E-mail marketing made easy
We use it weekly and in some cases daily. It's easy to use, easy to get data and easy to setup and change according with the reports we are able to obtain.
PROSThe platform is really user friendly and it allows us to integrate data with our in-house developed systems.
CONSThe customisation of the design of each e-mail it's a little bit tricky, but we make it work with our own designs being uploaded in the platform.
Reason for choosing Brevo
Our IT team felt comfortable working the integrations through Sendinblue with our systems, also the price for more than 100,000 sent e-mails was critical in the decision. The marketing department were also happy working with the data and reports the platform provides.
Reasons for switching to Brevo
Mostly because we were looking for a better integration with our own systems and Sendinblue was the best option.

Sendinblue is a great email marketing platform
Overall, I have had a positive experience with Sendinblue. The platform is easy to use and the reporting features are really helpful in improving my email marketing results. I would definitely recommend Sendinblue to anyone looking for a good email marketing solution. Sadly we missed alot of other features, so we switched over to a more complete platform. But price wise sendinblue is GREAT for email marketing!
PROSI have been using Sendinblue for a while now and I have to say that I am really happy with it. It is a great platform for sending out newsletters and other automated emails. The reporting features are also really good, and I have been able to improve my open rates and click-through rates thanks to the insights I have gained from the reports. Overall, I would highly recommend Sendinblue to anyone looking for a great email marketing platform.
CONSI didn't really like the fact that I couldn't personalize my emails as much as I would have liked. I also found the interface a bit confusing at times.
Reason for choosing Brevo
I chose Sendinblue because it is easier to use and has better reporting features than Activecampaign. The platform is also a lot cheaper, which was a big plus for the customer at that time.

Great value for money
I am using Brevo from a few months now and I think it’s one of the best options out there. I really appreciate the flexibility it provides - each month I am choosing how many e-mails I’ll send and I don’t overspend when I know that my e-mail marketing is not gonna be my main focus this month (as a solo-entrepreneur I have to juggle a lot of things). I love the fact that that you can have unlimited base of contacts and just pay for the e-mails you send - that’s what really stands out compared to the offers from other newsletter software suppliers. The editor is easy to use and pretty intuitive, e-mails look very professional and neat. The reports are easy to read and understand. As a small business owner I highly recommend it!
CONSI wish the function that lets you see what is gonna be the best sending time for your contacts was available in the basic plan

Good Email automation tool for marketing
Brevo formally know as Sendiblue has been very resourceful to our organization. The user interface is friendly, it has good automation features and also supports sms marketing besides email marketing.
CONSAfter using other softwares, I discovered that this software is some how limited in analytics. Hope that's looked into in the nearest future.

Easy and user friendly interface
Overall, there is very good potential and the product is already very user friendly, graphical interface and navigation was easy to work with. No training was needed and was able to create account, verify domain, and create campaing very quickly.
PROSSetting up all the contacts and creating the first campaign was seamless and very easy. Navigation is user friendly and easy to work with.
CONSMaybe make a note that when adding a new contact list there needs to be a 24hr verification process so that we wouldn't be surprised if we need to create something quickly and have time to prepare..etc

Amazing Value, Great Deliverability, Powerful Featureset, Some Learning Curve and Rough Edges
I love the value of this product. I can send more emails to way more contacts for less money. The automation features are powerful and flexible, including jumping from one automation to another or repeating part of a workflow based on action or inaction. I love it. Deliverability is the best I've seen and they make it easy to track issues with particular domains. Thank you! Analytics and reports are solid.
CONSThe onboarding was a mess with errors in their documentation: it took us three months or so, so plan for that. Their support was AWFUL then but has improved dramatically in the year since so I would not be surprised if onboarding has improved. Their SMS feature is not that useful: I can automate sending SMSs but if anyone replies, I can receive it but cannot reply to them individually. The SMSs come from a random number that is not consistent so recipients cannot effectively add you to their contacts or send a text to that number. Probably better to use a separate SMS service. Their advanced email personalization is difficult to set up. Basic stuff like first name is easy but populating event-based info like order details is hard.

Sendinblue. For those that want an all in one solution for mail, marketing, list management
Before Send in blue I had dabbled with mailchimp and found it so hard to do anything and all the time being punished with the financial hits of the charges. Once I signed up for Sendinblue the whole mailshot, landing page, website to data opt in became a breeze. Anytime I faltered I went back to the sendinblue videos or course. Everything is a delight to do and creating a campaign less painful than before and the deliverability is high. A true winner of an experience.
PROSSend in Blue makes is easy to mark out and make a plan of action so you know what you want to do. From the campaign email through to the landing page, to the sign ups and all integrated nicely with my wordpress website and Elementor. As it is all in one place you can skip in and out and work on components and filter and sort the emails. Make a list of what you want and Send in Blue has it somewhere. I even took a certified course in send in blue on marketing automation using send in blue (free course).
CONSThe only downside to Sendinblue for me was my lack of knowledge. However Sedin blue top the rescue with their free courses. Now I invested a few days of y time doing them and in the process the light bulb came on on what I needed to do. Once I got it, those training courses were the perfect tutor, they not only taught me automation and everything else, better, they did it so I could do what I learnt in the Sendinblue dashboard. Win win

Best value in the business
I've been doing email-centric marketing for years, and the game has changed over the last few years. If you're looking to move from an old-school platform like Mailchimp to a proper (email-centric, web-tracking) marketing automation platform, you're typically looking at expensive options (Marketo/Pardot/Hubspot/Eloqua). SendinBlue is more in line with a platform like Active Campaign, and while perhaps not as mature/feature-full, it is incredibly affordable for what it offers.

CONSA few non-core features are 'half-baked' (e.g chat widget doesn't have mobile apps for operators, who must rely on browser notifications; 'CRM' is really a bare-bones marketing-CRM, not a proper CRM that a sales team or larger organization could rely on). Email builder could be a little more flexible (forces you to choose between raw HTML mode and page-builder mode)

Game Changer
Overall, SendinBlue has been a huge game changer for our company. I have been doing the email marketing for over 5 years and with our previous provider it was a time-suck for little result. I'm happy that there are constantly updates and changes being made to stay current and enhance the features available. Not only has SendInBlue saved me a ton of time, it has really increased the value of our email marketing program.
PROSIt's overall ease of use was a big pro when I first saw it, but I think the selling point for me was the contact management capabilities. The ability to keep all of our lists in one place and be able to filter for certain contacts has changed the way that we market and has made the process of personalizing one hundred times easier.
CONSBeing the analytics person for the company, I am disappointed with the limited abilities of pulling our results.

The overall functionality and value for the money seemed to be the best. We were interested in the upcoming abilities to A/B test at the time and I liked the contact management the most.

Reliability of emailing service and deliverability
We have been using this tool for several cases: transaction emails (notifications and conformations ) for our software service, email marketing campaigns, Analytics&Logs. These tools are very useful for us, as we need to provide various important notifications + instant alerts. Thus, reliability with deliverability is an important metric for us. The system shows about 94% delivered emails, which is a good number. Support is also very good.
CONSWe often experience issues with the reliability of service. The system got down or degraded each month, sometimes twice per month. So, our notifications were delayed for a couple of hours, and our customers didn’t receive instant emails with notifications. This is not so much important for email marketing campaigns, but for the transactions, this is the #1 priority, especially if you provide your service around the world. Hope, Sendinblue will improve its infrastructure and reliability.

We had issues with the deliverability, it was about 88-89% plus often obtaining spam rules and didn’t have good guides to sort out it. Sendinblue helped us with the correct setup.

A short discussion about Sendinblue
I use Sendinblue to send out transactional emails for the platforms I develop on. I stay away from the marketing feature.
PROSIn terms of getting started to get a mailing server, for free, I don't think you'll find better. Sendinblue is an effective option to automate your email setup, and it's hassle free. If you've worked with API before, this will be no problem at all. Even if you haven't they take care of you with starter templates.
CONSThe website is incredibly slow. You will sit there just waiting for the page to load, even if it's simple data. Additionally, sendinblue does a horrible job documenting and announcing their own vetting process. I once purchased SIB Credit and had no feedback as to why it wasn't credited to my account. All of the top support docs just told me to look into my account or buy credit. It turns out, you have to contact support to get your account activated. Additionally, there are a few API contact adding handlers that could work a little bit better, and handle errors better.

Anyone can use this!
We were looking at email marketing and automation of our daily tasks as our candidate base had gotten very large and we needed a solution. We used others like Sendgrid and Mailchimp, but either their features were too limiting or you had to scale up and pay quickly to get the solution you wanted or it was too difficult to navigate around as an end user.
PROSAs an end user and no training in IT whatsoever, I would say that it has made email marketing easy and accessible for those who are looking at a feature filled but simple dashboard with excellent analytics to boot. Far better than any other email marketing solution out there and it does the thinking for you, they've really thought out the end user here and made things simple.
CONSI'd say the pricing is fairly steep for a start up like ours, but at the moment we're becoming so reliant on this service and the paid features look like true added value so I might be being a bit miserly!
