Great Solution for Driving Employee Experience
In addition to the team being responsive to requests, I've found that they are also great partners in our calls. Always a great source of information as we worked to get adoption and utilization numbers up over this initial year after implementation.
PROSI use Simpplr daily to provide important real-time updates to our employees with their top headlines of the day in our intranet. The solution combines both documentation and social media elements so that it is not only intuitive in how to search for important need-to-know information (ex: HR policy documents, departmental guidelines, etc.) but also offers a sense of community as people are empowered to create their own user-generated content (UGC) to share on our more social sites. The team is also really receptive to feedback on suggested enhancements and has implemented some of the suggestions we've submitted like page read times and customized newsletters.
CONSI believe there is always room for improvement like more scheduling options for posts, admin access to "comment" on behalf of an exec (execs and EAs would probably benefit from this feature), or implementing gamification to the system (ex: badges, points), some of these items are already something the team is working on for a future release! So, nothing much to complain about as the team is always working to address feedback received to make a better product and user experience. If it's not there--it's just a matter of being patient for the next release when it will be implemented!

Exceeded my (and my organization's) expectations.
Our business analysts researched 15 different software options while our HR team did their own separate research and we came together to share our findings and we had unanimously selected Simpplr, and now that we've successfully launched it, we know why it's considered the best of the best. It can be maintained by one person, or by a group of people, and it's easy to delegate who handles what. The best part is anyone in your organization can create content without having to be trained. It's as easy as navigating a basic website or posting a comment in social media. We have been very pleased with our decision to go with Simpplr and we built and rolled it out in the same quarter without having to hire tech consultants. Their customer service is fantastic.
PROSEven the most technically challenged people can create, post and find content on Simpplr without any training. It's perfect for when your intranet doesn't live in IT. HR and/or marketing can launch and maintain without creating work for your already overloaded tech team. And Simpplr is constantly updating their product with new features. Unlike other intranets I've used that role out new features before they are ready, the updates Simpplr launches work great from the day they come out.
CONSComing off of years of SharePoint and Interact, it was hard to transition from the site/folder/page organization style, but once I got my head around every department and post not needing its own site, it actually provided a lot of freedom. I do miss the point-based recognition/reward system other intranets offer, but if your priority is to keep teams informed and connected this is the way to go for sure and you can find other way to reward teams. I do wish the feed could exist on the homepage without taking up so much real estate or requiring the latest and most popular posts to reappear. But maybe that change will happen in a future update.

Simpplr was a great tool for intranet
I really liked my company's intranet hosted by Simpplr, it was a valuable hub for finding useful company announcements and information
PROSI liked that my company used the intranet well. I knew that I could go to our simpplr instance and have many of my HR questions answered as well as information about upcoming activities and webinars.
CONSI really liked that I could join different workspaces based on my role within the organization but there were certain workspaces that I would have loved to explore every once in a while and were protected and I also was enrolled in a few workspaces that I didn't need but couldn't end. But that was probably more organization specific rather than tied to Simpplr as a tool which was great

Simply Outperforms Anything Else -- Employees Love it!
Overall, Simpplr allowed a disjointed company to come together as one business to inform, inspire and connect employees. It is the one channel everyone tunes into for the latest company news, "one-truth" reports and data, fun information about fellow teammates, and so much more. The ability to connect people in a visually smart and engaging manner makes internal communications that much more influential in moving the company's culture forward.
PROSThe technology is innovative, easy to use and encourages employee engagement. The ability to garner over 20+ insights, encourage comments and feedback, and provide a mobile experience is priceless. The ability to move at the speed of business is something that Simpplr offers. You can upload imagery, copy, videos and more that is attractive and engaging. It looks like a consumer-friendly site that helps business motivate, connect and inform employees.
CONSThere truly aren't that many items to list. Each time I had an issue, the team was responsive. Updates are super easy and the technology continues to improve.

Ease of use. Pricing. More importantly, Simpplr aligned with the internal communications strategy where it could empower content creators across the businesses to be engaged and successful. It was an easy choice.
Reasons for switching to Simpplr
The prior intranet was too clunky and too hard to upload information. Nobody cared to take the 15 minutes or more to upload a photo or story. It was awful. It was costly and ineffective.

The Simpplr Support Team is fantastic!
I have a fantastic account rep [SENSITIVE CONTENT] who still meets with me regularly to go over any questions or upcoming releases. I also love the support site. I can easily put in a ticket and the team does a phenomenal job of working with me to resolve any issues.
PROSWe do not have an IT team at our business, so I love that Simpplr is so easy that a Communications Manager can manage pretty much all of it!
CONSIt would be nice if there was an easier way to have an externally-facing instance that didn't require going through the Salesforce log-in process.

So far we are loving it!
We're solving for faster, easier access to internal information to help people be more productive and effective. We also want to connect employees and ensure engagement as we have primarily remote and hybrid teams. We're about 90 days out with a subset of employees and so far it's gone very well. We're looking to move the whole organization onto the platform. The cost is daunting but we're very happy with the product.
PROS- The implementation was a lot of work but not difficult. We were told it would be easy and it was. Simpplr provided templates and best practices that saved me a lot of time. - It's easy to use and administer. Most of the features are intuitive and don't require a lot of training. - The platform looks good and is flexible. There are lots of ways to accomplish what you're trying to do.- The governance model was a big reason we chose it. We need to keep the content current and relevant. Otherwise, people won't trust and use it.- The implementation team was great to work with and the entire team has been helpful and responsive.
CONS- The price was significantly higher than the two other platforms we evaluated.- There are a couple of features that could be improved.- Simpplr webinars showcase modules that aren't standard and are an additional purchase. I'd rather they focus on the core package everyone has and then share the "also available" features.

Fast, Easy, Intuitive Deployment
We could not be happier with the choice we made to select and deploy Simpplr.
PROSI truly liked how easy it was to not only learn the product but to also be an administrator of it. We had a very short timeline of 6 weeks to design, create and deploy our new Intranet site. The Simpplr team was great to work with. The Simpplr platform makes it easy to deploy new team sites, new content, employees now have the ability to be more socially engaging. Our new Intranet has never been so easy to manage and update. Leveraging the Site Owner and Content Managers has enabled us to distribute the responsibilities to the individual teams.
CONSThe only downside to the tool is the limited functionality of the page creation. It has the basics, but it would be so much better if there were more features and functionality.

A Modern Intranet Easy to Deploy & Use
We had a desire to improve communication throughout the organization. The Simmplr platform has provided us a way to easily and quickly make updates and disseminate them to staff. Plus it's a visually appealing and engaging system that many staff enjoy using.
PROSWe transitioned from an outdated home-grown intranet solution to Simpplr. The two systems are night and day! From a user perspective, Simpplr is modern and easy to navigate. From an admin & content creation perspective, it's intuitive and fast - and you really can't screw things up. Everything is easily adjustable, which makes experimenting with new content and features very easy. We were also able to transition all of our knowledge documents to be hosted on Simpplr, instead of having them on various servers and systems throughout the company. Plus, everything is easily searchable - from PDFs to content pages. It has really enabled a "one-stop shop" for our employees.
CONSBecause it's a 3rd party software, not all of the features are customizable. For example, we couldn't change the name of one of the tabs from "Apps" to "Links" (like our old system had) - so that required a bit of a learning curve at first for our users. We also discovered after launching that in-site search bars are only available to admins or site managers. While users can see the in-site search bar, if they use it, they get no results. It's a minor issue, but still a little odd.

Simpplr is Simple
Overall Simpplr has been a great experience from first contact to implementation to launch. I expect that while we continue to build out our intranet that there will be more great things to come.
PROSSimpplr is just that - SIMPLE to manage and use. The interface is very user-friendly and consistent while still offering a feeling of customization. Anyone can use it, which makes management of the intranet easy as we delegate information to specific departments and let them control their own sites and information without the hassle of a bottleneck. Working with the Simpplr team has also been fantastic. They are responsive, informed, and invested in your success as a customer. They are available anytime I have a question, or need support. My other favorite feature are the analytics that are simple to use and understand. Analytics hold the key to understand our audience and keep improving our intranet site.
CONSThere are a couple small glitches with the system that still haven't been worked out. For example, administrators see duplicate sites. There were some problems with the events calendar, and we're hoping to see some new features in the next couple months.

Our choice to go with Simpplr was ultimately due to the ease of use, management, and analytics that Simpplr provides that we couldn't find collectively in any other intranet software.

It keeps getting better and better...
I enjoy seeing the continuous, incremental improvements to the Simpplr platform and their their willingness to work with their clients to expand on ideas for new features and improvements on existing functionality. Their customer support has gone from good to excellent in the short period of time that I've worked with Simpplr. There is also alot of excitement from Simpplr employees about their product and it shows in our interactions with them.

Simpplr makes communications simple
My experience with Simpplr has been a great! From training to implementation and even the success team -- Simpplr staff is there when you need them and are always helpful.
PROSI really enjoy the quarterly platform release -- which is based on user feedback. Great features that help maintain multiple sites and users.
CONSNothing comes to mind. I think the platform has a lot of potential. I can't wait to see how it continues to evolve.

Fantastic UX and implementation experience
We have transformed the way we communicate, share knowledge and creates community with our hybrid workforce. I would highly recommend Simpplr for someone who is focused on search capabilities that integrate with SharePoint and has a very social culture.
PROSResources and implementation team keep you on track with ideas, integrations to Office 365 actually work as intended, technical support team always available to troubleshoot. We have seen better than anticipated engagement with employees and couldn't be happier with Simpplr.
CONSMS teams integration is 1 way and a couple of minor bugs but are being fixed with new releases.

Super easy to manage SalesForce Intranet!
We are able to create a beautiful and easy to manage intranet that our teams can access from anywhere on any device! From an IT perspective we wanted a tool that anyone can create content with, we only need to set-up users on the back end and our teams can all build content and share information in a way that is connected and integrated with our existing environment.
PROSI love that it’s built on the trusted platform of SalesForce. It makes it easy to administer as I am already familiar with SFDC and the app management is very user friendly. The mobile app is also very easy to set-up and our team can have access to all the content and contacts on the go. We love the Box.com integration too!
CONSI wish that some of the reporting functionality and analytics can only be accessed by the administrator using SalesForce functionality and isn’t in the UI for the team to run reports in the app itself. The analytics get better with each release but do need improving to get more usable data in app.

People who've really thought about the problem
Everyone I've met at the company through implementation to ongoing service has been friendly, highly competent, and you can see that the process they're following are well structured and thought out.
PROSWhen looking for our new intranet, almost all the vendors told us the same thing: You can ask for whatever you want, and we'll build it for you; everything is customisable, etc. That's been the recipe for every rubbish bit of software in all history. It's also clearly been one of the reasons why people don't use intranets and they fail as ways to communicate with staff. Simpplr were the only people we met who seemed to have really understood this and have built a highly useable tool that looks great as a result. We were very quickly into the high 90% usage statistics, we had a ton of positive feedback from our employees, and we experienced far fewer people not being able to find important information.
CONSThe structure of site and pages could use another layer of hierarchy to organise the content. Being able to categorise and tag things goes some way to provide this but it could be neater.

Intuitive and Engaging
To drive engagement, we used Simpplr in place of an event management application. During our event, we discovered Simpplr didn't have all of the capacities of our previous app. The team at Simpplr heard our concerns and within months, launched new features that will allow us to use the app again at our next major event. The enhanced RSVP/Events pages and the new SMS text massaging capability are amazing.
PROSFrom day one, our teams loved the homepage news carousel, engaging "twitter-like" feed for everyone to collaborate, and sticky tiles that permanently hold important information, links, social media feeds and video highlights. The individual sites for each group/department allow others to contribute valuable content without hand-holding or extensive training. Our teammates LOVE the mobile app, and the push notifications we send alerting them to important information.
CONSNothing. It's great. The consistent improvements address any concerns.

Simpplr helps build company culture!
We needed a platform that could be accessible from anywhere and on any device without a firewall and Simpplr was the answer! It's an easy to manage intranet and integrates well with our other tools to create and build content with relevant information.
PROSSimpplr has a modern and sleek look that reflects our company culture. It encourages and promotes employee engagement by creating 2-way dialogue between employees and leadership. The platform also has robust data analytics that provide insight into usage and effectiveness, it’s not extraneous to pull any reports. Simpplr is also available on mobile app which is such a bonus with our distributed workforce!
CONSThere aren’t any that I have encountered yet. All platform issues have been directly addressed and the company is constantly working on new updates.

Simpplr Review - From the IT Administrator's Perspective
Working with Simpplr's customer support is great! They are really quick to respond to our questions and concerns. Our customer success manager assigned to our organization is really helpful and reaches out frequently to make sure we are good to go. She also offers advice to help us improve our Intranet as well. We are really happy with them and their high level of professionalism.
PROSI love how quick and easy it is to make new subsites in Simpplr. I can get a subsite up and running and ready for further customization with one of our site managers in about 3 minutes.
CONSI do not have anything I do not like about the software.

Solid Product, Turn-Key Communication Solution
Our relationship with Simpplr has evolved over the past year from vendor to partner. Simpplr has been very responsive to any issues we've had and has become a thought partner in bettering the product not just for Lozier, but for all customers. They are open and receptive to ideas to improve the platform.
PROSI like that it's easy to use from an admin perspective requiring very little - if any - support from IT. It is mobile friendly which is critical in a manufacturing environment.
CONSI wish there was an ability for admins to post FROM mobile, so we could post updates and issue alerts on the go.

A Powerful Solution for a Dispersed Workforce
The Simpplr team is the best. They care about their customers, work hard to ensure your launch is a success and that you're set up for success well into the future.
PROSSimpplr is so easy to use, right from the start. The analytics are some of the best, and getting better all the time. The out-of-the-box offering is robust, plenty for employees to get excited about.
CONSWe can't realize Simpplr's full potential until we can sync with multiple email domains, which will allow us to fully leverage Simpplr's connectivity with Google Drive and Google Calendar. The Simpplr team definitely helped us build out some workarounds, but it was a bit of a disappointment that we haven't had the chance to get this enabled.

Most organized implementation ever!
I work as an internal Project Manager at my company. I support business teams throughout our company with project execution, frequently implementing new applications and working with vendors. Working with Simpplr was, hands down, the best implementation experience I've had. Their plan doesn't miss a step, and made my job so easy. They empower the business to learn and take part in the implementation process, and the implementation team at Simpplr had an answer and supporting resources for every question our team could dream up. As far as implementation goes Simpplr gets it so right and makes it very easy for their customers to set up a great intranet quickly. I'll also add that the application itself is fantastic. It's easy to use and our entire team started using it immediately. We love our new intranet.
PROSI think the product is intuitive and fun. It's like social media for work. Our staff was easily able to start using and engaging on day one of launch.
CONSHonestly, it does everything we needed and more. Maybe it's that on day one all the new functionality options can be a bit overwhelming, but even that our implementation team did a great job preparing us for.

Great tool for employee communications
We were able to increase employee awareness of corporate initiatives and engagement across remote teams with this tool.
PROSThis tool works well for employee communications - it is easy to use via Search and has a clean/tidy appearance that is easily customized.
CONSThere are some issues with admin-level tasks (extra steps/logins required) - this can be cumbersome at time.

Simpplr made it simple!
It has been great. Our partners at Simpplr have been very helpful and step in to support us in anyway at what seems the drop of a hat.
PROSThe modern look and feel. Our old intranet was quite outdated and didn't line up with our new, more modern branding. With Simpplr we were able to take our intranet to the next level while maintaining a secure and up-to-date collection of content.
CONSMore of a user case here, but I wish there was better ways of staging content for review that wasn't based on setting temporary permission levels.

Simpplr makes internal communications and storytelling simple and straightforward
I'm awfully happy with this software. The app and website are easy to navigate, publishing is a breeze, and laying in external media like photos and videos isn't much trouble at all.
PROSSimpplr's rapid publishing and editing ability is fantastic. I come from a career where stories went out in seconds and minutes, so being able to get my work out to the company in just moments is wonderful. I don't like making mistakes, but when I do, the updating is nearly instantaneous.
CONSIn the aforementioned administrative issue I suffered, I would periodically receive error messages when attempting to publish. Eventually, publishing would work, but the error messages were so generic ("Simppr experienced an error when attempting to publish" or something in that vein) that I was frankly unsure what the problem was or if it was of my own doing.
