Rippling still offers a robust variety of tools within it and as a smaller business, our company takes advantage of a variety of these tools. Namely Rippling Spend, Rippling Travel, Rippling MDM, and more.

Cons:

While the customer service with Rippling is exceptional, there seems to be a major issue with their Rippling MDM tool on older devices that seems to slow them down until they're near unusable. I'm not sure if this is directly the cause, but since its installation, the amount of unusable laptops at my company has increased dramatically. On newer laptops, there seems to be no issue.

Reasons for switching to Rippling

Our organization size was too large and had unique situations that would make it difficult to be efficiently managed on that platform.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to keep track of your team's attendance, PTOs, vacation days, and one-on-one sessions. There are rarely any issues with the page; I have never seen it crash. The IA it uses to assist you with concerns works great, so no customer support issues there. We get the time logged in from there, and we have never had any issues with payroll or time reported. I cannot speak of "Value for Money" or "Setup" since I am not in charge of those.

Cons:

If you are new, it takes a little time to get used to it. Also, it does not let you save your own favorite pages. Other than that, I think it works great.

Great application - incredibly useful for employers and employees.

I use Rippling every single day for work. I clock in and out. I check my timecards. I schedule and request my time off on it. I communicate with my supervisor through it. I read and sign contracts on it. I makes everyone's job so much easier and streamlined - all the typical "paperwork" but all in one single place online.

I like the new 1:1 feature my supervisor gets to use to give me feedback. I can refer to it whenever I want as a refresher. It keeps me accountable. And, it keeps us on the same page.

Cons:

There's nothing really that I dislike too much. Maybe a really accessible, obvious HELP button would be helpful. Or, technical help online - like a chat box in case you need help navigating or understanding something.

I’ve been using Rippling at work, and I’ve had a really great experience with it. What I like the most is how fast and straightforward the platform is. You don’t have to waste time navigating complicated menus—everything is well organized and easy to use from the start. I also really appreciate the clear organizational chart, which makes it simple to understand the team structure and quickly find anyone in the company. On top of that, it truly feels like it’s worth every dollar paid each month. Our HR team also uses it to manage and assign our salaries, which makes everything more transparent and organized. Another big plus is their customer support. Whenever we’ve had issues with the platform, they’ve responded quickly and worked efficiently on bugs or errors. For example, they once resolved a login issue in less than 2 hours, which really shows how responsive and reliable they are. Overall, it’s a very efficient tool that makes day-to-day HR management much easier.

Cons:

That said, one area for improvement would be customization. The platform doesn’t allow much flexibility to personalize certain features, and in many cases, it depends on a manager to make changes or updates, which can slow things down.

Rippling's intuitive UI/UX. The platform is easy to navigate, which makes managing HR processes much more efficient. Their customer support is also exceptional. One standout feature is the ability to hop on a live Zoom call with a support agent who can walk you through issues in real time when you feel stuck. Having payroll, HR, compliance, performance management, device management, and employee records all in one platform is incredibly convenient and helps streamline day-to-day operations.

Cons:

Like any tech platform, there's always room for improvement as features and integrations continue to evolve. The Workflow Studio and Recruiting app could be more user-friendly and offer greater customization. Workflow Studio has a learning curve, and additional training resources, updated articles, or courses would help users get up to speed more quickly. The Recruiting app is somewhat limited in terms of customization. For example, the hiring pipeline and interview plans require five stages, whereas our process only includes an application review, a final interview, and an offer stage. More flexibility in configuring recruiting workflows would make the tool more adaptable to different hiring processes.

What we like most about Rippling is how it brings payroll, HR, benefits, onboarding, and device management together in one easy-to-use platform. Our initial experience with Rippling’s ATS and HRIS products has been positive, with strong feedback from our employees on the slick onboarding experience. Their onboarding support for our PEO setup was very strong. We had an unusual situation involving an employee without an SSN, and the team handled it well, helping us work through the process quickly and clearly.

Initially, we were impressed by the depth of integration across Rippling’s products, especially ATS and HRIS. Following launch, we started working with them both in the U.S. as a PEO provider and in Ireland as an EOR provider. In both cases, they have been responsive, flexible and able to meet tight timelines around our preferred start dates.

Cons:

Rippling is currently not able to pay contractors in local currency, so we are still using another provider for contractors based in the Philippines.

Pros:

I use rippling for HR core tasks and i really like its automation capabilities. Automation part is great because routine HR tasks like sending offer letter or documents can be automated easily. Previously, sending offer letters, NDAs, or onboarding materials was fully manual. Also, customer service is quite responsive and helpful. Rippling helps us manage our employees’ data efficiently, making onboarding and tracking time off and attendance super easy

Cons:

The current Slack integration is a bit basic. I really need it to automatically notify managers on Slack whenever someone applies for time off. For a workaround, we actually built a custom integration for this. Also, the initial setup is a bit hard, but it's worth it.
