It’s great being able to keep an eye on what students are doing. Remote controlling them is also helpful to get them back on task.

I love the ability to control the computer screens of those in my class and direct their learning and attention to what we are learning about.

No collaboration tools between students. No presentation options for students.

If you have a windows machine and need the ability to monitor what your students are doing this is the best.

Its a good software and very helpful when managing a classroom.

It can be difficult to set up and remembering what channel to broadcast on.

Those kind of features are very interesting nice to have in a classroom to make it more smarter.

The Lite version is perfect for just our needs for just monitoring students when they are taking an online class and especially when taking quizzes and test.

LanSchool is still not compatible with Windows 8. Our district is making the move, since Windows 8 has been out so long, but then we will have no monitoring.

I have enjoyed its use for quite a few years. Recently we transitioned to Lanschool Air, and I'm excited so far.

Expensive- not many schools have it. When I switch jobs we won’t have this and I’m so sad.

The software's screen sharing and file distribution features allow teachers to quickly and easily present lessons and distribute resources, saving time and streamlining the learning process.

For the block websites option, it only works some of the times. Also, the software looks dated from the 90s.

It is only as fast as your network and your host machine so if you have slower and older machines, LANSchool might not work well.

Great to have for managing my students and their technology, such a time saver and helps keep students focused.

There is a slight hesitation between what students have on their screen vs. what is shown on LanSchool. Some students have found a way to get around LanSchool and have their screens locked.

Some users have reported technical problems with the software, such as slow performance or compatibility issues with specific devices.

Lanschool is a great easy to use remote access software for schools, it allows easy monitoring of both student and staff computers.

I am currently looking hard for a replacement.

I love how easy it is on Moodle to use as both a student and an instructor. I like how customizable notifications are.

Many features exist and are ignored which is a shame, besides some times using Moodle on falls on pages not configured because they were not explored.

Its clearly a good sign when a piece of software is used by an entire institution like an university, which is where i had contact with it.

It can have a good integration with a company/institution website. It's not a trivial integration though.

I love that Moodle is open source and can be customized. There are some good add-ons, but the ability to customize the experience is great.

It is a good app to use and very useful - learning is always easier and more fun if you have a user friendly app.

There's a very supportive community for this LMS. Lecturers and the students can easily interact with each other in a private virtual environment.

It's multiple clicks to add content, followed by multiple clicks to set it up correctly. For students, the default site is ugly and confusing.

I currently use Moodle both as a student and as an administrator for one class. Both have their benefits, and it is easy to see why Moodle is a great fit for the job.

There is the same problem when a teacher sends us a message or link, we have no email alerts.

I love how Moodle is set up and I've used it to take courses. It's so easy to use and to sign up with and I love the user interface.

In discussion threads I think it is somewhat annoying that there is no single option to open all responses. Instead you have to go through and click into each one.

It crashes a lot and after a period of use the application of the error. Due to the very frequent use of online classes, it has fallen a lot the whole time.

I also love how easy it is to see all of your grades, there is a whole tab just for that, therefore it is easy to keep track of you progress and how you're going.

Moodle has been supporting the academic and research community from decades. It's vibrant development community has created a true gift for the world to use and grow with.
