Note taking capabilities the best of those (other practice management software programs) I’ve tried (and I tried a few!). Saves me an awful lot of admin time. No incentive was offered My experience has unfortunately gone from being relatively positive about the software itself to being extremely disappointed in Nookal as a company. I completely understand that technology can fail, administrative mistakes happen, and sometimes an IT issue takes time to resolve. What I find unacceptable is expecting a customer to bear the financial consequences when those issues and delays were not of their making, and then refusing repeated, reasonable requests to put the situation right. I genuinely tried to work constructively with Nookal throughout this. I followed up numerous times, waited while issues were referred to IT, accepted that they could not provide a timeframe, and continued trying to resolve things politely. After all of that, I asked several times for the costs I had incurred as a result to be reimbursed. The response has effectively been a flat refusal, with no meaningful attempt to find a fair compromise. For me, customer service is not about how a company behaves when everything is working perfectly. It is about how they treat a customer when something goes wrong. This experience has left me feeling that there was very little ownership, empathy or interest in reaching a fair outcome. There are other practice management systems available, and support is something I would now place very high on the list when choosing one. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend healthcare businesses explore their alternatives before committing to Nookal. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 1/5 - Value for money: 1/5 - Customer support: 1/5 - Functionality: 1/5 #### Pros For the day-to-day running of my physiotherapy business, Nookal generally did what I needed it to do. It has a useful range of practice management features and I used the system successfully for several years. Unfortunately, my experience when I actually needed meaningful support has completely changed my overall view of the company. #### Cons The customer service and lack of accountability when something went wrong have been incredibly disappointing. I spent weeks trying to resolve issues, repeatedly being told they were with IT, there was no timeframe for resolution, and that I essentially had to wait. During this process, my ACC digital certificate was removed when it did not need to be, resulting in me having to pay to have a new certificate issued. The delays also contributed to my account remaining open longer while I was trying to finalise and cancel everything, and I was subsequently charged another month’s subscription. I have explained the circumstances clearly and repeatedly asked, politely and reasonably, for these additional costs to be refunded or reimbursed. Despite this, Nookal has flatly refused. There has been seemingly no willingness to acknowledge the impact of what happened, compromise, or offer any meaningful resolution. My overall experience has been very positive.
