Efficient and valuable
From the moment we jumped on board to the present day, Skillsarena has provided amazing customer service. We can't thank them enough for helping shape our recruitment process, saving us time, and providing the software to enable us to find the right people for the job.
PROSFrom start to finish the platform is easy to navigate, very user-friendly and has enabled us to assess our candidates in a quick efficient manner. With the tests automatically marking, our recruitment process time has been halved. We are quickly able to check which candidates meet the requirements for the job allowing us to shortlist the right people for the role.
CONSNo cons, it's easy to use, the test range is great.

Skills Arena Testing - Would not be without it
Fantastic and responsive business with ever-helpful staff. They always want to go the extra mile to support our business and take time to explain features and benefits very carefully.
PROSSecom use the system for an array for features and predominantly for Personality Profiling. It provides an excellent insight into the candidate makeup and one that you may not ordinarily see during the interview process. It allows us to position questions to tease out salient responses from candidates who may not have ordinarily wanted to cover potentially difficult/weaker areas. The colour wheel also allows us to ensure that team members will work well together and complement one another.
CONSI really cannot think of any major negatives.
Reason for choosing skillsarena
The tests are easy to administer and the results are comprehensive, but not overwhelming. The team took the time to explain how their system would integrate and benefit Secom and were not overly pushy to close. There was/is a personal touch to Skills Arena that you simply do not find in many companies these days.

Best value adding software solution
SA are extremely easy to deal with. They go out of their way to make sure their solution is always adding value, by streaming processes and providing the insight you need to operate effectively.
PROSEverything component of the SA solution adds value and is straightforward to use and deploy. A real value adding part of our toolkit.
CONSThere are so many options it can be tricky to stay focused on just using core value adding functionality.

Skills Testing
Great experience, Vicky was very helpful in recommending options best suited for our needs.
PROSSkillsarena is a great platform to assess our candidates efficiently and effectively. It is straightforward to use and has provided an additional tool in the selection process. There are a number of other assessments that look useful to add when we next review our assessments.
CONSNothing specific - it can be difficult to see the text boxes when adding users/candidates thus need to move it to another screen for visibility.

Testing and screening of candiates
Its enabled us to have a good idea of their profile ahead of interview meaning we have more insights into th areas of competencies and team fit that we can explore more.
PROSThe wide variety of options meaning we can screen / test for skills across a multitude of departments and levels. In addition the personality profile adds a great dimension.
CONSThe remote feature isn't always seamless in that it can go into a candidate's junk mail. There is a good work around for this but it could be better.

Review of Skillsarena
The platform has added an additional unbiased element to our hiring stage and helped us to make more informed decisions.
PROSFirstly, the customer service is excellent and so responsive. The platform itself is pretty easy to use and there is a good range of pre-loaded tests to cater for most roles. The grading system is good and easy to use.
CONSA few more specific tests for the legal industry and the UX could be a bit better. There isn't the opportunity as an Admin to view the test to determine if its relevant for the role you are assessing against, although this does get sent out very quickly if you email your Account Manager.

Easy to use and adds genuine value to your model
Easy to use Pre-employment tests are varied and what we required Great service from the team - always on hand when needed / something which does differentiate itself from the competition
CONSNot a huge amount to dislike for our business needs, I would presume larger businesses may opt for this to be integrated as part of their HR / Recruitment system

Skills Arena - outlook and personality tests
Customer service was incredible - so fast and very attentive and helpful

It does exactly what they say it will do...
Great. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is passionate about what he does and convinced me of the merits of his produce within a very short space of time
PROSI have used and recommended Skills Arena since I first met [SENSITIVE CONTENT] some 7 or 8 years ago. Whilst I am not a complete IT dinosaur , it was good to know [SENSITIVE CONTENT] support team were on hand to manage my shortcomings.
CONSNo down side, it does what it does, and very well.
