### Most mentioned pros

- The platform is intuitive enough that I can launch new courses, manage enrollments, and pull reporting on the same day, and it's structured enough to support the kind of role-based remedial training catalogs we've built out across our Scanner, Facilities Floater, and Receiving/Forklift teams.

We are so happy with LearnUpon and plan to stick with them for a very long time. They offer the best support in the business, and they are constantly working to make things even better. They listen to their customers and implement appropriate changes wherever they can.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

LearnUpon quite literally solved all of my problems that I had with my homemade LMS. It does everything I need, and has so many extra options that I couldn't have even dreamed of having! It has truly transformed "learning" at our company! The support that LearnUpon offers is absolutely unparalleled, and a huge benefit for me using an out of the box LMS for the very first time.

#### Cons

I've had no issues at all, we are very happy with LearnUpon. Coming from a homemade LMS, getting the real deal is so amazing that it's hard to find anything bad to say.

#### Reasons for choosing LearnUpon

LearnUpon offered all of the same functionality as the other two but had a cheaper price tag and better long term support.

My company has been with LU for 4 years - I was part of the team that vetted LMS companies and ultimately choose LU. They have not disappointed. They have a great core crew who keep their eye on providing a tool that has a good UI and easy-to-learn software, backed up by a very robust customer support philosophy and team with continuous ongoing innovation and improvements.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

It's simplicity of use, the customer support focus of the company, the page and template design and the portal design so we can target different learning audiences. It's handled thousands of learners taking courses either through learning pathways or solo courses. Mostly it just works - and when it doesn't, the support team will stick with the problem until it gets resolved.

#### Cons

I think the built in course builder tools are limited. The addition of Create+ will largely solve for that.

#### Reasons for choosing LearnUpon

UI, authentic sales team experience (we got a lot of empty sales approaches, LU's team presented as genuine, authentic and more honest), great customer service approach, product had the right balance of basic functionality + bells and whistles.

Very positive! I have felt like a part of their team since day 1, and they have been very understanding to our companies needs. I have felt seen and heard as well as put as ease when I haven't felt like a "techy-pro" throughout the process. I've been proud of the system we were able to build, even without being the most technical person out there. :-)

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Very easy to understand and start developing. We were able to have meetings as often as we needed to understand the system page by page. From the time of purchase we were able to be setup in 6-7 months and had a very successful launch to our entire sales force (country-wide) in November of 2025. We have also had support since our launch. Being newbies to the world of LMS, I cannot express the appreciation and gratitude we have knowing we have so much support! The ability to breakdown subjects into multiple modules has also allowed a comprehensive experience for our reps. Between the courses we've been able to add to the catalog, as well as setting up learning journeys we've been able to take advantage of multiple elements to the system. I've been able to implement reporting and tracking which has allowed us to get a pulse on where our field personnel is at with comfortability and overall knowledge of our many product lines in our company.

#### Cons

I struggle a little with understanding the Live Learning setup, but I think I just need more practice. We won't be using the feature quite yet, so I'm sure the support team will be able to help me once I'm ready!

#### Reasons for choosing LearnUpon

The overall feel of the system, ability to practice in a demo space, pricing, and knowledge of how much 24/7 support that would be available directly from the company.

#### Pros

The support team is so quick to respond to our department's inquiries and to address issues. I usually get a response within the work-day.

#### Cons

Learners need to be able to access their earned course certificates after their access expires! Currently, this isn't an option. I wish that the platform allowed for easier quick-view and filterable results of things that mattered to us. Much like "Enrollments" got an upgrade in ability to filter and bulk unenroll, I wish that feature was available for Learning Paths. Right now, it is not easy to see the relationship between groups and their assigned learning paths. I want excel-level filter functionality with all user and engagement data! When searching for courses or users, we need page navigation at the bottom instead of always having to click back or forward on result pages.

#### Reasons for switching to LearnUpon

Freestone didn't meet our needs, was clunky, and user support wasn't that great

The team at LearnUpon can't be beat. They are responsive, attentive, and always improving the product. When I have an issue they don't leave me hanging and when I have feedback they're receptive. We used 3 different LMS prior to moving to LU and I'm so glad we found them.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

We've been able to customize our learning options and track key metrics on performance and product knowledge. I love that there are options to create content in the platform or use SCORM files. The reporting is really great too and very customizable. I set up reports for all the department heads and they get them automated to their email each week.

#### Cons

I would love to be able to schedule course assignments by date. For example, when we have a product launch going out next month, it would be nice to create the training, schedule the date for it to assign to specific teams, and then forget about it.

#### Reasons for switching to LearnUpon

We needed reporting that was focused on coursework and not on sales.

### A Purpose-Built LMS That Scales With a Growing L&D Function

- Overall rating: 5/5

LearnUpon has been the backbone of our training operation since I built our L&D function from the ground up. As a solo training department supporting roughly 1,700 warehouse associates across multiple locations, I needed an LMS that could handle role-specific learning paths, e-signature acknowledgements, prerequisites, and reporting without requiring a dedicated admin team to run it. LearnUpon delivers on that. The platform is intuitive enough that I can launch new courses, manage enrollments, and pull reporting on the same day, and it's structured enough to support the kind of role-based remedial training catalogs we've built out across our Scanner, Facilities Floater, and Receiving/Forklift teams. It's a platform that gets out of the way and lets the training work do the work.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The user interface is clean and uncluttered, which matters when you're onboarding warehouse associates who aren't sitting at a desk all day. Course assignment, prerequisites, and learning paths are straightforward to configure, and the e-signature and acknowledgement functionality has been essential for our compliance work, including our annual employee handbook rollout. File and document management is well-organized — uploading SCORM packages from Easy Generator, attaching supporting documents, and updating course versions is fast and predictable. Customer support has been responsive and knowledgeable; when I've submitted tickets, I've gotten substantive answers rather than scripted replies. The platform handles team collaboration well through groups and learning paths, which lets us segment content by role, location, and management level without duplicating courses. For the feature set and reliability we get, the value for money has been strong relative to what we evaluated.

#### Cons

Bugs and issues have been minimal in my experience, but the reporting interface has a learning curve when you want to build something more custom than the standard exports. A more flexible report builder with saved templates would be a meaningful upgrade. I'd also like to see a few more native authoring features inside the platform itself — not as a replacement for dedicated tools like Easy Generator, but for quick assignments and acknowledgement-style content where launching an external authoring tool feels heavy.

#### Pros

LearnUpon's customer service is absolutely the best thing about them! They are customer-focused and it shows in everything they do!

#### Cons

Because we train outside of our organization, no LMS platform is perfect for our unique needs.

#### Reasons for choosing LearnUpon

LearnUpon had the most features for the best price. Plus, I loved that they set up time for me to speak with a customer in a similar field, so I knew exactly what we were getting into before we signed anything.

#### Reasons for switching to LearnUpon

At the time, Coursemill was only able to deliver SCORM courses, but we were also doing webinars and live trainings. We needed a one-stop-shop for our learners. Additionally, Coursemill was very difficult to use.

When evaluating solutions, the LearnUpon sales team was responsive from day 1 -- you sometimes have sales teams who show up and read you their demo script, but LU showed up to listen first, and ask questions, and then demo how they could meet our needs. The trial version gave us an opportunity to test out branding and functionality requirements. Branding the trial portal to reflect our corporate look and feel was a slam dunk, took maybe 1 hour max. In fact we were able to go live with no additional portal branding effort, and our company maintains a high aesthetic bar. In the full version we spent time designing all aspects of the portal exactly how we wanted them. There's enough granularity to meet our need without the pointless option overload that so often can sacrifice intuitive usability. Our dedicated Customer Success Manager was ready, willing, and able to offer suggestions, take questions back to the team, and help us push the solution to maximum value. (I've worked with the LMS "big guys" too, who keep you on hold for 20 min to answer a simple question and dole out onboarding support by the spoonful -- LearnUpon always makes me feel like I'm one IN a million, never of of the million). Setting up SSO was a breeze with our Confluence gateway. We launched in April and are growing client users by about 10% a week. I honestly can't say enough good stuff about LearnUpon's customer support ethic. They "get" it.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Excellent blend of intuitive aesthetic design and functionality -- LU works the way we need it to work, as we partition projects across portals and clients into self-contained user groups. We're able to maintain our brand presence for clients, meet our organizational goals and our customers' needs effectively -- with little to no compromise on our vision. On top of this, LU customer support is the best in the business.

#### Cons

There's not much to not like about LearnUpon. The system continues to mature and improve incrementally with each release. More attention could (and is) being paid to Reporting capabilities. Functionality to nest Groups would also be helpful, or minimally the ability to copy an existing Group.

#### Reasons for choosing LearnUpon

The buying experience, trial period results, customer support, and pricing.

Customer Service, Customer Service, Customer Service. This company never ceases to amaze me when it comes to the hands-on approach they take to customer service. You are assigned a customer success manager from day one, and that individual walks you through the entire process. For us, it was the process of switching from one provider to LearnUpon, and my CSM (Sam) made the process extremely easy. If there is ever a tech issue their tech support help desk is fast to come to the rescue and they treat your issues as seriously as you do.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

This LMS is very user-friendly both from the management side and the learner side. It is visually pleasing to look at, and you don't have to have any coding experience to customize the content and environment to fit your customer's needs and brands.

#### Cons

If I had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find something I didn't like I would say that on occasion there is a "click" too many in a process of creating a course or assessment. With that being said, I have been with LearnUpon now for 2 years and they are constantly improving their platform and I have seen improvement in this area.

#### Reasons for switching to LearnUpon

Customer service was non-existent

I would wholeheartedly recommend Learnupon as an LMS. They are a cost-effective and customer-responsive company with an excellent product.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

There are two benefits to working with Learnupon. The first is the LMS itself. It is easy to use, has a number of very helpful automated features which save me time and effort, and it integrates well with my authored content. The second benefit is the Learnupon staff. They are available when needed and if there are any problems they quickly follow-up and get my problems taken care of.

#### Cons

One frustrating thing with any LMS is integration with authored content (e.g. storyline). With authored content sometimes you don't know why things aren't working. Early in my e-learning career, I had a lot of problems getting my authored content to work properly on Learnupon. With some help and coaching from Learnupon, I found that it was mostly the way I was building my projects and, with some restructuring, things are now working great. Learnupon has helped me work through my own learning curve.

My overall experience with LearnUpon has been fantastic. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and his team helped me to realize and build our online training site from the ground up. They were very patient with me in regards to training, answering my questions, and troubleshooting any issues that I encountered.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The software is very easy to use and versatile. I was able to customize the platform to match our company's banding and set it up to our very specific needs. I also like that I can choose to create a course using an external design software, upload it easily, and pair it with some of the design features already built into LearnUpon such as the exam and survey functions, or design the entire course completely within the software.

#### Cons

The only need that is lacking for us is the ability to sell tangible products through LearnUpon using the built in eCommerce function.
