I use WatchGuard AuthPoint for one thing and that is to access our network via VPN when I am working remotely. It is very simple to use. You enter your password and you are done. I do not experience any lag or issues.

There really isn't much to dislike. I do wish that WatchGuard would remember my password instead of requiring me to enter it each and every time.

Watchguard Authpoint has given us the much needed boost to get our security to the desired level. Especially when the pandemic started and we had a large amount of remote workers that connected over SSL VPN, Authpoint made this happen securely and without compromising our security. We were lucky to have implemented Authpoint just in time when we massively needed it!

Oure remote workers can securely connect using MFA. The online tokens make this secure, and not possible to duplicate/copy the tokens. Approving SSL VPN connections via Authpoint Mobile is ultra fast!

We are missing the ability to force all users to change their Authpoint password every xx days. We are also missing the possibility to define a policy to enforce the minimum required password complexity.

Middling. It works, but not great. I'm used to the seamless experience of Microsoft Authenticator and this is a few years behind it.

It integrates with AD and our Fireboxes, so the ecosystem support is decent.

Push notifications for VPN MFA are unreliable.

Great product for MFA and cyber security insurance regulations. Great product to make sure your VPN only lets connect the ones that need connecting.

It's easy for a tech person to set up however someone who doesn't have tech skills tends to have a harder time.

We use it for PC login and VPN connection. It provides the highest level of protection with the necessary security measures taken.

Being able to log in with just the notification confirmation after entering the password provides great convenience.

When there is a problem accessing the global system, even turning on the computer becomes difficult.

I am happy to use it other than installation.

It offers practical use as long as there are no problems with the internet. When there is no internet, it is necessary to scan QR from the phone.

The installation seemed very complicated to me, but our IT guy friend helped us.

I've deployed AuthPoint for WatchGuard mobile VPN client, as well as for OpenVPN to a pfSense firewall, and have used it to secure Windows Login. When configuring for the pfSense, there were issues that involved digging through several logs for all the services involved in getting it to work (AuthPoint Cloud, AuthPoint Gateway, Microsoft Network Policy Server, Active Directory and pfSense)

- support for a wide array of products, including MFA for Windows Login- Cloud based management- Different policies for geolocation (geofencing and geokinetics), network location, time scheduling

- per-user cost involved to use and if only using for mobile VPN, may not be worthwhile as there are "free" solutions available (ie. Microsoft Authenticator)- when using for 3rd party services, there can be a lot of troubleshooting involved amongst many services

We sometimes have executive staff that are on the road and use AuthPoint to get a VPN connection to work securely on the road. I as IT manager am able to VPN in using AuthPoint so that I can continue to work remotely.

The setup was a breeze and is easy to troubleshoot if there is an issue.

This may be an issue on our end but there are times that the services do not come back up after a reboot of the AuthPoint Gateway server. Usually just takes going into Services and starting them back up to get it back

The AuthPoint gives us another layer of security.

The app is an important element of the approval process for AuthPoint. In addition, it's important to be able to allow those that needed access through the WatchGuard Cloud.

I wish the licensing aspect of the WatchGuard could be easier to understand and easier to manage. After rolling out WatcHguard Authpoint, it stopped working for some users because of licensing issues therefore we had to get additional licenses.

When Covid hit we moved all out staff to remote work. We were able to set up MFA in under 1 day to increase security of connections to office network resources in a short time and feel almost as secure as we were when staff worked in -office. Watchguard MFA was an integral part of a comprehensive security approach

Very simple management, and the mobile app was simple use for our staff. The mobile app was compatible with almost all 2FA /MFA supporting websites as staff were able to extend security to unrelated sites used by the company that they visited.

Deeper integration with 3rd part tools. I would like to use for MFA for desktop logins

A great product, sensibly priced with great add-on features with WatchGuards typical excellent support behind it.

The ease of use, both in the deployment and in the end user experience is great. The range of options for authentication is also idea, from rolling time-sensitive codes to push notifications. It’s a great solution.

Honestly nothing at the moment. When they move all the end user security under one umbrella product it will be more convenient certainly, but there are no real gripes that I have with it at all and we’ve used it for a few years now.

Authpoint is easy to integrate and configure. Its easy to administer and use. I love the interface and when delegating to other users they find it clear and simple to navigate.

None at this time. After deploying Authpoint about a dozen times I dont see anything thats missing or requires improvement.

Very easy to use and securing it along side Watchguard Firewall. Connects well to onsite and cloud users

The initial setup takes about an hour but that is it it's really great to use. The only change I would like is the logs to be on the same page as the Authpoint instead of having to change to the admin then logs

The various methods we have with Authpoint for authenticating make it very easy to deploy for our clients. Once it is up and working, you pretty much can count on it to work.

Implementation can be difficult at times based on how complex your firewall configuration is setup.

It's easy to install and integrate with existing infrastructure. I like that the phone app is easy for our customers to use.

I honestly haven't had any issues deploying and using AuthPoint.
