By definition any order management software cannot be about a single page where information is updated. For your day to day transactions you do a Purchase Order or a Goods In to add stock. Similarly, you do a Sales Order or Goods Out to remove stock. If you want to update your stock to correct errors, take into account damaged goods, etc you can do an Inventory Taking process. What we don't support is on the fly manually changing the number corresponding to the stock of a product (as this doesn't leave any record of why and how this happened) which would defeat the purpose of having a management system. Having said that the inventory taking process does include spreadsheets and is as such clunky - we have a solution planned for that. Thank for your detailed review and feedback. We have warehouse people who generally are not very computer-oriented and they get along fine. Multiple languages are a plus, as we have users in multiple countries. Readily customisable in terminology and document layout. Great support team, quick and to the point answers. The cloud based system allows for an easy set-up in the office and we can access all information on the go at any time. #### Pros great customization of various document types. the quick search function for stock is a great tool. saving stock reports to the dashboard is a useful tool. #### Cons Can be a bit tedious at times, switching between various webpages. Some small glitches during importing stocks get annoying. If the internet is down (we are in Africa after all) it can become problematic as the entire system is cloud based. #### Vendor response Thanks for the review Mark. No incentive was offered This is a very well thought out software that you start to appreciate after having spend a bit of time to get used to the interface. The idea of creating custom queries/filters that link to specific items within the company saves us time especially when multiple users are logged in at the same time (we have created a set of custom queries for each user that is specific to the job of the user in the company). On the downside, there is no accounting module (which we need) and we have to export our invoices and deal with accounting with another platform. Overall, there is space for improvement but we could not find something better for dealing with our sales operations at this price tag. No incentive was offered I love megaventory because of its simplicity in the way it achieves the target. It helps me manage all the basic functions I need for our wholesale clothing business. The speed has improved greatly from the previous version. I was recently informed they are integrating with Quick books which will also make life a whole a lot easier. #### Pros Everything is connected very well, the transfer between warehouses helps us manage inventory in different locations. You can use tab to move from one box to another when making an invoice which other competitors do not offer and makes it difficult because you have to click the boxes again and again to put qty or change the price etc. #### Cons Adding some analytic would make it an awesome product. #### Vendor response Thank you for your review and the excellent rating! Whether its an adjustment, returned item by a customer, a sale, or new stock arrivals. You can add relationships between each product and supplier. You have the freedom to add multiple suppliers and set costs for each SKU. There are also other features such as, quantity availability for each supplier and many many many more. Also, there are reports for literally everything you can imagine. From stock aging, to product movement, to purchase reports, sales reports, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. #### Cons There are no ongoing things I dislike. The only thing is the entry barrier which requires integration (Doesn't take too long, especially that the Megaventory team are more than helpful). Also, getting used to the entire interface. This seems illogical to me. Additionally its integration with financial softwares such as QBO makes it a complete cost effective ERP system for SME's. #### Cons More flexibility is required in the manufacturing module to analyse budget vs actual costs. It's focus on inventory control (as opposed to CRM for example) make it fast to configure and deploy. The support team are responsive and quickly changed the product to cater to our requirements (adding the ability to bulk-close work orders) The ability to edit wording through localisation is very powerful. Import / Export of data from every screen and search. #### Cons Our product is multi-layered using up to 7 layers of Bills of Material. We no need to go to special tabs to look for that. #### Cons There were some flaws in the previous version like when we click on Gear symbol on the top - right corner, The current window on which we were working, was used to close automatically. Really responsive customer support (when we encountered a bug we got a workaround in a day and fix in a few weeks). For a company on a very tight budget it doesn't break the bank. Each month more features appear. #### Cons The UI can be a bit confusing at times, especially for some of the advanced features. For example, applying serial numbers to finished goods and taking finished goods out of inventory by serial number can be complicated (of course, it's great that they support serial numbers). #### Vendor response Thank you for your review!
