Breezy HR is a recruiting platform for small and midsize businesses. The solution provides functionality for applicant sourcing and tracking, resume parsing, and video interviews and more.

The application is cloud-based and features a dedicated app for iOS devices so recruiters can use the platform on the go. Breezy HR comes with EEOC reporting capabilities, customizable career pages, and the Restful API so developers can tweak the software to their needs.

With a drag-and-drop interface, users can customize their pipeline and organize applicants in whichever order they please. Recruiters can connect with candidates via email using custom templates, auto-responding and interview scheduling capabilities for fast response times and organization.

Users can source candidates from LinkedIn, AngelList and other sites using a Google Chrome extension, and can post openings to multiple job boards with a single click.

Breezy HR is available in a variety of pricing tiers based on the number of job openings an organization has.

    Pros

    Hiring is like a funnel of candidates that need to be filtered down through your hiring steps to find the very best qualified candidate. Breezy’s tool makes it so easy to do just that. It has a great UI that a non-tech person can learn on the fly, and what I love about it is that it keeps the funnel process collaborative and transparent. Seriously, use this tool, it’s awesome.

    Cons

    The support is a little lacking, but not in the best quality (they use Intercom), but to their credit, I haven’t needed to contact them much.

    My company no longer uses Breezy HR, but we did have at one point when we were smaller. It's great for smaller businesses - great if you have limited resources. One thing I always liked about Breezy is how great it makes a posted "live" job ad look. Breezy posts to different websites for you with the click of a button too, which is great - copying and pasting job ads is quite time consuming so the system does it for you. Good feature to be able to email directly from the software. Everyone on the team could learn it fairly easily.

    Cons

    There could be a better interface with LinkedIn and Indeed. Can't avoid technical glitches! I think if your company grows, you may need to look into other options. I have definitely seen better customer support with other ATS systems. It could also get with the times in terms of mobile support.

    Great customer service- very responsive!

    Pros

    Breezy allows me to create an automated hiring funnel, whereby I drag and drop candidates through the funnel, and Breezy automatically sends them the correct messages, assessments, and questionnaires. It also allow me to take notes and rate applicants. Overall quite helpful!

    Cons

    Not always intuitive- there has been a bit of a learning curve. Also there could be more features around automating hiring tests/assessments.

    Hiring for a startup with limited HR resources, a wide variety of roles, and many candidates.

    Pros

    Breezy manages the process of hiring like a Kanban board. Once you easily post listings, you can see candidates in each stage of your hiring process and manage them through one platform. Candidates can be sorted into categories based on fit, into columns to track status, and easily removed from the hopper. As you progress through stages, candidates also move to the right, making it easier to see who still needs attention. Emails to candidates are also automated if you want, cutting down another tedious or emotional step.

    Cons

    The big con of Breezy has nothing to do with the software. If you do not have a staff member or team on hand to manage the tool, like any other, it will not achieve what you want. Hire or move staff and make them responsible for Breezy, and hiring will be as easy as possible.

    I researched about 10 systems in depth about a year ago. I choose Breezy. Price and base needs were key to me. I got running quickly as it is process intuitive. I made a good choice. The company seems to be doing well.

    Pros

    Value for price is great
    It is laid out to follow the way that you recruit
    It is easy to use and very visual
    I like the modal pop-ups that bring the information and actions to you when you need them

    Cons

    It is somewhat new and certain items that you may want to configure, you can't
    The integration with Job Posting sites could be improved (indeed, glassdoor, etc.) - this requires both sides to play

    OMG & Breezy HR

    I manage the recruiting process for several locations and several positions, and Breezy has allowed me to centralize all resumes/candidates and organize discussions with hiring managers in real time. Breezy has streamlined so much of this process and is saving me a great deal of time from the organizational standpoint, so I am able to spend more time screening and interviewing.

    Pros

    Breezy HR is a easy to navigate, integrates well with my Indeed account, and a great communication tool to use with Hiring Managers across multiple companies and positions.

    Cons

    I would like to be able to filter notifications/inbox by job posting and would also like to see some additional filter features throughout the inbox and pipelines.

    It's a very useful tool for smaller businesses. You might not have the time to post new positions on all these job sites, but Breezy will submit to SEVERAL with just the click of a button. It's great for candidate tracking, and it also allows you to categorize them and even save their info for future positions.

    Cons

    I accidentally deleted a position and had to begin again, which forced me to have it post to job sites all over again. Maybe a option that warns you before it happens?

    Applicant Management - Also being able to run CBC directly from the portal.

    Pros

    I really like the ability to email directly from the software as well as the ability to place candidates in their corresponding pipelines. I also really like the reports I am able to run.

    Cons

    I don't like how the screen automatically moves if the mouse is to the far right or far left. I also think the site is a little slow, or sometimes has some technical glitches, which results in me sending the same email 3 times.

    So far, the platform has revolutionized how we hire. We were always operating in spreadsheets tracking candidate interviews and notes from hiring panel team members. It was complex, now it's simple with Breezy. As a hiring manager, I would never want to be without the support of this type of platform. One of the coolest features is the video interview to get to know your candidates remotely without having to pay to bring them into the office. Much better than over the phone!

    It is very agile, very simple and let us run recruitment projects in very transparent way. I like the fact that I can customise recruitment process for each role and for each external Clients. Really good piece of software.

    Every software has its limitations. We are users of Business version so perhaps features that aren't available could be hidden - like customised fields etc.

    The candidate score card feature, which allows different team members to rate candidates and so the overall team impression can be deduced.

    Cons

    How long it takes for search results to load. Looking up a candidate from the main interface takes a little longer than expected.
