We are trying to develop collaborations across government agencies, education, health, NFPs, business and civil society to provide a seamless approach to address the underlying causations of increasing youth crime. The MindHive experience was inspiring, thought provoking, innovative in that it brought to the fore issues that were 'hiding in plain sight', allowed organisations that considered they were in some competition for funds and 'turf' to see matters through a cooperative lens and helped shift the focus into a wider non threatening scope.

It provides an easy to use, well supported approach to bringing a wide range of experiences both within and external to the proponent to address complex organisational & societal matters of relevance. The platform has maximum flexibility to accommodate collaborations across organisational, cultural, professional, service delivery approaches, educational, socio-economic boundaries covering government, health, business, education and civil society organisations. One of the biggest issues confronting government service delivery, research and academia, business expansion and focus is processes that can engage minds free from hierarchy, agency capture and discipline. McKinsey review (Delivering for Citizens - 2018) of government service delivery across 50 countries found that 80% of government transformations fail and that success can be improved by 3.5 times by involving five disciplines. This begs the question of how to collaborate and how to build increasing self reliance in society. The MindHive platform can go a long way to addressing this matter by tapping into experience across the globe in a flexible yet controlled manner to focus on developing solutions outside of power relationships.

MindHive is an exciting development which will improve with wider use including allowing easier multiple ideation tags for the same set of highlighted text.

It's great to be part of a world-wide think-thank platform that is time- and cost-efficient.

I love Mindhive's innovative approach to problem-solving through crowdsourcing. Absolutely brilliant and refreshing approach to harnessing the intelligence of the community.

I've found that Mindhive is very user friendly, so I can't say that I've had any bad experiences on the platform. I really do enjoy using the platform.

As an individual contributor, investor and part-time researcher, I am extremely happy with the kick off of Mindhive and the positive impact it has and will have on providing disruption and problem solving into the future. The challenges presented are real-time issues that impact the highest level CEO all the way to young families and in between. The platform is easy to use and functional for all.

Given I am an individual contributor, I have yet to come across something that has been less desirable.

A fun way to collect solid, relevant industry data as a conversation. The support team went above and beyond to make sure my questions were answered and I understood the platform.

I like the idea of collective intelligence as a research method. I have used it in academic research previously using a Delphi Study to illicit expert opinion on a topic. However, rather than have to recruit industry experts and send out two waves of questions and then analyze them, Mindhive makes it easy to administer. Plus as I have my expert panel set up in Semester One, I can ask them new questions in Semester 2. Equally, I like the way that it visualizes the research method for our students. As part of their course, they can see how the method works and also use the data for their assignment and also (hopefully) to help them get a job.

Being AI empowered, I expected more automatic analysis. Whereas I really had to set up the themes and assign the data to them (not that that was hard to do).

A good experience overall. I used mindhive to source consumer sentiment for designing retail space for a concept store. Very successful and useful

There were a couple of issues in the earlier versions which appear to have been well fixed.

As a community we have received a huge number of responses to some key questions we have been grappling with to progress our work in the 'community change' space.

We received input from people across the globe - genuinely useful authentic contributions. We also winkled out people in our own community who may not get involved in face-to-face activities.

I got confused starting out, but am pretty sure I did not read and follow the instructions.

It's been great. Learning and networking a lot. This helped me reduce my barrier to entry or hold a conversation.

Look for experts in a certain industry you wanted to learn more about. The discussion is amazing. There is so much individuals knowledge that flows through in the comments.

I am not a power user. So did not experience the whole product yet. Cannot justify this question.

My overall experience has been great, I enjoy engaging in the platform and find it very insightful

Mostly I engage on the community discussion/problem solving forum which I find extremely insightful and valuable both to my own business and by way of being able to contribute to others. It's also insightful to know more about the problems and issues other businesses are facing and witness the hive collective share thoughts and solutions to this, as a business in service delivery, this is helpful in helping me understand what challenges the business world is facing and how my business might assist in solving them.

So far the Mindhive platform has delivered to my expectation.

Policy development takes time and I always wonder whether I've been able to consider all ideas, develop workable policy solutions and produce better outcomes. Mindhive has been able to harness a range of great ideas, innovative approaches and different solutions to present a future which is not only probable, but one which is being delivered today, and so, is getting ready for tomorrow's challenges.

Mindhive has developed the ability to bring together a range of ideas, to crowd source ideas, this has been particularly helpful as we explore new approaches to technological solutions for BIM and digital engineering.

There are no elements that I dislike about this software.

Guides you through setting out your problem, all done for you. See who else is engaging. Able to get diverse views. Suits all sorts of personality types. Able to take time to think about responses - great for deep thinkers. Collaboration from those who may not otherwise.

Sometimes challenging to navigate around. Would like to see push notices to the group to encourage them to participate.

It continues to evolve and constantly improve.

Very easy to pose a question, gather responses from experts, and identify themes and patterns that are actionable.

The software has been on a cycle of continuing upgrades, so, from time to time features are added. On the whole, this is not really problematic - just occasionally surprising.

We have been able to provide clients with cost-effective and strategic insights previously simply not possible. Using Mindhive is sometimes like having a crystal ball for looking into the short to mid future.

I love that global (internal and external) opinions, on just about any topic, can be easily garnered. We all know the opinions, preferences and solutions are out there. This tool makes collecting them, for improved executive decision making, much easier. But the analysis and presentation features ensure that the final strategy is simply on-target, applicable and reflects democratic preferences and opinions.

The software doesn't have many challenges and is clearly designed to be user-friendly and easy to implement. Getting some executives to think outside of their own cognitive biases even in the face of the tools definitive contrary evidence can be a little more difficult.

I have been more an observer as others with more experience in providing guidance, opinions and expertise in a variety of topics provide more meaningful insights. As opportunities present themselves I will look forward to becoming a more active contributor. Great to be part of it all.

The ease of following the various pathways within the software. Great layout graphics. And of course the variety of opportunities to engage and join other communities.

Can sometimes get a little lost in the software, not that that is necessarily a con as it demonstrates the depth of Mindhive.
