Pros
- The software is great for dictation. I use it for English and Dutch with some words added to the vocabulairy because of the fact that they are typical acronyms (like WSO2, APIM etc).
- The ability to create custom commands this is superb. The software has a great deal going for it.
Cons
- It basically just keeps failing – it is not consistent in terms of its operation and use. For example, this morning, I trained a couple of words i.e. acronyms that I use on a regular basis.
- Sometimes the product does not work well depending on your accent.
Pros
- It is very convenient and easy to use. I love how easy it is to connect to a foot pedal.
- I like Express scribe because it has so many settings which help you make the process of transcribing easy.
Cons
- When I requested a link to an older version 9.11 as opposed to 10.05, they stopped replying to my emails completely. When you purchase a product it should work, no matter what the price.
- Probably setting the hotkeys to control and pause the audio - often conflicts with other apps.
