Great Compliance Tool for Small Business

PROS

I own a small business in Chicago, Illinois. I learned that the State passed a law in 2020 that requires sexual harassment training for all businesses, regardless of size or status (ie full-time v part-time) of employees. I never had to provide this type of training for my employees before and with COVID-19 I was not sure what to do. I did a Google search and came across EasyLlama. Game changer. It was so easy to use. I quickly added my employees and myself and assigned them the appropriate training (employee v. supervisor). My team and I completed the required in less than 3 days, at our own pace. I will definitely recommend EasyLlama and plan to use it again as I onboard more employees.

CONS

I do not have anything to compare EasyLlama to. It was easy to use and fulfilled the State's requirements to provide sexual harassment to employees of my company. They did send me an offer for HIPAA training, but it did not apply to my business.

Taking Care of Business

We needed to get all of our employees qualified and trained with the State of Illinois Sexual Harassments Mandated Training by December 31, 2020.

PROS

The features as far as setting up the portal to email the individual employees to take the seminars was effortless! I called the support number and they were very helpful.

CONS

The integration to our existing list of employees in our ADP portal was challenging. But in the end Easy Llama had a solution.

Amazing Product!

Great! EasyLlama makes my job a lot easier!

PROS

What I most love about EasyLlama is that it integrates with our existing HRIS System, Gusto, so my new employees automatically feed into the platform. I also love that it is so affordable and easy to use. I also like the idea of purchasing seats and purchasing them prior to being able to assign trainings; this makes billing more manageable. Lastly, I appreciate the email notifications I get when someone has completed their training.

CONS

I honestly can't think of anything that I don't love about this product

Reason for choosing EasyLlama

Our Insurance Brokers purchased a ThinkHR subscription for us. However, the plan we were on was only offering Supervisor Harassment Training. The option to upgrade to include non-supervisors was too expensive compared to the rates EasyLlama was offering.

Amazing HR training tool

Excellent I would recommend them to any company small or large

PROS

Utilizing easy llama for HR training for people who are not computer savvy actually worked quite well. I love the way once we entered everybody in it tractor volunteers tracked where they were when it came to training tracked whether or not they completed things. It was amazing after years of struggling with getting harassment training completed. This was a great tool for us to save time and energy for all.

CONS

Most of the difficulties I had with the product were because I am disabled, not because of the product. Whenever I called customer service they were amazing and got back to me on the same day. They were extremely helpful, friendly, and never made me feel like I didn’t know what I was doing.

I love this product!

Sexual Harassment Prevention is a mandatory training and Easy Llama has taken care of this for me by researching the laws of each state for me. They put the training together so I don't have to spend hours or weeks on trying to learn the various ins and outs of putting this type of thing together for presentation.

PROS

I work for a startup company and I wear multiple hats at this stage of the game. Anything that I can use to make my job easier is a benefit. I believe the Llama character helps make this easy on the eyes too. We were at a company outing, and I heard employees talking about the "mascots" of two of the products used by us and how they enjoyed them. Of course, the llama was one of the two mentioned. Easy llama makes keeping track of who has completed which training very easy. Easy Llama sends training reminders and sends me a weekly report of what is happening with my employees. I also like that a certificate is produced at the end of each employee's completion of their training. This certificate is downloadable, which is great too. Let's face it, any training that you do not have to put together, ensure you are up to date on the laws of each state that remote employees reside in, will make your life easier. Employees can do this at their leisure, you do not have to work around anyone's schedule, and you do not have to "be the trainer".

CONS

I seriously cannot think of any downside to this product. It might be fun if the Llama was given a voice

Love EasyLlama Training

I greatly appreciate the easy of purchasing credits to be used for training, assigning training, as well as the mobility of training since our team members are in and out of the office doing service calls they are able to complete the training when it is best for them instead of a specific time and/or place.

PROS

Easy to navigate the website and assign training to our Team Members. Allows us to keep track of who has completed training, when it was completed, when it will need to be done again.

CONS

We have a training computer room set up for new hires. It would be great if there was a way for administrators to access the link for individual trainees without them having to login to their personal emails on the training computer in order to access the training link.

Reasons for switching to EasyLlama

Cost increase for training and I had heard that EasyLlama was much easier and better company to navigate and train with for administrators and employees alike.

Easy to use

Overall, we are very satisfied with Easy Llama software and it's courses. It's very simple and easy for everyone to start a training. We wish they provide more courses so that we don't need to explore other online training vendors.

PROS

Very easy to use for both administrators and employees. Unlike other online training courses, no long-term commitment before using it. We can to purchase necessary credits.

CONS

I prefer the previous version of Easy Llama software. The current version is a bit hard for me to find a function I want to use. It's been updated so often and makes administrators confused every time we want to assign a training.

EasyLlama is a great partner for training needs

EasyLlama's illustrations and dramatizations more closely represents the diversity in my company's population than any of its competitors. When I started researching platforms for sexual harassment prevention training, I was surprised to find the content offered by many vendors to be dated and stereotypical in their illustrations and dramatizations, potentially offensively so. It was refreshing to find material that was engaging and illustrative of such a wide variety of identities.

PROS

The software is fantastic from both the perspective of the user and the administrator. The onboarding process is efficient, clearly explained, and easily implemented. I've also received extremely positive feedback from team members regarding the way the training material is presented. Several team members commented that the varied and interactive presentation tools aided them in retaining the information, and also commented that it is of particular benefit to non-neurotypical learners.

CONS

I do have one small suggestion. The search bar in which new trainings are assigned does not appear to have the ability to be limited to the trainings that an institution is using, which increases typing/scrolling time in finding the correct training to correct. It would be great to have an option to assign a "short list" or library of trainings from which to choose, prior to having to navigate the entire list.

Great job Easyllama

Overall great experience. I love website that are easy to use and where the main features are in front of you in order for the experience to be smooth and not time consuming.

PROS

I love the Easy llama made the Harassment training interactive and less painful to go through. It is great for employees to be able to do the course at their own pace instead of having to do a companywide meeting.

CONS

Integration with some payroll providers would be great. We use paylocity and integrating the training into the onboarding process would be great.

EasyLlama Training

From researching the service to implementing the training, it has been a smooth process. No concerns or disappointments.

PROS

The ease to set up and track the training for all our employees. It literally takes 2 minutes to send an invite to a new hire to complete their sexual harassment training. I can then see at any time if someone has started or completed their training.

CONS

Honestly, I do not have any dislikes. The videos are updated, cover the legal requirements, and retained my attention.

While both sources provided the required state training and were updated, EasyLlama was much more cost-effective for my company.

User-friendly, fun, effective!!!

Overall, all employees and staff had only positive feedback about their experience. It was completed by everyone before the Jan 1 deadline for the Harassment Training, and left a lasting impression on everyone.

PROS

What I liked most about this software was how it was broken down into smaller segments and had interactive aspects to it to, to test your knowledge. It was also informational but made learning fun.

CONS

N/A. Everything about the software was great.

I chose EasyLlama over other products while researching because of its positive reviews and after viewing the demo. I also spoke to a representative, told them our company size and needs, and had a positive experience from the start. The pricing also made sense, and it was so simple to add employees and assign the appropriate training.

We successfully complied with our new State mandated annual employees' training, and we will continue to use it.

PROS

We used this product to provide State mandated training for all employees. It worked fine and the support and monitoring systems is very good.

Easy EasyLLama

We don't have problem as such that EasyLlama solved. We just thought it would be good practice to have Harassment training though it is not required in our state.

PROS

Integration was slow, but not on EasyLLama's side, it was the payroll company who seemed to drag their heels.

CONS

I am a little disappointed in the number of trainings, though I did know what was available before I signed up. There looks like a lot, but that is because there are about a thousand different ones on the same subject. I understand why, but it's a pain to scroll through dozens of harassment trainings to get to the next subject.
