Best job portal

I use career builder daily and it's a fantastic tool to search non technical professional.

PROS

I use this job portal daily. It is easy to use in short a user friendly product.It also helps the recruiter with the similar job titles which helps in the search.

CONS

The advance search of this portal should be improved

Easy, quick, and dependable to use

PROS

Career Builder is an easy-to-use Job Board that I recommend to my friends and organizations because I think it works on real-time updates so you can see when it's available. For three years, my team and I have been using Career Builder. Searching and posting on Career Builder is much easier than on other job boards. He helped us fill positions when we couldn't find enough people; the number of candidates accessible on Career Builder is sufficient. CB seems to be the most effective sourcing program to fill low-wage positions.

CONS

There's not much to dislike except that there should be a comment box where users can write down what they said to this candidate. It will also save time for candidates and recruiters. Sometimes we don't get solid resumes for specific talents. Some CVs are outdated. There are not enough qualified candidates. The search algorithm does not match.

Fantastic Hiring Platform With Qualified Applicants And Useful Dashboard Features

The advanced search is excellent and very useful for finding qualified candidates with certain expertise. Using cutting-edge AI techniques, finding and selecting applicants is simple. We can use this platform to post jobs.

PROS

On Career Builder, sourcing and posting are much simpler than on other sites. The most effective sourcing tool for low pay rate requirements. I can use its database's advanced boolean search and keyword search to find candidates that match the job description's particular keywords and skill sets.

CONS

There aren't enough experienced, highly technical profiles. Many resumes were out of date. There aren't enough qualified applicants.

Good To Source Candidates For Broad Sensed Positions

It helps me to close entry-level and mid-level positions. Its UI is easy to use. Its advanced search is pretty good and helps to source good quality resumes.

PROS

It is a good platform to source quality resumes and job postings. It has great filters that work well and provide good results. It is pretty easy to use and has a user-friendly interface.

CONS

It has a lack of technical databse and most of the resumes are outdated. The search algorithm does not work properly and provides irrelevant results. There can be a comment section so that we can put what we have discussed with the candidate.

Feedback on why someone should use it. Very effective and helpful.

I work for a staffing company and I work for respective clients hence I use this software to pull/search candidates. Whenever I find any good candidate and submit it to the client and once we have an interview for that candidate hence that leads to hiring or an offer. That is providing us with business and this is how it is helping me to make salary and incentives.

PROS

Searching candidates on any positions and for any locations. Multiple options to filter the search for pulling/searching the candidates on any respective jobs.

CONS

Overall I liked all. Good database software.

Most Results for Recruiting

Overall this tool is great and the most used Job Board in our business. We are within the staffing space and without access to CareerBuilder we would not be successful.

PROS

The number of results/candidates that CareerBuilder has is what stands this tool out compared to others. Also, the user-friendliness of the UI is positive. The website is very easy to use and provides plenty of potential applicants. The filtering is also great and the candidates seem to be up to date for the most part.

CONS

There is not any vetting of candidates or resumes. You will get a large number of duplicate candidates or resumes. Also, there are a lot of shops that post generic resumes that do not have any contact information. I wish that CB required at least a active phone number or email address.

Easy to Use but Outdated Resumes

PROS

Creating strings can be a bit tricky at first but this feature comes in really handy once you're habitual to strings. It makes it really easy for us to find suitable candidates with relevant experience.

CONS

The resumes showcased are usually outdated and the candidates are no longer interested in any position. The database should be updates daily or at least weekly. The candidates should be aware of their resumes being put up to be reached out by recruiters because we often get irritated candidates desperately wanting to get their names "off the list".

I love it so much I bought it

I used the free version and AVG together for the longest time and ended up paying for this one for active protection (it catches viruses while I use it instead of only when I run scans) because it seemed to catch more problems.

PROS

I love how it caught viruses other programs didn't, and I like it so much I made it my active protection and paid for it.

CONS

I haven't found anything that other anti-virus does better.

Reasons for switching to CareerBuilder

Malwarebytes seemed to catch more viruses.

Career Builder Applicant Tracking System is Phenomenal

This software utilizes the top of the line industry technology to help recruiters and job seekers attain positive results in the staffing industry. I am very impressed with the overall ease of use, and results given when you are properly trained on the system.

PROS

This software helps with tracking, applicant processing and sourcing, as well as the capabilities of utilizing their own drug screening and background check services. Overall, I really like the many uses of its technology and functionality, and the ease of use when properly trained. They have in house training seminars and support and everything that has to do with technical support is easily available and ready to help you in the job searching, and recruiting functions.

CONS

Some of the systems many technical and support systems have glitches every once in a while, which is common to applicant tracking systems these days. There is a lot to learn and usage could be problematic if you are not trained properly on this system. The cost is also fairly steep with it's competitors. But honestly, you do get what you pay for with additional helpful features.

CareerBuilder for Recruiters

Overall, CareerBuilder is a great tool for recruiters especially for finding pool of candidates for your requisitions.

PROS

I've been using CareerBuilder since I started my recruiting career and it helped me get a lot of pool candidates on the requisitions that I'm working on. I love its feature where you can filter your search for specific types of candidates that you're looking for.

CONS

What I don't like about the CareerBuilder feature is the filter for the location where you specifically put a 25-mile radius but still will give you certain candidates that are within 30-35 mile radius which makes me get some candidates who are not interested because of the location.

Good volume of resumes/candidates, ease of use

PROS

I found that it provides a strong source for a pipeline of candidates. From postings we are able to track and organize candidates to specific jobs and everyone in our company has real time status of recruiting. We have made a lot of hires from the site and plan to continue using it in the futurel. What do you dislike?

CONS

Too many unqualified people for higher level/ more technical jobs Not great for the IT positions. I find that I spend a lot of time reviewing underqualified resumes to find the matches. Customer service is ok, very hands off, which has it's pros and cons. They do not offer a lot of assistance unless you ask for it.

My overall experience with CareerBuilder Applicant Tracking is that it has a ton of qualified candidates to filter through and it helps with my job overall tremendously.

PROS

What I like most about CareerBuilder Applicant Tracking Review is the ease of the software. As a recruiter, I use this software every single day to find candidates for my clients and it is a very easy software to use.

CONS

What I like least about this software is the preview section. I would like it to be easier for me to preview a resume and be able to toggle back to the resumes/candidates easier.

Good product that took a nose dive

10 years ago, this was an awesome product. Primary source for advertising jogs and finding candidates. This used to be a go to place for professional candidates. That is all gone. Can not find professional candidates now. Search engine does not work properly.

PROS

Name recognition. Well know in multiple industries for decades.

CONS

Usability took a nose dive over the past several years. Platform just doesn't work any more.

Career Builder:Builds careers on both sides

PROS

This is one the most reliable job boards I have ever used. Simple and efficient would be the two words that would come to mind. It makes finding candidates easy, regardless of what position you are working on. Having that mental note that you can find someone qualified regardless if you are working on a white collar job or a blue collar job makes recruiters like me somehow breathe easier. Career builder not only allows you to help people find jobs but it also allows you to yours as well as a recruiter.

CONS

The accuracy of location, whenever I search for around 20miles, I do get people that are 30miles away.
