Definitely a Time Saver! I love the ease of use and how it saves the data so we can go back to old prospects
PROSTurbo Rater has given us the ability to make quoting so much easier as it bridges over to our different carriers and bridges over the information to our Agency Management System. It allows us to shop for our client's insurance policy and give them a snap shot of what the other carriers are charging when they want a better price.
CONSSome carriers are still not on Turbo Rater, all the information also does not bridge over to Agency Management System.

Good Product, Overpriced
Overall good. Similar to AccuAgency which we still use for the management side. We are undecided if we will stick with TurboRater, but for now it does the job. We don't use the TurboRater system except for rating which we can still do in AccuAgency, thankfully. Nothing can be perfect, but many things can be better.
PROSIt has lots and lots of features. It also has a lot of questions that can help get more accurate rating. User friendly.
CONSIt gets a little time consuming just in the tabs where it has so many questions. Variety of questions can be good and bad. Also, there are what feels like 15 tabs before you can get the rater going. lastly, the "policy status" questions at the end- it's mandatory and it's annoying. I know you need feedback or want to put a reason, but it's just not necessary. Price increased SIGNIFICANTLY at the switch from AccuAgency to TurboRater.

We had to transition regardless so we wanted to give it a shot before we switched all together.

ITC is the best I've used
I have used it for years and have used a couple others. I like ITC best because most companies use it. I wouldn't say it is the best rating system ever, but if I like one more that no companies use, than I'm no better off.
PROSI really like being able to quote multiple people at once and multiple companies at once. This is important and saves us a lot of time in office.
CONSIt can stop working randomly at times. The look of it is VERY outdated and it needs a face lift. This makes it very unappealing to look at and quote with for several hours a day. I just don't know any other better products out there, but it LOOKS like it was made by an insurance agent and not a product designer. I think the admin options could be improved. If we have two customers quoted with the same name it should tell us and let us combine them easily instead of doing all the leg work ourselves. If someone calls for a quote and starts it with their name then turns around and wants to quote it in their sisters name to see what the price is, we have to start a whole new quote or erase all the info that we want to keep for the first driver. This is stupid. We're in 2020, there should be swap drivers option. How hard would that be really? You code it once, and that's it.

TurboRater makes policy quoting easy and fast.
PROSThe ease of use is one of the biggest pros of this software. We went from AccuAuto to TurboRater and the software is A LOT easier to use. We all love the Single screen because it makes quoting a breeze. There are a few small quirks to the system that took a little while to get used to, but nothing major. It integrates with Agency Advantage (our management system) easily and we have no issues with it.
CONSThe price is a little steep for what it is. Our previous software was half the price.

We stayed with TurboRater because it seems to be the easiest to use out of the others.

AccuAuto was bought out by TurboRater. We made the switch before we were forced too.

Overall, I only made the switch to minimize programs because you integrate with my AMS. I'm not sure I would have switched if it wasn't for that as I prefer EZ Lynx Rater.
PROSThis product has been fairly accurate when bridging auto.
CONSAuto + Home bundle is not very easy to see view together, this part gets a little confusing.

HELPFUL BUT STILL INACCURATE
Even with the inaccuracies, it still allows me to rank companies on most risks.
PROSEasy to use and fast. Can access most carriers.
CONSThe accuracy of the quotes is horrible. Progressive, Nat General, Trexis, The General, & Dairyland are all inaccurate and require that you bridge to the quote for the actual rate. Would not be prudent to put the ITC rater on my website to allow customers to rate and purchase coverage.

Great Service
The software is very user-friendly. Once I quote a customer it is easy to bridge their information over to the insurance company’s website. It allows you to apply the discounts ahead of time and integrate them into the insurance companies system website. The best feature is that it allows you to compare all of the insurance companies rates.
CONSOne of the cons is that not all insurance companies are rated in real time so whenever you bridge over to the companies website the rate sometimes changes.

No Bells and Whistles
Overall experience has been good. I switched to save money and still do my job and that has occured.
PROSThe thing I like most about this product is does the function it was intended to. It gives you an insurance rate. I've used other products which had all the bells and whistles at a much higher cost. In the end both products achieved the same result. The same end point. An insurance rate. The cost over the year was significantly less.
CONSThe only cons for this product it isn't as flexible as other products. Unnecessary functions could not be removed or changed. They however didn't effect the end result.

PROSI don't, the Accu Auto we had before was 100 times better
CONSEverything, we have to rate on one site, then go back and save and put information in on Accu Auto, double the work and time we spend helping customers for more money than I was paying!! If there was any other rater available for my company to use, we would have already moved our business.

Turbo Rater is 12 Times Better
That it integrates both directions from my client management system, can customize your quote questions to fit your style and can choose templates for your particular customer.
CONSThe updates since 2018 I am getting used to but that is not a problem learning.

I used TurboRater at my previous agency for years, and I was pretty sure I was going to pick TurboRater when creating my new agency. During the sales experience with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], I confirmed that I wanted TurboRater due to the relationship that I built with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] during the setup. I started to create this new agency before the pandemic of Covid 19, and since I was not able to start for a few more months ITC had special pricing for the first two months. That is stepping up to the plate and I really appreciate it!

TURBORATER USEFULLNESS
I HAVE BEEN USING ITC SINCE 2010 . I LIKE THAT I AM ABLE TO BRIDGE TO ALL THE COMPANIES THAT I AM APPOINTED TO AND THE SOFTWARE WAS EASY TO USE. I THINK THAT TURBORATER IS TOP OF THE LINE AND I COULD NOT SEE MYSELF USING ANOTHER SERVICE.

Great to use!
I have been dealing with TurboRater for over 20 years. I love how easy it is to use and how fast and accurate it usually is.
PROSIt is easy to use. Predictable and usually up to date on all of the insurance company quirks.
CONSA few things have been changed that I would prefer hadn't. I like to tab through everything and I can't on the violations screen now.

I have been using this software over 13 years and love it!

The best ease of use features about this product are that you are able to enter in most client info on a single screen.
CONSNot all companies use this rating system, also you are not able to bridge home quotes into Hawksoft which is time consuming.

I have a lot of companies I am appointed with. TurboRater makes my life easier when selecting the best price for my customer.
PROSInternet base usage is what I like most. Also the ease of adding a motorcycle policy or homeowners.
CONSWhen I put that someone has a suspended license it doesn't rate correctly with some companies like Infinity or Kemper specialty.

Not what we expected. Feel forced into using a system that is still not working for us.
PROSUmmm. this is tough. The main pro is that we are used to using the agency management system.
CONSStill cant use Turbo Rater. Does not return quotes; passwords don't work, takes too much time. Generally, we are paying extra $100+ per month just for Agency management. We have to quote everything direct through carriers. Looking to change systems as soon as possible.

PROSI like that you can fill out most of the information on one page. The program is very easy to use. We usually never have any problems with it working.
