Codelobster PHP Edition is a pretty stable, feature-rich PHP IDE with support for many frameworks and Content Management Systems. It provides effective debugging with in-built database connections and server integration. It is also quite handy in mapping out PHP and HTML files.

This IDE could definitely use a UI update. Its UI is quite outdated and doesn't look so good when you stack it up against other modern IDEs.

Overall, I have enjoyed using Codelobster IDE. It has most of the features you are looking for as a developer. There is also support for other languages besides PHP, so that is a nice bonus.

Codelobster is great for large projects because how easily it can group files and assign them .Highlighting is very useful and saves a lot of time when it comes to debugging . Being able to collapse the code also helps what that.

Outside of the program being fairly hard to learn , I do not feel there are any negatives worth mentioning .

I use it to create and debug my php code because it's excellent for that.

An IDE with good features, it has all kinds of options and for all the occasion, it has several options to upload files directly through FTP and it also has support for many programming languages, it is excellent to create web applications, you can even download add-ons for the language you want.

Although its interface is customizable it is still very old, however it has everything we can ask to start any development I recommend it.

I am very impressed with the plugins available for many of the popular frameworks out there like WordPress, Joomla, Magento and so many more. They really went out of their way to make CodeLobster IDE one of the best out there.

I do like everything about the IDE but if I should pick one thing, I think the interface could be improved. The top Icons are all over the place and so many of them. Easy to get confused. But still one of the best out there!

Using and testing all kinds of editors is a very good idea, since the programmer will always look for the best for their development environment.

I like its maneuverability for the code development environment under the HTML, CSS, JavaScript languages and of course PHP is very useful, because it concentrates on common languages and simple debugger.

It needs even more tools to make codelobster a good free IDE, but the rest is pay, I think they could provide more options to the user.

It has excellent autocomplete tools, especially when JQuery is installed. It allows to show compatible browsers with the css code that you are writing. It has a free version and is a huge advantage since most IDEs are paid or consume too many resources in the system.

I do not like its interface. It looks somewhat outdated but it fulfills exactly its function, being the fastest and most efficient IDE.

The interface is not up to the big development IDE. But it is a great tool that does not take much RAM and is easy to use.

I really liked the implementation of all the various IDE functionalities you could expect from a modern IDE, but all in one lightweight program. Everything was contained within one window which I thought was great, made it a lot easier to work with multiple projects. Really appreciated support for platforms like CodeIgniter and Laravel, was much more helpful/reliable than competing products.

Visually, it wasn't the most sleek/modern, but for software developing tools I prefer function over form so this didn't bother me too much. Default dark mode theme was good and a little tweaking made it perfect!

FTP Explorer (you can easily open files for edit directly from the server), for me it was a decisive factor to buy Lite version, instead of just using Free version. Auto-completion of names of functions and variables. Popup functions description.

Perhaps buttons in toolbars could be a little bigger. I have 27" Full-HD monitor and still, buttons are too small for me. Maybe their size can be changed but I didn't find where. This is the only disadvantage I have found.
