TIme To Pet is great! I should have signed up and started using it years ago.

PROS

When I started looking at various software, I wanted the text update capability as that's what our clients really like! TTP has that and I, as the administrator, always see the updates and responses. I also really like that client's can't reach out directly to our IC's (users). Although one of the best features is how it links all scheduled services to invoices; both for client's and for users. It's very easy for users to generate their invoices. I signed up for the WePay accunt as well. I resisted taking credit card payments for a long time, but this has made collecting funds super easy! I also like how there is the ADD A TIP option on every client invoice. Honestly, we rarely got tips except around the holidays and on some pet sitting jobs. Almost all the new clients we've signed up using TTP add tips! I also have grown to really appreciate that clients enter their information and pets information. This has helped all of us to ensure no one is missing anything. Before we took notes at the initial meet and greet. Often times as things changed, we never updated the notes. Having a set up where the cliebts see the same information as we do helps eliminate any confussion about what to do or not to do. I also really like the reporting options. I use Quickbooks but the reporting options are different. TTP has made several changes and upgrades since I started using it. They really listen to the feedback.

CONS

The cons of TTP may be more on my end than theirs. We were already so busy when we switched over. It took a long time to input all the data and client information. They started an Academy to help showcase and explain very important topics and features. Honestly, I just haven't had any spare time to take advantage of it. This is another reason to start using it before you are already insanely busy!!!!! I wish there were alternative ways to do schedule changes. They have a great bulk update feature but it just changes who's assigned or if the events are cancelled. This may be an option and detailed instructions in the Academy or Help section. Again, I've been too busy to explore a lot of these features. So the 4 star ratings may be more on my end than theirs. I'm also a self admintted person so others may be able to figure some things out 100 times faster than me!

Must Use: TimetoPet

Their personalized service is bar none. Quick turn around with questions we have. Thorough answers and solutions to issues. And they are very nice about it all.

PROS

TimetoPet is an awesome app. We are a medium size pet sitting and dog walking company servicing over 2k clients with over 40 staff. We could not provide our clients with the level of service we provide if it were not for TTP. Our clients comment positively about every aspect of the experience with this product from the 'report card' they receive after every visit to scheduling their services through their computer or their phone.

CONS

The only improvement i would encourage is a more robust self serve reporting feature. But I like reports and analytics more than most folks, so it could be just me.

More robust app. More bells and whistles. Better service.

Doesn't Quite Match UP

PROS

I like that it is intended to make scheduling easier for pet care professionals. I also like that it keeps a good database of client information that is always accessible when out in the field.

CONS

It crashes A LOT and customer service is not that easy to deal with. I have grown frustrated with this software and went back to using a different platform that is much more user intuitive.

Time to Pet is THE all-in-one pet care software

PROS

Time to Pet has extensive settings and options so that you can perfectly customize your portal for your business. I find scheduling to be very easy & convenient. They are always adding updates to improve the app & customer/client experience. You can find almost any answer about the software in their help section, it has helpful articles and often times a short informational video. TTP really seems to care about their customers & their experience.

CONS

My clients sometimes have difficulties with invoicing & tipping, but we're often able to sort out the issue easily.

Best Pet Sitting Software Out There

I am 100% satisfied with Time to Pet and I recommend it to every pet sitter I know. I have used other products in the past and TTP is just far above exceeding any other programs out there. They are constantly taking feedback from their users and are always actively improving the product, adding amazing new features, and staying ahead of the competition. There's just no other software on the market that does with TTP does, nor do they have the TTP team backing it up.

PROS

TTP is a highly innovative pet sitting software that helps me run the day to day operations of a mid-size pet sitting company. With staff and quite a few clients, this software ensures nothing is ever missed and that our clients enjoy an app for themselves as well.

CONS

Due to the sheer number of customizations, the program can be daunting at first. However, it is completely worth the time to learn it. I had to think outside the box a bit to ensure the program could be tailored to the specific needs of my company which can be scary at first. TTP has never let me down and I've always been able to use the features and options to tailor the program to be exactly what I need. While there are a lot of documents explaining how to do things, more video instruction would be helpful however TTP's customer service is the absolute BEST. If you can't figure it out or can't find the answer you're looking for, their team is always knowledgeable and quick to respond.

Reason for choosing Time To Pet

TTP contained the greatest ability to tailor the program to my companies needs. It has such a variety of customizations, I feel like it was built just for my business. Coupled with their customer service, I took the leap and I am so glad I did. I couldn't imagine running my business with any other pet sitting software.

Reasons for switching to Time To Pet

Power Pet Sitter started to feel like it was a step behind. Updates were not made quickly, if at all. Complaints fell on deaf ears, and the system felt like it was from the 90's. When their system crashed several times and we were left without access to our pet care files, I knew it was time for a switch.

A MUST HAVE

This is an amazing software paired with prompt and professional customer service and support. I could not have expected something to have such a profound effect on my business. I implemented the software just before our busiest period being the Christmas season and it was by far my most stress-free and smooth sailing one to date and I'm absolutely certain 90% of it is because of TTP. Previously I was using a custom built database that I needed to be on front of my computer to do anything with. This was EXTREMELY time consuming and left a huge lag from client request to action. Now with TTP, I can action client request instantly and that's only if they choose not to do it their self. I can easily and effortlessly stay in contact with clients and vise versa and my clients now have added piece of mind with the visit report, time tracking and GPS function.

PROS

Easy to use and navigate and it saves me hours of sit down admin time.

CONS

If I have to pick something it would be to be able to attach videos to visit report and to have all features available to Australia. In saying that, these things really make no major impact on the excellence of the software.

Reason for choosing Time To Pet

The interface was more clean. The navigation was more easier and made more sense to me. It offers more features than some of competition. The price point suited me. The customer service is outstanding.

I needed something more versatile, location free, simple and easy to use and operate and that gave my clients more control.

Time to Pet worth its weight in gold!

Time to Pet has helped me tackle the administrative side of my business and win! It keeps me organized and efficient. My clients love it!

PROS

Time to Pet was easy to set up and the learning curve did not take me long. I am not a tech person so the tutorials helped to ease any anxiety. Their customer service is always very timely and supportive.

CONS

I have been using this software for over 4 years and so far I do not have anything that I like "least".

Time To Pet changed our business for the better

I wouldn't have been able to hire without it. I needed to be able to KNOW for a fact that employees were at a client's home on time, not leaving, and have pictures that show both myself and the pet owners how their pets are doing. It has taken away the fear that someone could be taking advantage of this job.

PROS

They have thought through exactly what a pet sitting business would need to function the best--and continue to do so. I have said from the beginning that it must be a team of people who have run a pet sitting business or been a pet sitter before to intuit exactly what we need in the business. Scheduling with small, precise windows, report customization options, and the client communication (whether it's push notifications, emails, or the chat area) are the top things we love about Time To Pet.

CONS

There's always areas to add on to, but I think for the cost, it's fantastic and they are always adding. My main desire would be to have an easier way to share the calendar with sitters so they can see who else is working and can switch shifts if they want.

The Best Dog Walking Software

We’ve had a great experience. They are quick to help when we need it and have always answered our questions or fixed our issues. The main thing that I love is that they listen to their customers and work on improving the software based on our feedback.

PROS

The ease of use for our clients and all the features for our clients. They can see the exact route their dog takes on the walk, they can easily message with their walker or management, they can schedule walks right from their phone, and can even pay their bill on the go.

CONS

Invoicing has been a huge improvement over our other dog walking software. Like HUGE. The only improvement I’d like to see if visits automatically showing up on the correct invoice based on the month. In the beginning we had multiple invoices for clients each month because the services aren’t automatically placed on the correct invoice. TTP said they are working on this though.

Leashtime gave up. They stopped innovating. We want to be on the forefront of dog walking Services and not falling behind.

Priceless Software for Pet Sitters/Dog Walkers

We have been using Time to Pet for our Professional Pet Sitting/Dog Walking business for more than 3 years. Anytime we have had questions, they have been answered immediately through topics on their website, the private Facebook group or directly from customer service themselves. With every update, I feel like they read our needs that we didn't even know we had!

PROS

We love that this software fits EVERY single need we have as pet sitters/dog walkers. Its impossible to pick just one thing that we love.

CONS

I would love if clients could rate a "reservation" on a 1-5 star scale as another industry software does.

Reason for choosing Time To Pet

Overall features, client-facing app, staff-facing app, it looked clean and relevant, not antiquated. The support we received during our free trial was incredible - including late night Saturday answers to our questions! Can't beat any of that!

Great software with helpful support

Excellent. Great product backed by a functional support team.

PROS

Integrating TTP into our existing business model was fairly seamless. Their customer support is always helpful and prompt. The automation features have cut my admin time in half. The client portal is the best I've seen for pet sitting software.

CONS

It's a bit difficult for some of our users to figure out initially and it's geared slightly more toward companies with employees rather than contractors.

Great product!

This is the best pet sitting software on the market

Customer service is lightning fast! The software was great at the beginning but the owners are not content with that. They keep making it better and better. I can't wait to see what additions they make to Time To Pet in the future.

PROS

The software is very modern and up to date. It is very intuitive which makes training new staff easy. The schedular has a great calendar with drag and drop capability. Everything is integrated so nothing falls through the cracks. Our customers have also enjoyed using the software. The software encourages customers to leave tips when making payments. Where we weren't getting many tips before we now get lots of tips. The software has more than paid for itself just in tips!

CONS

Since we pay our employees by the hour including travel time between visits we would like to see the tracking of travel time integrated more automatically into the software.

Reason for choosing Time To Pet

We began our business in 2009. We wanted to automate our scheduling and invoicing but could not find software that could handle the package plans we offer. We also wanted a scheduler that included a real calendar with time increments not just time blocks for AM, midday and PM. That way we could visually see how much time staff had between visits so we could schedule travel time properly. We searched for years for software both specific to the pet sitting industry and outside the industry. We looked at all the relevant software we could find. We knew this was a major decision for our business but simply could not find a good fit. When Time to Pet began it was like an answer to prayer. I think we were one of their first customers. Choosing Time To Pet was one of the best decisions we ever made for our business.

My IT background gave me a unique perspective when evaluating pet sitting apps and this was the best

Increased communication with staff and customers, visibility into staff work behaviors, GPS location tracking, paper reduction, lower postage costs, audit history which has provided proof when customers questioned the services they were provided, integration with QuickBooks Online, electronic payment processing, email campaigns/bulk messaging, and much more!

PROS

My customers use it and love it! There's something for everyone: email capture for those who prefer email for simple email communications, a customer portal for the online users, and a smartphone app for the trendiest of our clients who want instant access. Our walkers/pet sitters love it! The smartphone app puts client information at their fingertips and gives them instant access to GPS for directions to the next house. Customizable visit reports allow staff to provide a good deal of feedback to customers with very little effort. Office staff love it! We have full visibility to customer requests and data updates, as well as walker locations and their communications with customers. Client service requests and electronic payments reduce workload. Management loves it! Integration with QuickBooks eliminates double entry, and client payment processing and bulk invoicing reduce workload. Reports provide insight into the business. Time to Pet is truly the core of our business.

CONS

Applying a single check to multiple invoices could be more straightforward. If not caught immediately, errors resulting from improper data entry must be corrected in both TTP and QuickBooks. TTP Support has acknowledged the issue and plans to address it in a future release. Data extracts are limited to what is predefined by TTP. I would love the ability to query data directly into Excel to build the more complex reports I need. The built-in staff scheduling features are a bit too basic for my needs, so I use a free third-party product to allow staff to manage their availability and time off requests. This means that unless I replicate their work shifts in TTP manually, I risk making scheduling errors (which I have) and cause last-minute scrambling to fill gaps that could have been avoided. Payroll functionality is too simple for my business. I use Intuit Payroll, and although TTP enables me to extract data needed for payroll, it is a time consuming biweekly effort.

Time To Pet will Make Your Life So Much Easier

The main thing that makes Time To Pet stand out from their competition is that they are constantly taking suggestions from their users and implementing improvements. As long as they keep this up they will continue to be leagues ahead of the other options available!

PROS

Time To Pet comes the closest to automating every aspect of running a pet care company and yet still manages to offer so many ways to customize it to your specific services. Your customers can use the app to request services and your administrators and/or your care providers can approve those requests. Schedules and invoices are ridiculously easy to email out as needed. Communication with your customers and your team are a breeze. It even synchs with Quickbooks to simplify your bookkeeping. I don't know how anyone runs a pet care service without it!

CONS

The only hiccup I've run into so far is that Time To Pet is not able to differentiate between the different types of pets when setting up billing for extra pets. For example, we bill extra for walking any additional dogs more than two. If the customer also has a cat in their profile, the system will still charge the extra fee since it is not able to tell that the third pet is not a dog and thus does not need to be walked.

I rely on Time To Pet for my business everyday

My business is organized and I don't miss messages or scheduled visits that clients have requested. I don't think I could run my business effectively without it.

PROS

I tried a few different software options when I began my pet sitting/dog walking business in 2014. After struggling with another popular software for a month and still not understanding the simplest of tasks, I tried Time To Pet and within one day I could do everything without having to watch training videos and 'learn' how to use it. It's simple for me and my clients constantly tell me it's simple for them and they love it. The creators of Time To Pet are actively in touch with us (the users) through a Facebook group dedicated only to their customers. They answer questions and concerns very quickly and have been working on updates and new features constantly. Every couple of months, another cool feature is added.

CONS

I wish I could respond to client messages by replying to their emails or texts. I receive their messages in a timely fashion but replying can be a lot of extra steps. I'm sure this is something they are working on incorporating in the near future though.

Easy to Use and my Clients love it too!

MOST of all, the added level of professionalism that goes along with having a program like this is HUGE! It keeps you organized and able to focus more time on the fun stuff (loving dogs) than on admin work. My experience to date has been nothing but fantastic!

PROS

I loved how quickly I was able to learn the software. I had trialled two other programs as well and found that neither had the ease of use that Time to Pet offers. They really strive to make your transition into using the program a smooth one, offering you a step-by-step learning tutorial and thereafter an even more informative info/learning session with one of the program reps if you choose. My client's love the ease of use as well and look forward to their daily reports sent to their email.

CONS

-I do wish there were a few more Icons for the reports. -I would like to have the same admin access from my phone through the app to make adjustments on the go rather than having to use my computer (I believe they are working on this). -I am also looking forward to the integration of Quickbooks (in Canada) -Would love to see video capability added in when sending the reports out rather than just photos. -I would also like to have a number to call in times when I just want something resolved quickly. While their customer service really is great, I am just the type that likes to pick up the phone rather than communicate via email.

Time to Pet Software and Staff are great!

Time to Pet has helped me grow my business and excel in customer service. The program encourages communication between our customers and our staff. My experience is excellent.

PROS

One of the first priorities when I set up MGB Pet Sitters, LLC was to research, test, try-out free, and decide on a scheduling program. I'm not a high tech person so it had to be easy to install, set-up, and use. I tried four programs. Time to Pet met all my expectations. TTP has grown with the industry; updates are helpful and increase our effectiveness in customer service. The best reason to by Time to Pet is the company leadership and support staff. When you send a question or problem the answer is promised in one day but usually arrives within a few hours. And the answer is always on point. I'm happy to recommend this software to everyone in the pet care business.

CONS

Any issues I had have been addressed. The knowledge base articles have helped me with a few things I did not understand.

Saves so much time and makes my job pleasant

We previously used Google Calendar for our daily schedules and Freshbooks for team paystubs but implementing Time To Pet cut off so many unnecessary wasted hours of work by making most of our work flow automated. It is an amazing product for everyone who works in pet business.

PROS

The team in Time To Pet cares a lot about us managers, they go through every little point of our daily routine and make it as easy as possible for us. I can't count how many times we asked for a feature and they implemented it. And I often find some new feature that they added and it always is something amazing and helps work flow. They are constantly working to make the software even better on top of the amazing product they already created. I don't think I have ever dealt with such a nice product and support team.

CONS

Time To Pet had some troubles with servers in the past and several times we had a complete black out where teams didn't have access to their schedules, client info, etc., which was extremely painful right in the middle of our day. But as always they handled it professionally and upgraded their systems promptly to make sure that doesn't happen again.

Time To Pet has been a lifesaver for us!

PROS

Having everything in one place (pet info, client info, scheduling, invoices, payment processing) has changed everything for us since we switched from all Google based products. We love that the clients have the ability to see their schedule and update their info on their own. It's also great to be able to determine how much transparency the owners actually have with different feature options for their end. My team has a one-stop shop for all information and communications on an easy to use app. It stores all communication in one easy place, as well as any pictures taken of the pups! The developers are quick to respond to any questions or issues and they are an absolute pleasure to work with. They also truly value the needs and requests of the users and are constantly upgrading features.

CONS

It's hard to think of any! I suppose I would say the relay messaging. It would be great for there to be a way that a client's response went to only the people who sent the original message, rather than the listed team members for that pup in their profile. But truly, that's not a common issue.

Great Company!

My overall experience has been excellent. I don't know what I would do without this software.

PROS

Functions apply to real-life situations. Some functions implemented that aren't just for scheduling and pet information tracking, such as pet-sitting client feedback. Always adding features based on Time to Pet client feedback. Timely response to questions I have.

CONS

There isn't anything that I like least about the software. There is a bit of a learning curve, but you have that with any software. I have mentioned features that would be of use to me to put on the list of possible updates. A lot of the new features don't apply to small companies like mine where I work by myself and don't have employees or IC's. However, I understand and respect the time it takes to program new features to implement and that priority has to be given to where the most need is based on client feedback.

Game changer

I live Time to Pet and the people that work hard behind the scenes to constantly improve TTP.

PROS

Time to Pet makes managing my pet care business a breeze. I am able to see what my employees are doing without having to micromanage them. I am able to stay connected with my clients and they are able to stay connected with my employees without my employees having to share their personal phone numbers. Time to Pet gives EVERYONE peace of mind. The reporting helps me see how the company is doing too. Customer service is top notch.

CONS

The price is the only con and obviously, I think it is worth it.

Reason for choosing Time To Pet

It seemed to be a better product with better customer service They really bend over backwards to help. They are very responsive to their clients.

I have piece of mind now!

I have been a Time to Pet client since September 2015. I have to say that I'm so thankful to have found them! I tried so many different software products pertaining to Dog Walking/Pet Sitting and just found them too cumbersome and not easy to navigate and then one day I stumbled upon TTP. Signed up for the 30 day free trial and I was hooked. Customer Support is very quick to answer any question, concern or a future addition too the software that you'd like to see implemented. This software has allowed me to hire more walkers and accept more clients and keep everything nice and neat and even accept credit card or ACH payments. All of my clients rave about being able to request, cancel and pay for their walks all online. If you're contemplating this, get it now. You will not be sorry. You too can get the piece of mind that Time to Pet has given me and all of my walkers absolutely LOVE IT! No more calling, texting, updating....It's all done in the application and the walkers immediately get an email of any updates, change, cancellations. They also get an email each morning of their daily schedule. WIN-WIN for everyone. Thank you Time to Pet!
