Easy to use

PROS

I can keep track of payroll and taxes all on one easy to use program. It makes it easier to keep track of information and makes it more convenient to find your both payroll and taxes.

CONS

There's nothing that I didn't like about it.

Conflicted

I would say my experience has been reasonable. I like the software because I can manage my employees regular hours effectively. It only gets troublesome when I'm trying to account for overtime.

PROS

I like this payroll software because it allows me to easily manage my employee's hours, and monitor them accordingly.

CONS

What I liked least about this software was the fact that when pay periods end in the middle of the week, there isn't a way too see last pay periods hours so you can properly account for overtime since overtime is calculated between Sunday through Saturday.

Sneaky termination policies and not very responsive service

PROS

There was nothing ourstanding about the product or the service

CONS

They make termination difficult. We stopped needing the service in 2021 and informed them of our last payrol date. They never sent us termination forms or stressed that they were necessary when we told them that we no lonnger needed their services. They billed us under a different name and when we finally realized that they ahd continued to bill us for 2 years they told us it was out fault for not filling out a form they never sent. We told them we spoke on the phone with someone twice and they said too bad but their phone records don't go back that far so we can't prove it so they will not give us any money back.

I haven't had any problems using this payroll software. It did not take me to long to learn the software. So I liked it.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

Asure bought out our old payroll system (Compass) which was admittedly antiquated. My GL imports have been broken since I started, and getting it fixed is impossible. You just send emails into the void, and then, once a month or so, they will send you a question as if they are making progress.....but nothing EVER gets fixed. And if you want live support to get a problem resolved quickly? Forget about it. And it seems like every time I call up there, the employee is brand new and has no idea about anything. For example, we moved 401k providers and needed a report altered slightly- they wanted 700 dollars! I'm certainly not going to pay you more, when you haven't fixed ANY of the previous issues I have asked you about.

PROS

My payroll was run correctly and my employees got paid. That's about it.

CONS

Antiquated interface Reports constantly break & you can get ZERO support No ongoing training for new employees Astronomical ticket repair times and fees for things issues that arise Comical response time No live support

Very basic/Not Intuitive

From customer service to the actual product, it was not a good experience.

PROS

The upload provided for our financial system was accurate and usable

CONS

The entire system was not very intuitive or user friendly. Many areas of duplication of entry creating room for human error. Reporting did not provide "useable" reports. Our service provider could run a report in a usable format, but we were not able to run the same exact report in a usable format.

Reason for choosing Asure Payroll & Tax Management

A local payroll service provider recommended it and our leadership thought that there would be value in having that local support.

Seems like it could be better

The look of the logo and branding is great, but the software itself is just disappointingly clunky and outdated. From a user standpoint, it's not the best option. I hope it's better from an HR processing standpoint, otherwise there's not muse use in continuing its use.

PROS

I can't think of anything worth mentioning from a user standpoint that makes me appreciate this software, other than the fact that it is an effort to move things to digital... (But it took me less time to complete a paper form and there was less of a chance I'd end up having to explain my request when I was writing a paper form.)

CONS

There's nothing clear about navigating the webpage once you're logged in-- if you want to quickly look to see how much vacation or sick leave you have left, it's not clearly put in front of you. When you do navigate to a point you can request time off, if you don't have plans to be gone for a full day of work, it complicates things for the HR manager because you can't make your full vacation all part of the same leave request.
