About Simpplr


Simpplr is a cloud-based intranet solution for various industry verticals. The solution also offers native mobile applications for Android and iOS devices. Primary features include an employee directory, events calendar, user dashboard, activity feeds, single sign-on and content archiving.  

Simpplr enables employees to create profiles, share content, follow users and engage in polls or surveys. The solution also offers an employee directory. Managers can create social workspaces that can be customized for teams and departments. Users can publish and create calendar events which may include timestamps, location maps and RSVPs.

Users can customize newsletters, review survey results and track employee milestones. Integration with Okta, OneLogin and Salesforce Identity allows employees to access the content using a single sign-on. The solution also offers integration with Sharepoint and Google Drive for file sharing.

Simpplr offers services on a monthly subscription basis and customer support is available via phone and an online support center.

Great intranet for connecting everyone at work

We use Simpplr as our intranet to improve team communications, company-wide news, onboarding resources, and other documentation.

Pros

Simpplr interface is very user-friendly.

Simpplr allows for easy coordination of content upload/management.

We’ve had little need for technical help, but when we have, the team was responsive and quickly solved our challenges.

Cons

You can install Simpplr as an app to the CRM Salesforce instance, if you do that, some of your Sales/Service content surface ups to the Simpplr interface.

Will recommend you get an independent org just for Simpplr.

Simpplr has helped us connect our distributed workforce

Connecting our diverse and remote workforce, keeping staff informed, easy to create self-service knowledge base, one place to go for all staff information needs. We have been working with the Simpplr team for almost two years and have received amazing support. We have been really pleased with the product.

Pros

We have a very distributed team across 16 offices and with 30% of our employees working from home. Simpplr is great because it allows everyone to find the information they need, helps all employees collaborate on projects, and was easy to implement (we have a very lean IT team).

Everything you need in a social intranet right out of the box

Amazing customer success and support team are with you every step of the way with research and thought leadership. Overall the product and people behind it are top notch.

Pros

Beautifully designed pages and components provide you with an engaging, modern look and feel. The solution is so easy to configure, particularly if you already have an understanding of Salesforce setup. Outstanding analytics built right in help you drive adoption and make the most of your intranet investment.

Cons

The files interface takes a little getting used to.

Great software for fast implementation and fantastic support

Pros

I like that it is very easy to use and fast to implement.

Cons

There is some lack in functionality regarding how alerts are sent out and how it integrates to certain systems like google calendar/google docs. Overall you can get past them by small tweaks in behavior but there is definitely room for improvement on some workflows.
