me to screen prospects with ease!

Cons

I have not found any part of the software that has not been useful for me. I am a new user to the program but I have not had any issues thus far. I would absolutely recommend the program to other groups.
