Great Software for Production

A Game Changer! Wish we had this years ago!

I have been absolutely delighted with Shopworks, the ease of use for myself and my team, the overall visibility it has provided and the multiple benefits realised by our business. The account manager support provided by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been excellent.

PROS

This has honestly been a game changer for the business. We were in the dark ages prior to shopworks, with paper everywhere. Scanning, emailing, copying, posting, phonecall's....you name it we had every time stealer going which simply made our staff scheduling and payroll process inefficient, cumbersome and super frustrating for all involved. The key element for my team is the improved visibility of all store shift patterns, allowing us to align with our footfall data and ultimately drive conversion and deliver payroll savings. We have achieved scheduling consistency across the retail estate. We identified (and amended) a number of strange legacy custom and practises which would have taken months to uncover with our paper based process. The dashboard is really easy to access, navigate with a great layout. Our finance and HR teams have also been far more productive. Finance saving perhaps 10 hours each week on a monday/tuesday and again at month end. HR colleagues experienced a dramatic reduction in store contacts following each pay run. Importantly our store colleagues love this....it provides them with ease of access to their current & future shifts, availability, time off requests and the most important one of all, it has dramatically improved the accuracy of their pay and holiday entitlement, both of which were a constant pain point prior to Shopworks implementation. Our Retail field team have also become far more efficient as a result.

CONS

Project kick off and the early integration was initially a little "bumpy" however this was driven by a project/account manager who was out of his depth. This was quickly resolved by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and the team. We then moved on to a smooth implementation and successful pilot and roll out.

Reason for choosing ShopWorks

The Shopworks team were straight forward, transparent, honest and approachable during the pitch process. The fit with our organisation felt good. They were super flexible. Timescales for implementation and costs were favourable. Reference's provided for validation were very positive.

A Money Saver

Very positive. The core product works really well for our retail and service teams and management. They've listened if we've had a problem and resolved any issues we've had in good time. Bottom line is that it saved us money, continues to do that, so much more than pays for itself.

PROS

It allowed us to quickly and fairly seamlessly implement a system to manage hours, our biggest variable cost, much better. It saved us money throughout the business on hourly payroll but also helped us see more easily where we could allocate people/hours/money more coherently. And it was, is, great vfm compared with other much clunkier options many of us have used.

CONS

There was a little bit of customization but that was back in the day and even working with the time difference of UK to USA (we're in multiple states) it wasn't a problem.

Reason for choosing ShopWorks

People were more interested in dealing with a smaller account. But easier to use and customize, much much better vfm all round.

Shopworks - Flexible and Adaptable System

Excellent, great product, easy to adapt to our rules, procedures and pay structure, great support team

PROS

Initial Setup - Shopworks was bought and introduced to my organisation, it was easy to add in our very complicated procedures and rates of pay. Training - End User training was rolled out over 250 venues easily Support - the support was excellent, always on the end of a phone, visits when required, always quick to respond

CONS

No real issues with the system, problems we encountered were dealt with as we hit them by a very supportive support team.

Reason for choosing ShopWorks

Adaptability to our systems, support team, price (not a cheap product but when all things were discussed was the best fit, at the most reasonable price for our organisation) sales team were very good

Ver good and Customer Service response time is very good

Not being able to add multiple leave requests for 1 day-ie cannot easily add annual leave and lieu time for 1 shift.

User Friendly

Shopworks has helped us to bring in line rotas with demand on staffing and helped us to see what and where we need to focus. This is a great product.

I find shopworks a bonus to my job, as i can keep a track of all meetings with colleagues in their own portal

PROS

ease of use, Reports for keeping track of sickness, time off, Holidays. Training tools means you can set goals, reaching everyone at the same time.

CONS

Would like to see the original not available back as we have quite a few part time and students who cannot work certain days and times.

Introducing time and attendance

Shopworks Is A Valuable Staff Management Tool

I found it relatively easy to use with a small amount of training. I am a new user, so I expect there is some functionality which I am yet to discover.

PROS

It's very intuitive. Easy to navigate and locate information. The reporting function is invaluable in terms of providing key data.

CONS

Sometimes simple tasks (adjusting pay) are not quite so easy to do. It would help to have guidance with Shopworks to assist in certain areas.

PROS

It's very easy to compile a weeks rota for staff as you can clearly see when and where staff are needed. It's also very helpful that all accepted holiday requests are automatically added to the rota.

Having to scroll on the time off planner to see future months instead of being able to choose the month required on a calendar.

Great app for employees

Overall I would recommend and I thought it was an excellent app all issues were resolved with support easy to access

It made it very easy to clock in and out of work as it was a simple tap of my phone on a scanner. Took less than 5 seconds to clock in and out. Also kept track of hours I worked
