Its hard to focus on what you need to see as the interface is very cluttered. Also, Hardware requirements and licensing can be taxing.

VSphere has robustness with simple ease of use and equally easy deployment with great support and documentation.

Pricing for smaller business can be a pain. Smaller companies that are trying to adopt VMware will find it very hard on the wallet.

Very friendly interface and the ability to increase VM specs without the need to shutdown the VM also very stable when migrating VMs from a host to another.

Now I run all our servers on VMWare with an integrated remote cloud service for backup. Just the ability to preserve data stored in the vintage ERP alone was worth the cost.

It is a great software, even masterpiece in some aspects. But it feels as it requires too much resources and money to be justified in the most of cases.

With the recent Corvid outbreak, we were actually able to implement VPNs and grant remote access without having to invest in new hardware.

Robust and can be easily integrated with third party applications and plugins like NetApp, EMC etc. Update manager is also integrated which cn be used to upgrade associated ESXi hosts, and components.

I love how powerful and useful this hypervisor is. with the html5 interface and solid functionality , it cannot be beat.

Impossible to convert a machine to a virtual machine on the same hard disk of the local machine...you need another hard drive or network drive.

I think it’s very best and effective software for business and company so definitely i recommend this over any other software.

Trial licensing can be confusing and the fact that end of the trial disables features could be catastrophic to some deployments.

When comes to server virtulazation vSphere is the best hypervisor solution and so easy to manage and consolidate your servers all in one place.

I've had a 50/50 success rate with support. Sometimes they've been quite helpful and have gone out of their way to follow through.

Overall, I think  it is  worth it, as far as pricing goes. It  is a sturdy, robust product.

There still small problem is some vendor not provide the snmp template to zabbix, so need to discuss with zabbix community.

Deployment is simple enough in non-virtualized environments and the deployment can scale well with very typical server hardware, with no special requirements.

Difficult process to migrate from one version to another. Does not have multiple MFA authentication.

It's a great monitoring solution that is a bit complex to configure.

Zabbix is a Flexible, Reliable, Extensible monitoring solution.

We can now monitor thousands of devices and hundreds of thousands to millions of items. The solution is stable and customizable to handle different monitoring needs of my organization.

Free and FOSS keeps the cost down, so that's good. It can monitor so many things - servers, switched, sensors.

The software has a very active community. Next to this the options with Zabbix are enormous, you can monitor server and networkcomponents.

It's a bit hard for those who are new to Zabbix.

For a cloud monitoring system, including custom processes and polls, it has proven useful in both monitoring and administration.

Zabbix needs less monitoring for it to accomplish its tasks. Alerting and integration is excellent.

Some features are quite hard to learn but reading the man u can do it. A bit of practice is needed.

Overall, Zabbix is one of the essential tools in our company and allows as to be monitored about important server events immediately. It's a reliable, cost and time saving tool.

The newly designed web interface is user friendly and help in implementing and deploy with ease.

Price and ease of use once configured makes for a great combination.

The problem detection and metric collection display should be configurable for each user view.

Check and double check thresholds and notification logic to avoid spamming folks.

For an open source project, Zabbix has amazingly good and up-to-date on-site trainings. The platform itself is probably the leader in its space, and has never let us down in our monitoring needs.

Really robust server processes, light weight agents and infinite customization options.

A large Zabbix community is also a plus point of it. Application monitoring is the best of zabbix as it have number of in-build template to monitor the Applications.

Delay in integrating with new services, such as the Slack tool and cloud services such as AWS. Difficult procedure to backup all configurations.

Zabbix is free, easy to use with many templates.

We will be implementing this in bigger scope. Customer support, both official and unofficial is excellent and also was one of the deciding factor in choosing Zabbix.

My experience has been very good, I have used many monitoring tools that have also been good but this is the one that has convinced me the most.
