The resources and flexibility that KPA offers are its two biggest draws. #### Cons The only con with KPA lies in certain functionality; when a report is pulled with parameters, unless the results are opened in a new window, clicking back on the browser will reset the search. We are a very eager business and are sure of the decisions we make. The ability to jump over the theatrics of multiple tedious discussions, pre-demo, to allow us to truly see KPA's benefits from the start, easily put KPA's product as the front runner as we worked through multiple EHS Software providers. SDS management can be a bear, and costly for no reason. This would be a very strategic move for KPA to include this standard with the platform as it is a must in general industry, yet so costly for minimal viewership of the actual SDS's. No incentive was offered Mixed bag with flex. It's a good form builder, but not much else. I have been able to replicate what it can do in google or monday with better data/dashboard results. You can pull lots of data points from your forms and make them quite extensive. But the lack of across-the-board customization, at-form dashboards, the site's slowness, limited dashboard usage, and the inability to support slightly more extensive functions like risk assessments without becoming a burden were more of a burden on our company than a benefit. I sing the praises of KPA to every one I meet. Once employees in the company realized how easy it was to use the implementation went through the roof. It simply works. Employees are able to log in and get right to work without learning a whole bunch of new processes. #### Cons The biggest sticking point for us is the ability to add options to the testing. The quiz function is limited to multiple choice and it would be nice to add an option for a short answer question. Some user are professional while others are beginners. KPA is user friendly and on the first day of deployment, one user said. "The system is self explanatory and very easy to follow." When I have an issue arise, the customer support staff is very fast in responding and quick with a possible solution. There are no "voting buttons" to get something resolved. #### Cons I am not able to pull action items (follow ups) from one source and do a dive into where they came from. How many were from an audit, incident, investigation, inspection, etc. I was told this is in the works. #### Reasons for switching to Novara Flex Every time we had an issue, the solution was "it's your cell service" or "there is not enough votes to fix that". You can take one of its features and adapt and customize it to do anything from simple to incredibly complex. #### Cons I like to work out of something more of a spreadsheet format and I don't see that as possible within KPA. One of our customers were so impressed, they even made the switch to IScout contacting me on a couple of occasions for assisting in putting together certain aspects of their program. #### Reasons for switching to Novara Flex The ERP system was builted in-house to tie all aspects of Conquest business together. Problem was the HSE functions were not sufficient. Although Conquest invested heavily in the HSE section of ERP, I was able to convenience the SR. Leadership team that ISCOUT was a more sufficient program. Following numerous audits and customer review meetings promoting HSE assisted by ISCOUT; Conquest was often given very high regards for an impeccable HSE Management System with such a small company. Even numerous our Insurance Adjusters praised our system, stating they never witnessed any better with small companies such as our. We have saved tons of time. And the forms can be customized in just about anyway you can imagine. #### Cons The training feature we have just recently started using on a wide scale due to COVID 19 and it has been an excellent tool. However, It can be cumbersome. It would be nice if the system had a calendar built in similar to the outlook calendar to help build in when certain training's get kicked out and to set reminders to me as to when a training is going to be available. I am talking specifically from a administrator stand point. You can assign training and have them sent out on a certain date no problem, I am talking more specifically about a calendar to open similar to outlook to see monthly and yearly what training is coming up. We use this system daily and never really run into any major problems. It is very easy to use and the customer service is perfect if you do run into any issues. it truly can make a difference in the companies safety expectations, and culture that it may be trying to enhance. I recommend it to anyone I come in contact with who may ask for a system like what iScout offers. The things you can do with it for your company is fantastic. I have not seen a system that can offer what iScout can offer. #### Cons I have yet to really run into an issue with iscout that is something that negative to remember. If anything, I would like the ability to be able to import multiple photos in the forms we use during our audits. Right now you have to select one and then go back in to select another. The software is easy to follow and use. Even for the technology challenged - it was easy for them to jump in and use. Allows us to create reports and conduct analytics on the data. #### Cons Creating documents - but KPA was there to assist. No matter how many times we decided to move in another direction.
