Perfect staff planing
Papershift is for us a big simplification for the personnel planning. Each department can individually arrange its planning, if an employee works in several departments the planning is very clear and well to coordinate. The support is courteous, reacts quickly and is always open for desired changes, furthermore there are regular updates and improvements.
CONSUnfortunately not every function from the premium or professional tariff can be booked individually.

poor overall impression
Everyone is hating papershift (also the responsible) in our company. I can't take my free time because Papershift is not able to calc it SINCE 6 MONTHS !!!
PROSnothing, but it is very colourful :-(
CONSChanges from superior are not reported by email, time calculation not working since 6 month, confusing design, chat support is very awkward

easy-to-use
I like mosteley the planning and vocation tool
CONSthe support / features could be more designated to customers wants. Sometimes some functions just change or get replaced without any possibility to stay at the old status. When asking support they tell, that they will check, but in 2 cases for us nothing happened.

The one tool I use everyday
There are functionalities for everything I need. It fits perfectly in my daily job. It helps me to manage my times, organise my vacations, track my overtimes.
PROSEasy to use tool with all the necessary options and beyond. It helps me easily manage, track and organise my times on a daily basis.
CONSI basically like everything. However the mobile app wasn't on its best, but the web app is good enough to cover the mobile need as well.

The apt forware for your payroll attendance tracking
This has been nice and satisfactory to business needs making it worth the deal
PROSThe easiness of punch-in & out for employees, the leave balance, hour balance is clearly shown. The application of leave and work tags make it easier to communicate with the administrator.
CONSThe onboarding can be more helpful overall but it was still good.

Very easy to use
I use every week to check the shifts at work, which is very simple and easy.
PROSI like how simple and easy the app is to use that it is helpful to what I need to do.
CONSI had some difficulties finding extra settings. I want to use more than I usually do.

Excellent product
Overall we had a great experience with Papershift so far. Especially the support is excellent and very supportive when one is having issues or need help with certain features.
PROSAt our doctors office we were looking for an easy to use software to track our employees working hours. With the support from the Papaershift team it was easy and really straightforward. It’s easy to use for the daily tasks and even the monthly accounting based on the Papershift reports is much easier and faster.
CONSSometimes I had some difficulties to find the right settings in the many different settings pages. But as one doesn’t need those on a daily base, it‘s not a big deal.
Reason for choosing Papershift
We gave Papershift a try because of a recommendation of a colleague. After a trial period, we decided to continue with it for the reasons above.

Bye bye to cumbersome excel worksheets !
Got rid of cumbersome excel worksheets GIven access to to employees More dynamic shift plans
PROSWithin a short time I got rid of the excel worksheet which I used to to my shift planning. Now I can also ask other employees to do this work and the employees love it because they get access to it from their smartphones. I am not using all features but the extract of worked hours goes straight into my accounting system.
CONSI am looking for a more direct way to print the shift plan without going through export and download. But at the rate of change the product is experiencing I think this will come soon.

A versatile and easy to use Tool
It was good. I barely had any problems and would recommend using it for your company.
PROSThe simpleness. Being able to do your work and applying your times easily, without hassle.
CONSA little bit slow and that it's accessed through a website. A dedicated app would be much better.

Ein unfertiges Tool, das leider nicht weiterentwickelt wird
Ich weiß nicht, welches Business mit diesem Tool sauber arbeiten soll - "normale Unternehmen" auf jeden Fall nicht. Vielleicht ist es für die Gastro oder für Kneipen brauchbar, aber auf gar keinen Fall für klassische Betriebe/GmbHs
PROSDie Zeiterfassung hat grundsätzlich funktioniert, allerdings gab es viel zu viele Bugs und Fehler, die auch diese Grundfunktionalität massiv beeinträchtigen.
CONS- Der Preis wurde ohne Rücksprache erhöht, obwohl die Nutzeranzahl verringert wurde, Rückfragen hierzu wurden ignoriert - Grundlegende Funktionen sind nicht fehlerfrei nutzbar. Selbst das Aushängeschild, die Zeiterfassung, hat unfassbar lächerliche Fehler und Lücken in der Logik - Für jede kleinste Standardfunktionalität wird ein Aufpreis berechnet, in anderen Tools ist das nicht so - Fehler werden nicht behoben - Das Produkt wurde in 14 Monaten Nutzung in keinster Art und Weise weiterentwickelt, es tut sich nichts - Urlaube und Krankheiten zu verwalten ist ein absoluter Krampf, hierfür ist das Tool unübersichtlich und nicht zu gebrauchen - Kalenderansicht kann nur auf 3-6-12 Monate angesehen werden...? - Vorgesetzte können fast unmöglich zugewiesen werden, die Zuweisung generell ist absolut chaotisch und unbrauchbar

Nachfragen per E-Mail oder Chat werden innerhalb weniger Stunden beantwortet. Telefonisch sind wir Mo-Fr 9-17 Uhr erreichbar. Ich interpretiere in die Logikfehler, dass wir Deinen Anwendungsfall in Papershift nicht vollständig abbilden konnten. Wenn in Deinem Fall noch zusätzliche Bugs aufgetreten sind, möchten wir uns dafür entschuldigen. Papershift ist eine Platform, die es Organisationen ermöglicht, Personaleinsatzplanung besser zu regeln. Dabei müssen wir Themen priorisieren, die einen Großteil unserer Kunden betreffen. Hier kommt es leider auch vor, dass wir spezielle Anwendungsfälle mit separaten (kostenpflichtigen) Individuallösung ergänzen müssen. Habe mich nur geärgert, damit ist jetzt schluss. Ich werde kündigen.
PROSDie Software ist übersichtlich aufgebaut und intuitiv nutzbar.
CONSDer Support ist sehr schlecht, Probleme werden nicht gelöst. Teilweise laufen drei Zeiterfassungen eines Mitarbeiters gleichzeitig. Das Problem wurde seit 6 Monaten nicht behoben.

The best choice we made in the last year!
We use Papershift for the management of our two restaurants and are very happy that we made the choice for it although the price deterred us. After four months, a lot of gain in time of our leaderships and a lot of appreciated reduction of bureaucracy we really recommend this software!
PROSThe ease of use, the great support (chat or by telephone) and the possibility to make changes in the shiftplan and inform the staff simultaneously without the need to use group chats or so on.
CONSBy now there’s honestly nothing I could complain about. I’d prefer using an app for admins but as far as I know they are already developing one. Furthermore it’s very easy to use it via safari- I can wait until the app is done.

Papershift for HCM
Papershift is an excellent tool for HCM.
PROSThe Papershift software is very user friendly and the many videos are extremely helpfull for a quick start. Everything is very intuitive and easy to establish. The Papershift App for time logging makes it very easy to keep track of the working time for field service employees.
CONSA test time of 2 weeks is very short if the project is introduced to a new client.
