A Superbly simple yet very effective tool, I always enourage people to use it.
Useful insights in to how the team mood changes over time, great for retros to tease out any impediments or unlying issues from the teams
PROSAgile Principle #10 - Simplicity - Maximise the amount of work not done. Beautifully illustrated in this tool, a very simple tool to work with, but provides very sophisticated insights into your teams mood over a sprint / PI / Project / Year etc. etc. Great to use in Retros and Inspect and Adapt sessions to deal with any long running issues and to get team members to engage in these ceremonies
CONSI'm really scratching around to find a Con, the only caveat I would say is if you do not act on the information this tool gives you then you will find despite its simplicity people will stop using it , but again thats not the fault of the Team Mood.

TeamMood
We engaged with TeamMood to support a greater awareness of emotional wellbeing. Creating awareness was a key objective in supporting our Mental Health & Wellbeing Program, and we wanted a tool that would help drive awareness and keep this top of mind. TeamMood is embedded in our rhythms and supports individual and team conversations on a weekly basis about how people are feeling, not just what they are working on. Our leadership team reviews the team results on a weekly basis to talk about the results.
PROSTeamMood is a practical and effective tool for the business. The design creates a fun and easy user experience encouraging a positive engagement with our teams. The tool is easy to set up and manage, and the customer support is excellent.
CONSNot much to add here. The tool serves our current needs. Like other systems and tools we look for ways of integrating and creating a seamless experience for our people. Perhaps understanding if this function would be available to integrate with Workday and other HRIS.

I liked the tool as soon as I saw it and it met our needs.

Verification Process
The verification process is cumbersome and often times will lead me to closing out of Team Mood and not utilizing it for the day. Clicking on the pictures to verify that I am not a robot makes the task difficult if my understanding of a street light and the systems understanding of a street light are not in sync. Multiple tries and multiple fails causes me to not want to use the system anymore. I don't know if it is a Company thing or a Team Mood thing, but it needs to be addressed so that other users can use the Software as intended.
PROSI enjoy being able to see and track the mood of my team so I may more easily communicate with them and understand the mindset they might be in during the day.

This is an incredibly useful tool for us with multiple teams, I highly recommend its use
The ability to spot trends when the team mood starts to drop or increase and taking appropriate actions, the fact that it is anonymous is also really good as it allows the teams to be able to be truly honest about how their day went. I love this tool, so simple but so effective. The comments section can also lead to some amusing posts .
PROSGives good insights into the teams mood over a period of time, the Analytics are good but you can extend them using the RESTful API to use in other BI tools and dashboards. It is also very useful for use in Retrospectives as a conversation starter. i.e. I notice the team mood has been decreasing in the past couple of sprints what is causing the downturn and what can we do to get back to our happy place.
CONSdon't seem to be able to delete team members just disable them, would be handy to be able to transfer people between teams rather than configure them twice and disable them in one team and enable them in another but this is a minor complaint.

A great tool for feeling the mood of the team especially on multiple locations
This tool helps me daily on feeling the mood of my teams. These teams are geographically dispatched and it's very hard to see how people are feeling on the remote. Thanks to TeamMood, I've been able to solve issues before they became important. On the other hand, sometimes you think that a team is in trouble and it is not the case. The good thing is also that the creator of TeamMood is very strict on the feature he implements on it and this ensures that it won't deviate from its original spirit. Great idea and well implemented!
PROSVery easy to put in place, user friendly and with very strict limitations that guaranty the privacy of the users.
CONSPerhaps, I can mention some limitations on backend features (on the admin side) but it is real because this field is required.

Efficient and adapted
It's sometimes difficult to make management admit that measuring Mood is important. Especially in Agility. Today, everybody agrees that an happy employee offers better performance, and good performing usually makes employees happy, but nobody wants to invests in tools for following up this "happy" factor without at least 28 meetings and 46 pilots, proof of concepts etc. ... ? Weird ... Is'nt it ? At the end, it works. ;)

CONSSome features can still go further. Combined stats, keywords, language translations ... It's just the beginning

Perfectly Simple
We have used this tool to identify negative feelings/challenges when they are in their infancy, before they have bubbled up. Although we don't know exactly who it's coming from, it's a sign that there are issues brewing. It's also a way to gauge how a negative experience at your organization is really impacting employees, versus your perception of that impact. The biggest challenge is that not everyone has the same definition of what an "excellent" versus "good" day is, so it helps to set some guidelines around those definitions.
PROSThis is a tool that anyone can figure out. I like that the responses are anonymous, which encourages honestly. It's simple and accomplishes exactly what it claims. It's a great way to keep a pulse on something that is difficult to gauge - employee happiness. It takes less than five seconds out of my day and I can rate my day in an email (where I live anyway) without even going to the website.
CONSI don't have any complaints about this software.

Love Seeing How My Teammates' Day Went
Overall, I love TeamMood and I'm pretty sure my whole team does too. We've even incorporated TeamMood as one of our team's OKRs to improve this quarter. This makes us think of ways to help the team's mood.
PROSI liked the easy and simple UI. There was not a single learning curve to it as everything was straightforward and simple. I love the analytics or the charts that can be pulled up to link moods to perhaps a time that the company went through many changes, etc.
CONSI want to be able to reply to my teammates' comments anonymously. Maybe the reason this is unavailable is due to not displaying anything that brings down someone's comment but we're a good group here that wouldn't do that. I think it would just bring more morale building to the platform.

Easy Team Engagement/Check-ins
Experience has been nothing but positive. The TeamMood group are always quick to respond when an issue arises and are proactive in reaching out for feedback.
PROSThe ease of setting up and logging daily moods for my team is excellent. It provides a great historical data base for review of team engagement, and when reviewed in more detail at our weekly team call spurs great conversation around what is impacting our ratings. On several occasions it has also targeted a great discussion on self-care/employee well-being, and reaching out for help when needed.
CONSThere really isn't much negative to say. Only comment I have so far is it would be nice to be able to look back at your prior moods logged to see your own personal trend over time in addition to the team views.

A simple tool that lives up to its promise: Measuring your team's mood without being intrusive.
Thanks to TeamMood I gained interesting insights into our team's dynamics. I can pinpout hard times and joyful moments of individual colleagues and of our team as a whole. With TeamMood we have a now a mean to reflect upon our wellbeing at ekito.
PROSWhat I like most about TeamMood is its seamless non-intrusive way of capturing team feedback: It requires you to reply to one simple email everyday. You make two clicks and in 10 seconds you are set! The users is immediately rewarded with an insightful visualisation of his team's overall mood as well as its pogression over time.
CONSI am really happy with the tool as it is right now. The analytics page might need a little revamp and stats beyond the average mood could be a great add on.

The tool is very easy to use and funny.
Overview of the entire department mood, spot unhappy teams and to talk with them to know why and take action.
PROSIt's easy to use and easy to manage team settings. The different views, diagram and chart are really useful. Being able to add tags to people enable us to see the mood of a single team as well as the whole department. Thanks
CONSIt will be nice to attach a comment of a specific day. For example, mark this day as a celebration day ou a big bug bash day. So when we look the stats, we can explain why people were really happy, or sad, this day.

The tool fits exactly the needs of our kanban team : simple, readable, fun, available.
Team building, fun, feedback, better quality at work.
PROSSimplicity, availability, fun. We can mix team. The tags are very useful, and the team takes fune to contribute every days. Statistic are very important for our retrospectives. The best feature for us are the comments which are so fun and useful to explain retrospectively sometimes. the developper in always available to answers ou remarks. we feel a real care on usability on this tool.

Easy experience, with a few glitch from the web page when wanting to vote at the end of a day.
Fills a gap for my KPI, where team mood is a great factor for success. It is visual, it has an API for my KPI use. The team also likes it as they know their boss cares about their well being.
CONSSomehow, and while it is easy to use, user engagement is not so easy to get. Out of 10 people, I have maybe half that do regularly, and the others not. I also think that somehow, spam filters do catch quite a few emails.

Very good application to use the Niko-Niko method with your teams.
A better understanding of the mood and feeling of teams on a daily basis. Understand if there are recrurent phases that are more difficult for the teams.
PROSIt is very useful for agile teams! This application is easy to handle.

Clever software
Love it. I have always recommended it to others.

TeamMood: easy tool to track the mood of your team members
The software is giving a lot of insight into your team. The major problem is keeping the team members engaged and make sure they update it every day. Especially on busy days people tend to skip... I still need to find a way to solve this.
PROSIt is a very easy to use tool to keep anonymously track of the mood of all team members. You receive an email every day in which you have to choose your mood. You can add some remark. You are very quickly and continue with your work.
CONSThe interface is very basic, but gets the job done. Maybe some more analytics could be added, like average mood per day of the week, so you could see if there is some pattern emerging.

An excellent way of tracking your team's happiness.
Get an insight in the team's happiness. If the mood drops, you can investigate the causes. A happy team is a productive team. Team Mood helps with that.
PROSEasy to use, little effort for the team members to enter their sentiment for the day, and to add comments if required. Reporting tool is great. We periodically go through the comments, and have a great time identifying who has written what. Fun team exercise.
CONSThe team like using it, so we can't think of anything at this point in time that could improve the tool.

Enjoyed and benefited from the opportunity to review different moods and mine. It has been a good tool to help measure this.
PROSThe anonymity to discuss and post how individuals are feeling about the pandemic, working environments and general approach to lockdown.
CONSThe tool would benefit from more detailed analytics (i.e. in depth trend analysis to support the data collated) resilience tools that are available to cope with overexposure to stressful events).

perfect for offshore teams
It's perfect to monitor team feeling and feedback anonymously so they speak out freely. Helpful with offshore teams especially during covid to know who they are doing and how they feel. Helpful also in decision making to retain employees or adjust ur project plan if needed
CONSModerating it is somehow limited. As administrator I expect more easiness in adjusting errors without going back to TeamMood team.

Good experience for understand team behavior
I have enjoy very much the tool, by looking the graphic and comparing with week feeling, gives clues to understand what happens. My impression, it should be very useful for understanding and act over projects / operations teams.
PROSIt's easy to use, sends you an e-mail reminder to assign your mood every day and is anonymous.
CONSAs I used only my own, it was very controlled atmosphere, so not how to review this item.

Great way to look back at the week
ability to see how everyone feels over time!
PROSI love that you can see how you and your team feel on a weekly/monthly basis and adjust as needed. Its amazing as you forget sometimes how hard or fun a week or two weeks ago was.
CONSNot currently able to update the text that the email sends out. Would be nice to make it fit more of our culture but my team understands.

Very helpful and non-obtrusive tool to monitor your team's mood.
Super easy to get teh team to use it (just a click on a link from an email)! The interface is clear and managing your teams is a breeze. Comments are more useful than what one may think.
CONSFor teams that iterate for say, 2 weeks sprints, it could be easier to follow the evolution of the team's mood over time.

Leading indicator of my team's performance
PROSA great instrument for scrum masters, team leads, agile coaches, agile hr... the health and happiness of a team is a leading indicator of happy customers
CONSI'd love to see a slack integration. And also "scatter" diagram for the existing "average" plotting function.
