Amazing platform!

We've been using Julius for 2 years and rely on the platform heavily for our agency. The customer service has been amazing and the platform delivers accurate data needed for our clients.

PROS

The customer service, discovery function and brand search tool are the most beneficial for our team.

CONS

It would be great if Julius provided monitoring without the need for authentication.

Helps us daily

Julius helps me identify the best matches for athlete endorsed campaigns. Decisions are made based on target market, reach, pricing, and athlete interests. Julius helps me greatly in all of these categories. The customer service team has been awesome as well. There have been a few instances where we had a really quick turnaround on getting an athlete added to Julius, and they worked with me to get those added before their usual turnaround time which is going above and beyond.

PROS

I love the ability to apply filters to reach a very specific target market. Julius is so helpful in this process. Specific parts of the software that I really enjoy include the agent contact information, follower demographics, and the ability to see a bio on the athlete as well as ailments and interests.

CONS

I would love a feature that allowed for easier calculations with age for target market. Julius breaks down the target markets >16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49, and 50+. This is great, except if I want to know how many followers the athlete has under the age of 35, I grab a calculator and add up the first 5 groups. If there was a way to filter this so I don't have to add them up each time, this would save a lot of time.

Great Tool but Many Discrepancies

It is great from a strategic standpoint, it just isn't as helpful when it comes to actually gathering contacts to reach out.

PROS

The information about social media reach is very helpful when determining if an influencer is right for your project.

CONS

I have found that there are many discrepancies with the contact information. I often have to go check IMBDPro which always has the correct contacts for Agents/Managers.

Julius specifically has a great search tool, making it easy to add filters and get really specific with the criteria and generating helpful results.

CONS

It's a bit expensive, and it isn't a tool that we lean on for campaign management.

Customer service is amazing, they are always available via email and phone call to troubleshoot any issues or answer any questions.

PROS

Very useful search and campaign tracking functionality. It's helpful to be able to search for influencer stats such as engagement rate, audience demographic, brand partnerships, etc. so we can correctly decide if they are worth the investment.

CONS

Sometimes the influencer stats are inconsistent across different influencer marketing platforms, but that could be due to different measurement capabilities.

Highly Recommended

PROS

The account services team serving out account is above and beyond what we see of other vendors. We utilize that communication with "can you do this" questions all the time and our account lead goes through demos with us to make sure we understand how to execute. They will even set up campaigns for us as needed to make sure we are set for success.

CONS

We do have to be strategic about limited users for Julius but just upped our logins in the renewal!

PROS

The support from our rep, [sensitive content hidden], is invaluable. She is always able to answer our questions with promptness & effectiveness. Having a designated employee helps so much when we run into confusions or any sort of snafu, and julius seems to excel in this area.

CONS

I think that the integration to playforms could be clearer - how are you pulling in data? A distinction between paid and organic success would be above and beyond as well.

The metric tracking capabilities are superb and make tracking our campaign very easy. I love the overall display that recaps a campaign as a whole.

Great tool overall.

PROS

Ability to easily search Influencers and export data. The data is detailed and outlines talent data our team is seeking.

CONS

Seeing more international talent in the tool database would be great. Also having the most up to date Influencer stats available on the tool to avoid discrepancy.

Love HYPR!

PROS

- provides tons of data - very easy search and filtering capabilities - very easy to request custom information - very easy to export a lot of information at incentive

CONS

- have to sort through lots of options (since there is so much information available) to find exactly what you’re looking for - can’t easily isolate different social channels’ data (ie, if our campaign is on Instagram those are the only data points we care about)

Julius Use

PROS

I think Julius is a great tool to provide high-level insight into the social following of a wide swath of influencers. From providing a bird's eye view of total following to sharing breakdowns of follower demos, it's a great resource is trying to better understand how we are reaching consumers.

CONS

I think the biggest short-coming of Julius is really in two areas: One being the different affinity areas within influencer followings, as well as benchmarks/comparative analysis between influencers. It would be really helpful to better understand which influencers pop for a given interest area and for the benchmarks associated with that affinity to be a bit clearer to understand.

Great experience - all of our customer support contacts are wonderful and promptly get back to us with feedback/answers.

PROS

Love the data/analytics available for athletes, especially the demographics of their audience on social.

CONS

We request new athlete profiles who do not have one set up yet - would love to see these updated/maintained for at least the main sports leagues - NFL/MLB/NBA/NHL/MLS Sometimes we find that one of an athlete's social channels is missing/not connected to their profile

Vetting Influencers for Brand Partnerships

PROS

It's perfect for scouting talent based on insights - you're able to target creators with followers from specific regions, with specific age demographics, and creators who have high engagement rates. You're also able to see examples of work they've produced for other brands.

CONS

We currently use the tool for the early stages of influencer scouting, then outsource the comms to an external PR agency. Due to the cost of the tool, we've limited the # of users who can access the platform, but ideally we'd love to have our PR agency access HYPR to do comms directly from the platform.

An invaluable source for finding influencers

PROS

Julius is very user friendly and intuitive to use. I love that I'm able to find partners by filtering through their personal information and data on their audience. This enables me to work with people that are truly going to resonate with my company's users.

CONS

There isn't anything I dislike about the software, but I do feel like it's a bit pricey. Since I manage our influencer program, using Julius is a huge way I source partners, but if I had another way of finding influencers, I maybe wouldn't be able to back into this spend level.

I love how easy Julius is to use and navigate around the site. We are almost always about to find information we're looking for within seconds. The breadth of information and insights this service provides is unmatched.

CONS

Only annoyance with this software is having to get a code sent to my cell phone every time we try to log in.

How extensive the talent database is, how in depth the data is, ability to access talent contact info

We don't use it much for campaign management. I also find that sometimes it doesn't have the interest base targeting I'm looking for.

A Lifesaver

PROS

I love how easy it is to use. The UI is straightforward, and it truly couldn't be easier for me to do talent discovery, use the various filters, etc. to find top talent for various campaigns.

CONS

Sometimes I'm served influencers whose following counts, ERs, or locations are inaccurate, and about 20% of results have outdated links or "page not found" when reviewing the influencer.

LOVE Julius!

PROS

I love that I'm able to find influencers very seamlessly that cater to similar targets and demographics. When sourcing influencers for my agency's relatively niche campaigns, Julius saves me so much time because I'm able to find and vet creators quickly.

CONS

There's nothing that specifically stands out other than the fact that there could be more influencers added and I've had few occasions in which I've searched for a creator to analyze their metrics and they aren't there.

Easy to use Influencer discovery tool

PROS

Audience demographic is very helpful for our clients. Usually clients get very granular about finding specific audience demos.

CONS

Search functionality is difficult to use/does not get as specific as I'd like
